We are now for the 2. time in this beautiful hotel, and we had the feeling again very welcome. This is and above all the always friendly and attentive staff thanks. We will also in the coming year again, because we probably-feel simple there. The location is for us great, because it is rather quiet. Here you can in the evening just a good night sleep. If you want to party, runs just to the sister hotel, legends, which by shuttle bus 2 times daily route-free of charge. The made several sunday Sleeping and breakfast at the samsara, then the ... shuttle service to the legends and at the beach abgrillen or party. In the evening then back and a calm night has. The staff is very attentive, often too small joke and always pleasant. Owayne, the sunshine of the bar, also helped a guest, a little too much drank, the way to his cottage to find. Quite unspectacular, he has the situation and immediately discreet action. Great! But so was every employee in its own way and made the hotel last year so pleasant for us. read more

A hotel, which is very typical for Jamaica is. ( here you can feel at home, if you have a little open minded and no 5 stars need!). Small, however therefor very quaint, cute hotel the Jamaican style. Can be easily recommended, if you don't daily Hustle and Bustle and so on need! read more

We were 10 days on Jamaica. The vacation was really great. The hotel has great value for money. The room was OK, everything was already quite old, but well maintained. The dishes tasted good, even if the quality not so high was. There was a lot of fried, but for instance also always fresh fruit. Especially highly recommended is the omelets, rose prepared. The staff were friendly and courteous. All in all a successful vacation. read more

The best first, the hotel was very clean. Also as a positive I have the peace and quiet felt, the resulted, that during the day the majority of the guests the hotel have abandoned that there is no beach many have shuttle bus service to the sister -hotel ' Legends' adopted or stop excursions booked. I also have no guest under 16 years old see. The pool is quite small and often alone is I can completely and not at all confirm. Also, as in other reviews zulesen is, before breakfast yet a few Trains in the pool to do ... not swim is possible, because it was to the breakfast being cleaned. Apropos breakfast, this is always the bottom each day been. It qualitatively badly, with very little choice and Anglo-Saxon tastes good. So there was only a warm buffet each with 4 components. For example hot corned beef (tasted like the taste of cat food presents and looks like it), a kind of green cabbage, a kind of rösti and Buchweizenpfannekuchen. Furthermore, there is also every day Porridge and fried eggs to order, something you but between 15 and 30 minutes line up must. Breakfast there are from 8 A. Meter if you then for example a bus tour has booked, the beginning often around 8:30, you can keep actually only toast, in addition there was a sort of cheese ( always the same) and 2 sorts of jam. Nothing else. Sometimes the cook came, for the scrambled eggs and the buffet was responsible only 10 minutes later, then it must be with a 9 hours deadline breakfast on toast with jams reduce. I had in the morning already times on the coffee waive, because the staff it not has managed a cup to pour. At noon there is only nearly food of poor quality with minimal choice and at the latest after three days there are the same. Evenings is the quality much better, there are per evening two dishes to choose from, either fish and chicken or pork and chicken and the courts within a week already repeats. The staff are ( except for the gardener) Jamaica untypical quite unfriendly. But you should nevertheless already on the first day eagerly give out tips, serve reasonably quickly to its coffee in the morning or a drink at the bar comes. The bad quality the' cocktails' combined with grumpy staff a looking for a drink at the bar quite fast austreibt. For traveling alone samsara is not recommendable, and only then, if one its absolute peace want to have. If you want a bit of Jamaica typical nightlife noise wants should better go to legends or merril's head. Thomas Cook awards in its hotel description 3. 5 star, justified are in my opinion but two and a half. read more

In the evening we arrived... Everything was already closed... Our First impression after anreisestress : \u263a However the first impression was wrong... We have here great days and evenings worn... It is a beautiful small, very clean hotel. The samsara and the sister hotel, the legends are through the street in sea-part (isn't far to the water) and garden area divided... Is however not a problem. We weren't the only ones german here, but have often heard, the English spoken was (in our other 2. hotel during our jamaikaurlaubs, the gran bahia principe Jamaica in runaway bay it was clear 'american'). read more

    Our room was excellent... With a view of the pool on the sea. Had a small balcony and everyone extra a bed. The closing mechanisms of the doors and the window we once perplexed, but was ok. Unfortunately was the safe not in the room... However at the front desk it has also worked well (but only to the opening times!).

    There was just a restaurant (stairway to the top ; with a nice view by the windows on the sea) and down then the bar. At the cliffs was in the evening also in the open a restaurant set up... And then in addition to live music... Nice. The food was great, even if only a very small buffet was... Everything very delicious and much better as the legends. It was not a mass processing as in the massive hotel facilities... One had also for the food your peace.

    Actually everything was great. With a few of our english has sometimes not everything was so well... But thus we had also nice events. Everything was very clean and we had a reason to complain... On the contrary. This smaller facilities built a friendly atmosphere to the staff on... We found that good.

    Here it was quiet... Opposite the legends. You can from the cliffs over ladders into the sea and certainly great snorkeling... I didn't really use it... Unfortunately... I later beautiful unterwasseraufnahmen of rays and moray eels seen. The pool was also enough for cooling off and every morning lovely before breakfast. There were enough loungers, also Bali beds and one found here more shadows than at the beach in legends, where you also not so lots of space for had his beach chair. Also, it was quite noisy by local offerers for sporting activities and the locals, their pass wanted... You have to but also even experienced... Also live music at the beach! You could in the bar area the samsara free wi-fi in the internet... Worked great!

    The hotel lies directly at the cliffs and you can via ladders go swimming. There is every day 10 hours a transfer the legends (also here all inclusive) and its sandy beach and 16 o'clock goes it back. Sometimes there are evenings even a extratransfer... Worked great. If you from the hotel above one Jamaica live... Is immediately among the locals and if you on the road along is, you get to know your business and also you know. You should be quiet on you... There are friendly people. 2 time we were in Rick's Café... Out of the hotel to the right about 25 minutes the road along... But jamaican transport 8.! Here are the klippenspringer from 16 o'clock active and sunset then live music... Naturally reggä... One should not miss. The sonntagskirche close to the roundabout sight seeing and worth hearing.

Very nice clean hotel in a casual relaxed atmosphere! Great for a relaxing vacation to spend. Hotel is located on a cliff, there are very good shopping possibilities around into or out of the water. Absolutely no annoying 'beach' and 'beach vendors entertainers'. Very friendly and helpful staff all, the room was very clean! Will definitely go there again. read more

A beautiful spot on the cliffs, near the world-famous Rick's Cafe. Really a great atmosphere in the hotel by the nice staff. These are twice as nice as those in the legends beach Hotel (sister Hotel). Very good is that it is the free shuttle to the legends and the decor could use. So you get the Samsara a good assortment of food and drinks and you can always be on the more lively seven miles beach. Highly recommended is the three dives, it is about a five-minute walk from the West and the Samsara best jerk-chicken in negril. You ... can combine with the visit very good in Rick's Cafe. read more

The hotel is small and well arranged. It is about 50 rooms or bungalows. It is all a bit older but super clean and what more could you ask for. We had all inclusive, as a small buffet have I have never seen anything like it, but it was all tasty and we were always full, or have to eat a lot. The staff is very nice, make everything was very slow but we had no stress. The sea was clean and when snorkeling you has seen a few fish, if you know the Maldives or Egypt it is not ... very exciting, but for it was quite beautiful. Jamaica would be somewhere on the beach be and not on the cliffs, you would see nothing at all. The people of the diving center is very nice and it has also everything folded in the best way. If you are looking for a place to rest and no value on much selection at the buffet, but good food here is I think exactly correct. We were very satisfied. read more

The area could have been a great deal more star rating because of and general character. But the service staff, up on a few exceptions, was rather rude and a bit lustered. The choice of food is very well arranged it is the means to the main about two side and two meat or fish dishes to choose from. Salads and fruit available but not plentiful and well presented. But the one before, only 2.5 stars when you book! We are completely satisfied despite all the drawbacks and were really surprised by the beautiful outdoor part of the area. ... Nightlife non-existent, since we were there in the off season. read more

This time I was on the ground floor facing the garden and had a nice cottage for me with a lot and enough space. The quality of the food is not convinced me, as most of the American standard shall be adjusted (pizza (awful), pasta, burgers, etc.) but there was always again Jamaica niche evenings and the food was fine. Breakfast was good, often local specialties. Drinks at the all inclusive bar were good. I choose the hotel so, because the atmosphere nice and the location is more pleasant, the long beach, although I have changed now, after I ... have tested and two hotels there were plenty of cafes and bars are available, but much more business than in Westend Negrils. The staff was mostly friendly. read more

The pillar houses are spectacular and newly renovated over the winter of 07/08. I stayed in the pillars both in Nov 07 and April 08. read more

    Basic rooms, some with a/c. None with fridges. Lots of options, garden side rooms, cottages, pillar houses, ocean front rooms. I have stayed in the ocean front rooms as well and they have been renovated recently with marble bathrooms. The pillar houses have an unparalleled view. They have increased the balcony size of these and now have a hammock as well. Can't beat it!

    On the cliffs you need a pool as the ocean can be rough and unsafe for swimming. Samsara has a very clean pool. They have just built a sunlounging pool as well. This property imho is not for kids. Most cliff places do not allow children. It's an accident waiting to happen. I'm glad MOST people can figure this out and not bring their kids here.
