Costa d'oiro ambiance village in Lagos first is easy to find, the travel time from the airport in Faro is rd. 45 minutes. Little inviting is the driving directions through the suburbs, past investmentruinen of bygone times. For the hotel there is a large car park, otherwise, you can also good on the street guest parking. The hotel consists of several houses, the partly in greater distance to each other. Of the lobby is a few square meters small, the restaurant area, however, spacious and cozily furnished. We had a basic double room booked over hrs, we got in a neighboring house an apartment - plentifully about 50 square meter large-with a large roof terrace and kitchen. The apartment was pleasantly furnished and the bed comfortable. However was also a or other tile broken, the light in the bathroom didn't work and because of the single pane large windows is the room quickly cool. The air conditioner in the heat okay and in this point not really help. This point is of course with warmer temperatures superfluous.

We have rarely had such good breakfast. Although we the only guests were, were fürstlich served. Besides the usual breakfast items there were some treats and additionally egg dishes and salads freshly prepared.

Top-service. So you can combine. All of the staff were great friendly and helpful. It seemed this never artificially or fake. For breakfast we were all wishes met and patiently answered questions. The room was thoroughly cleaned despite we actually a 'do not disturb sign' hung up. About but we want to time be overlooked.

It is in the hotel several pools distributed on the individual houses. One of the pools was covered and heated, so we were also in the january morning our swim could. Otherwise we had however no activities constituted, the hotel is therefore only partly suitable for club vacationers and families. But if you know this, it is rather as advantage to see. In the hotel there is a wi-fi network, which can be used free of charge.

We already written, is the hotel a little bit out of town from Lagos, unfortunately, a not very attractive suburban location. The view of two hotel ruins is omnipresent and on the long and dark walk it was in the evening very uneasy. In the opposite direction you will find the nearest beach and a beautiful stretch of coastline with cliffs and caves. Lagos itself is no fortress of loungers, but slightly run down but also somewhat personable. With a rental car one reaches fast fantastic bays and beaches, and can the sights of interest the Algarve good.
