Hotel Village Guama^{(0 stars)}

The huts are barely yet reasonable, a bit musty, a little moldy, which the location and the climate is, a bit shabby, but nevertheless clean and functioning air conditioning and even tv. Our hut had 2' room', which, in turn, from bathroom, bedroom and hall with couch and tv existed. The couch was bed for our daughter absolutely sufficient. Careful, you should make sure because of the ants be, after an hour pool went through our room a trail to the backpack, the on the floor beach, in the backpack inside, in the bag with the last schokokeks and again out. The restauranthaus is relatively new, nice and welcoming. The waiters could be more courteous, but the is in Cuba nothing special and should be no reductions here to make. ;-) In the evening we had crocodile on the plate, the skeptics our travel group were extremely thrilled. Delicious. The breakfast there are on the plate, the mandatory scrambled eggs with bread. Nothing special, but sufficient.

The staff were circular route friendly. Especially impressed us the old man with his rowing boat, the tours evenings and in the morning made. No word English, but nevertheless communicative and politely. Really great! The motor boaters pay attention were very nice. Our daughter I was even allowed to drive.

The pool is small, but clear. The pool bar had chronic getränkemangel. The flung plastic cup you have in the afternoon nevertheless. Apart from that you can not much to do, except the area to enjoy. Next to the hotel is a reproduced indian village, the one time walks. This is relatively unspannend, but you can here the smallest frogs can find ( centimeters). Otherwise you have a fantastic view over the lake, which in sunset was fantastic. Yet beautiful is the sunset, if you have the sunset tour by rowing boat (don't worry, you must/should not row) bay. My goodness, what a gorgeous area! This is wonderful and one should not miss. Nature pur! The compensated for one or another inadequacy the hotel. The complex is over 50-years-old, what you some body it shows. As a part of a djoser round trip we were one night in this complex.

The arrival takes place in 10 to 15 minutes by motorboat (a huge fun for the little ones!) about channels through the mangrove swamp to the lake. Back, you could only on the same way. We arrived at night and we were given a old hut assigned. This was completely shabby and muchtig, hair was in the bed on the alleged fresh Relation, the toilet was urinated on everywhere, dusty it was and it smelled musty and moldy. We have moved to one of the newer huts get. This was quite a difference. The furniture wasnew, there was even air conditioning in the bedroom and the bathroom and bed were clean. So there was unfortunately no water, because something was turned off. Despite repeated call we could on this night not more showers and the next morning ran only a trickle of water. The Hüttencharme was for nothing, surely, we found it originally on the stilts in the water, but the implementation was just not good. By the dark brown wood everywhere, inside, we felt not so comfortable. But the nearest Surely everyone else.

The restaurant was really great to look at, great decorated and the food in the evening was great. We have crocodile eaten, was perfect tasty. There was also chic, Pork and beef, lobster stood on the map, but it was not. The breakfast was -you can't put into words. There was egg with 2 slices of toast with mayonnaise and orange juice, the I had to be left open, because so was horrible. Nothing else. We then hungrily way and were really pleased.

the staff were friendly and helpful, as we everywhere in Cuba could experience.

The hotel complex is only by motor boat reachable on the landing stage at the crocodile farm Guama. This is a touristic complex, where it has this kind of port for the large lake and a crocodile farm,. The crocodile farm is a zoo with many crocodiles in different Altersstadien. The hotel complex with the wooden huts on stilts also includes the Indian village, which tourists can see for 12 CUC boat tour they will go to the hotel complex brought, where a few Stuatuen and palapas constructed -more senseless and not recommendable. The boat trip is fun, but this Indian village -we knew we are not, as to what that really should be. This was our personal sensation.

The hotel complex itself consists of newer huts and old huts. The old one recognizes, that they from the outside dark brown and old looks. The newer are Bretterhütten with polished wood, one sees that already. Boardwalks are huts, front desk, pool area, eating area together connected.
