The room was excellent, since i had a free upgrade had received. Also was surprisingly the breakfast included, which may be also because of the upgrade is declared. The central location of the hotel is very good. Thanks to the tips here in the forum i could reach, that i a room instead of on the 1. floor on the 5. floor received, where it really no noise problems gave. Fitness room and internet room are quite small and there is no sauna, although the hallways after appropriate aroma smells (was pleasant, didn't bother us, just a little exaggerated). Negative ... only the price (for a private stay it would have been too expensive been) and the bad stocked hotel bar (except Mojito no cocktail for offer).
In short: if the budget gives, a very good hotel. read more

Amsterdam is a very beautiful city/just a incredibly expensive. For the money, 2 nights without breakfast -you can get a all inclusive vacation for 7 days in Turkey make. This is a city break. Annoyed has, that the parking very, very bad. So soon it is better to use the train. This is also the discontent with the hotel well-founded, because they were very inflexible and help Parkerei was very difficult. And saying 'you are here in Holland' you could save. This has nothing to do with customer service.
from the cleanliness and location is nothing at all to moan ..., it is really reasonable. The hotel should be your staff time in things Customer service schools. read more

The hotel lies very centrally located nearby of the train station -about 5 minutes on foot. In the immediate vicinity there are many sights and options for shopping.
Breakfast was not included, cost 20 euros per person. In comparison to other Swissotels, the breakfast was not really very Oberhit but completely okay. 20 euros it was not worth it! In the area there is nice cafes for breakfast. Many Businessmen.
Cleanliness. OK read more

The Swissotel Amsterdam is a city hotel right on the Dam square. So just a few minutes walk from the rail remove and also in the center of Amsterdam. Each of the 109 rooms are all furnished in a modern equipped and very clean. We had only night without additional services. Will be in Amsterdam (especially so in the center) but didn't need one. You can relax in the within 5 minutes walk extremely varied meals. all in all a top address whether to shop for sight-seeing or _can just to it at night! Everything is close, but you can ... sleep through the night (I think). Due to the Dutch architecture the rooms were of course not too large and the view from the window looks out to a side street and neighbor wall. But the view we didn't go in a city hotel - not understand that if you can complain about. I would recommend this hotel to anyone on my next Amsterdam experience and will definitely stay here again. read more

It is a good city hotel with the best location directly at the Dam-position in the heart of Amsterdam. Madame Tussauds and the castle are approximately 100 meters away. The room was a bit small, but we had all the amenities. It is right in the center of town - all the wonderful canals within walking distance. Please note: The parking drivers in Amsterdam is extortionate - 4 EUR/h. We left our car in the parking garage - 24 h 50.00 euros!!! Everywhere in the city. read more

Modern city-hotel, the decor - we had a premium room - which was very nice and well maintained. Unfortunately the majority of the rooms have no view, all windows overlooking the inner courtyard or on the back of the house (the standing next to it is currently under construction - hammer Including! ). The courtyard rooms are 24 hours a day by the sounds of the air conditioning played on the windows open. We had to be moved twice for 5 nights! The breakfast has to be Euro 20 per person - we passed since there are so many nice ... cafes, where you can have breakfast good and cheap. read more

The Swissotel in Amsterdam is very centrally located. The room was a bit small and unfortunately they had no view from the window, that means we have watched on the next building wall. The service is very good. Friendly helpful staff! read more
