For a city trip perfectly adequate-the hotel is just to stay there. Super view at breakfast from the roof terrace of the Bosphorus. From our room on the fourth floor we had a view of the blue Mosque. read more

Nice, basic hotel in the old town archived

It is one of the many small hotels in the old town (approx. 20 Rooms over 4 floors with elevator). There were international guests and a very mixed, from single to family. The rooms are with a double bed or two twin beds, small but fairly well laid out, so leave your bags find a table. I had the choice between a quiet room in the back - with 'view' of the neighboring wall or at the front of the hotel, to the "main drag". I opted for the back with the window open and could sleep peacefully. The most ... amazing view of the Marmara Sea offers the breakfast terrace on the top floor (the last bit of no elevator). You can dine outside or sit in the glass-walled pavilion. The facility is always open, so you can sit there during the day and evening. My conclusion: If you don't have many requriements you, this at a decent value a place right close to lots of attractions. read more

The rooms are quite small, but well laid out, the bathroom in relation to the, bedroom more generous. The beds were ok, bedding European. There was a TV with international channels (satellite) and a minibar. The decor was simple but functional.

The hotel provides a breakfast included. The breakfast buffet (rather Turkish, western European elements) was for a small and simple hotel quite extensive and neatly presented. Upon request fried or scrambled eggs freshly prepared. The breakfast terrace itself has wonderful views, so it pleasure at breakfast the excursions to plan a day. Water and tea in the lounge area and small, sweet + salty snacks available at no charge.

The staff at the front desk was very friendly and spoke English, French and Spanish. They were always eager to please. All Istanbul Fl area got the offer a small orientation on a map with the most important Anlaufzielen, including tips for excursions, matching Departures and places of tram and boats. We asked to be moved and were it also provided assistance in special requests, for example, when negotiation with my airline due to my "lost" suitcase. The service at the breakfast buffet was friendly, not much foreign languages. The room cleaning could have been a bit more thorough. In the shower were some mold, once the toilet paper was not re-stocked, which I got on request but immediately.

For all the main sights of Istanbul, the sight seeing, it is a great location, just a few Fußwegminuten to Blue Mosque, Haya Sophia, Topkapipalast etc. For longer distances to the tram or the Bosphorus it is also just a few minutes. The hotel is at the end of the "main drag" so in the area although several infrastructure with bazaar, bars, restaurants and kiosks, but not action until late in the night in front of the window.
