This small hotel can for city breaks be recommended.
We stayed there for 4 nights. The rooms are small but sweet. Unfortunately, they are quite noisy. Our room was directly next to the reception. You got with if new guests wanted to check in. If possible ground floor choose.
Breakfast was OK, nothing special. Unfortunately, the choice wasn't very big. The coffee was in any case enjoyable.
If possible you should not ' Frühstücksstoßzeiten ' food. There can be a bit crowded.
We would the hotel for a repeated short break again. read more

The location of the hotel is excellent. Nearby find several nice Pubs and restaurants, as well as a wide range of options for shopping. The access to the public transport is also so far reasonable ( 5 minutes on foot to the subway).
The hotel has a completely pretty lobby, to which a lounge borders, in which you can have a drink and some newspapers material. Check in and check out ran smoothly. However is the staff nothing special and some problems with the English language. Luggage, you should here in the remaining definitely not store, there really nobody an ... eye on it, and in principle each of the bags, the just in a corner of the lobby be asked, could use.
The rooms are small and poorly equipped. The bathroom is also tiny and after use of the shower flooded. The largest problem but it was the clairaudience the room. Even Tiefschläfer here several times at night by banging doors or conversations other guests waked. To that extent can one also definitely not say, that the hotel for such guests is, the only a place to stay for the night search. read more

All in all it was good. Once there was no water because of the defective, so no toilet, no shower. That was rather stupid. Also there one could buy drinks. But it was clean and friendly. read more

We were there for three days in London therefor the size of the room was perfect as we were out more than there. From the hotel it was easy to get to the train, bus or taxis. However, the staff was rather Moody and one had the feeling that they wanted to help a partly not correctly further. But on the whole we would stay at this hotel again. read more

For those who didn't have high standards it's OK!
The hotel is situated on a good location in London, the metro station is about a 5 minute walk away! There are many shops nearby.
Unfortunately we had a room which was in the cellar, but it was in order. We paid attention to cleanliness.
The staff Unfortunately no foreign languages, but there was a lot of effort, is helpful and friendly!
The breakfast is not large, but is more than enough.

For a short get away, the hotel is highly recommended. Our room was very small, but since we only used it to sleep, it was okay. A tv and a kettle with tea and coffee were available. The cleanliness in the bathroom was superficially good, but could have been better in detail can be. The staff was always very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and good tasting.
The location of the hotel was perfect, in order to explore the city. Bus and train stations were within walking distance and nearby there was a shopping street with supermarkets ..., pharmacies, and fast food restaurants.
If we go again to London, we will book this hotel again, as the price-performance ratio was right in any case. read more

Highly recommended, small city hotel.
Rooms are very small, but very comfortable installed, as well as the rest of the hotel. Seems to be very recently renovated. Only the breakfast room lacks a little atmosphere, but otherwise very recommendable. Only a five minute walk to the nearest underground station. Very friendly staff at the front desk.
We would book it again. read more

The hotel itself is rather small and cozy! I think there are only 130 rooms. It is already from the outside a very inviting and well-kept impression. We arrived late at night at 1h and despite the late hour a super friendly service. Our request for a room with 2 single beds instead of a double bed was done promptly. Was actually booked a standard double room, so with double bed. But this was not a problem. Will say: right we had in a room with 2 beds, but it was one free and that's what we got. No additional ... charge! The breakfast is included in the price. The was until 10am. We stayed at the hotel quite a lot of German met. With or without child stops in the scales. The breakfast room itself is quite small, but you can get one table and the service is on your toes and super friendly: O) read more

the hotel is located in the best location not far (perhaps one-and-a-half lengths cigarettes) from the underground station. 'Bayswater' a really very quiet area in the middle of Notting Hill, very nice our room was surprisingly large (!) with parquet flooring. Bathroom was big enough. both modern. installed felt very comfortable here, the staff very nice. for breakfast down to the staff is however very bright. this, friendly and modern installed. Breakfast was okay, but I don't have the coffee was poor, therefor at the next Starbucks right even better:-)have the hotel this time because of the location selected ... in Notting Hill, which is not a mistake. normally live in 'la reserve' which was great. however, the new Linden modern installed and the location just. will book at the next time would definitely go back the new Linden. read more

The New Linden is a small "boutique" hotel in Notting Hill (underground Bayswater or Notting Hill Gate). The location is fantastic, right in the middle of the romantic Notting Hill residential area, just a few minutes walk to Portobello Road. The hotel is typical for London very small rooms, unless you book a higher category. We had to change rooms and enhance the narrow, as we had not. Other rooms in the same (bottom) category better, friends have lived there. Guests are international, the price-performance ratio for London really reasonable. The breakfast was rather scant but very clean and appetizing ... and the entire hotel. The staff is very nice. The picture on the way Holidaycheck.at side is the honeymoon suite. The standard rooms are of course not shown. The honeymoon suite is a closet with a remodeling and then really attractive. read more

The hotel was recommended by friends and we give this recommendation here. This hotel is a typical interesting part of Bayswater sea front, from where London best explored on foot very well-although the transport connections are very good. The rooms are on the small side, therefor very clean and the hotel staff is friendly and immense for example, pub or restaurant recommendations were very helpful. The hotel breakfast is manageable, but adequate. Conclusion: if we visit London again, love to go back to this hotel! read more
