In december i was with my girlfriend for a weekend in Hamburg. From the rooms and the friendliness in the Ibis Hamburg alster i was positively surprised. In case of any problems was a the front desk with advice and act to page. Also the location could not be better. The main train station and the alster lake for walks are right in front of the door. The breakfast was not to beat, for offer was everything that you need. So the day already great starting \u263a however we had a room in the direction course rails, so that passing ... trains to be an absolute plus. However, we did not bother us! I think in the summer it was unpleasant with open windows. On the whole it was a very successful city break. Gladly i to this hotel again. read more

The hotel has a good and central location nearby the main train station. However not too nearby, so that you didn't get the whole commotion easier. But you should consider when the variety of rooms probably be careful. I had a room the line. Specially evenings and at night this was not very pleasant. To the street or opposite the Atlantic-hotel it is probably quiet. Besides it somewhere in the room hummed. Whether the air conditioning was or air ventilation in the bathroom, i didn't find out. The strength the duschstrahls was bit slack. At the shower cabin was a ... dreckecke. As you should thorough clean. Apart from that altogether the standard of a Ibis-hotels. read more

We are as a group with 14 persons arrived and it worked smoothly. The beds in this hotel were amazing I have never slept so well. Everything was clean the staff very nice and accommodating. We felt good overall and every time I would book this hotel again. read more

We stayed for 3 nights in the Ibis, the staff were at check in very unfriendly, room not clean, ( round corners) no closed wardrobe, it rained, issue after a umbrella, with 10 Euro Pledge answered. It was very loud and cold in the room. The only thing which was good, is the breakfast, never again a Ibis Hotel. read more

Had to the first room change, because it after urine smelled. In the 2. Rooms lay hair on the bed, at the bench were dash to choco. In the shower hair from our predecessors and dust on the toilet paper roll holder. The tiles and the mirror were very stained. Altogether so very poor cleaned. It was with our complaint only the kakaoflecke cleaned, the rest unfortunately not. Unfortunately had this room everywhere round corners! For 110 Euro the night so poor... read more

The location of the hotel is very good. To to the train station it is only a few minutes. On the Alster was immediately. To the city center you would walk around 10 minutes. The hotel lies in the bustling Saint Georg. Who evenings what undertake will find lots of pubs and must not by car go. The location is the main of the hotel! If you want to get in the center and also at the Alster are wants and a decent and clean hotel on a good level and not too expensive searches is well served.
The rooms ... are not very big, but this one does not need also. They are clean and tidy. The bathroom is clean and tidy. All sound Ibis-standard.
The breakfast room we didn't like it too much. But that is matter of taste and the breakfast was OK.
The staff are very friendly and professional. You can tell, the you in a wide chain is, their people good discipline. read more

Great central location, one is in 5 minutes walk on the main station or in the shopping streets (monkebergstrasse, spitalerstraße ). Functional, room however not too big, but for a city trip absolutely sufficient. For a longer stay could the space for clothes a bit cramped will, box kept rather small. If you very badly soundproofed is, as I for example ( am absolute peace at night at home used to ), I recommend possibly ear plugs, since the busy alsterstraße in the immediate area leads. We stayed for two nights in the Ibis Hotel. The service was very good. Friendly and helpful staff greeted us.
The breakfast left nothing to be desired. The sightseeing spots are easy to reach on foot. read more

The room was reasonable and clean. But only a circa 1. 80 meters large bed and unfortunately only one blanket. For 2 nights it was but reasonable. The breakfast buffet was good, missing things immediately refilled. read more

Pros and cons are the venture. Unfortunately a Ibis in the right frumpy design - a lot of houses the Ibisflotte work now lobby / bar etc. Much modern bright and ( for example Bremen old town). Here was probably (still?!) not on the design moved. Location is great, very centrally located. Lateral road actually quiet-only gives the hotel bar to about 1 hour drinks from the tables on the streets very-delighted groups extremely loud were consumed. Sleep ADE-incomprehensibly that a hotel this noise also strengthens. During the day and in the early evening for a subject, but after midnight?! ... Rooms are Ibisstandard, not the most modern type but OK. Cleanliness reasonable bathroom as usual very small. Staff was quite friendly, rather standard uncoiling but for 2 * OK. One popular comparison to the approximately same expensive Motel One' s, the Ibis however clearly, there is still more out in/out privileges as are Ibis hotels not bad and competition is not all great. read more
