We had a basic double room booked over hrs, we got in a neighboring house an apartment - plentifully about 50 square meter large-with a large roof terrace and kitchen. The apartment was pleasantly furnished and the bed comfortable. However was also a or other tile broken, the light in the bathroom didn't work and because of the single pane large windows is the room quickly cool. The air conditioner in the heat okay and in this point not really help. This point is of course with warmer temperatures superfluous.

We have rarely had such good breakfast. Although we the only guests were, were fürstlich served. Besides the usual breakfast items there were some treats and additionally egg dishes and salads freshly prepared.

Top-service. So you can combine. All of the staff were great friendly and helpful. It seemed this never artificially or fake. For breakfast we were all wishes met and patiently answered questions. The room was thoroughly cleaned despite we actually a 'do not disturb sign' hung up. About but we want to time be overlooked.

It is in the hotel several pools distributed on the individual houses. One of the pools was covered and heated, so we were also in the january morning our swim could. Otherwise we had however no activities constituted, the hotel is therefore only partly suitable for club vacationers and families. But if you know this, it is rather as advantage to see. In the hotel there is a wi-fi network, which can be used free of charge.

Costa d'oiro ambiance village in Lagos first is easy to find, the travel time from the airport in Faro is rd. 45 minutes. Little inviting is the driving directions through the suburbs, past investmentruinen of bygone times. For the hotel there is a large car park, otherwise, you can also good on the street guest parking. The hotel consists of several houses, the partly in greater distance to each other. Of the lobby is a few square meters small, the restaurant area, however, spacious and cozily furnished. In the hotel it was in the january very empty or in other words, we were the only guests.

We already written, is the hotel a little bit out of town from Lagos, unfortunately, a not very attractive suburban location. The view of two hotel ruins is omnipresent and on the long and dark walk it was in the evening very uneasy. In the opposite direction you will find the nearest beach and a beautiful stretch of coastline with cliffs and caves. Lagos itself is no fortress of loungers, but slightly run down but also somewhat personable. With a rental car one reaches fast fantastic bays and beaches, and can the sights of interest the Algarve good.

Adequate size, clean, everything worked. Walls as often in the mediterranean rather thin, but in the low season not a problem at all.

Very good quality and diversity breakfast and dinner. Dinner without buffet, but with waiter service. Particularly positive for breakfast the table with portuguese specialties. Also positive : in the evenings always premium portuguese kitchen and no international einheitskost. Very good portuguese wines.

Very helpful staff, both at the front desk, as well as in the restaurant. Anxious about personal speech and create a 'family' atmosphere.

Spacious, clean and brand new. Air conditioning pleasant silent, fridge, coffee machine, kettle, stove and dishes available. Safe had to extra be rented. Small minus.

The booked breakfast was top. Unfortunately only on the last evening in the hotel restaurant eaten. You could more often should have.

The staff were super friendly without ever seeming fake. The interplay of service worked perfectly. All of the staff are at least bilingual (portuguese/English or German). At the front desk speak 2 staff members speak perfect German. In spite of the sand, you from the beach brought, the room was always' leaked ' clean (a 1 with asterisks!).

Small and well run apartment hotel. Booked with breakfast. Our apartment was a few -minute walk from the main building away. So you had a bit of time, the great breakfast to it. Somewhat outside of town, but very nearby to all beach sections located hotel. Within 5 minutes nearest beach. Many beaches with a few minutes more but also easy to reach. Two excursions with hired car walked easily (europcar returns car up to front desk). City is nice, also clean and evening shows. The visited restaurants were not our expectations. But perhaps only bad luck had.

The studio was adequate large and well equipped. Everything fit well to the style of the hotel. Evening you could long on the balcony sit and the peace and quiet enjoy.

The breakfast was very good. Everything was there, what a good breakfast heared. Regional products there was in the morning. Everything was fresh and it was constantly refilled. The dinner in the restaurant can only be recommended. A very good regional cuisine, you knew not at all what you should order, the courts sounded all delicious food. We were only 3 times there, the menu so not up and down can eat, but what we ordered was just heavenly. Recommendation: prawns ala piri-piri The waiter always had the right wine recommendation met. The prices for the main courses in the 12-15 Euro.

The staff are very friendly and accommodating. An employee the front desk speaks perfect german and also the waiters try the guests in german and english address. The communication wasn't a problem. Room service was very good. Every day was thoroughly cleaned and the beds in the 14 days times changed.

The hotel consists of several small houses, all a very well-kept impression make. Our house was about 5 minutes on foot from the main building, where the breakfast room and the restaurant there, away. It was set in a small garden with a pool. The outdoor area was with a lot of love decorated. The studio which we had booked, was equipped with lovely bright furniture, had a kitchenette, and a small bathroom. Everything very clean and tastefully decorated. We had booked only breakfast, were but also 3 time for dinner there. A very good cuisine and a great service. The most guests in the hotel were at the riper age. Few young guests and hardly children. The majority of the guests came from Germany and England, but also dutch and russians were there. Everything went very quiet and relaxing to.

The different beaches are more than reachable on foot. Also there are shops enough in the surrounding area. The center from Lagos itself, is in about 15-20 minutes on foot To reach. We had for the whole time a rental car, to other places than Lagos to discover.

Our room seemed newly renovated to have been. It was by means of dark brown color, white and blue accents, a hung up ceiling over the bed and weak lichtbirnen a pleasant schummerige atmosphere created. It seemed really nice, had but to read almost too few light. The bed is large and very broad, and is a good mattress equipped. The bed is wide enough for two people, and the pillows are a nightmare. Beside each headboard there is a wooden plate, the notdürftigste for the night lockers. Unfortunately the lights on the headboard separate switch, so that you fall asleep should. Also only one plug socket available. Further shelf space are a small table with a chair, as well as a free standing, small fridge with the mini bar. The narrow closet offers only a bar with clothes hangers two drawers. So we had to inevitably live out of a suitcase. At least it is a suitcase there was a stand. The poor facilities is completed by a full-length mirrors, a air conditioning, and the mini safe (1,50 Euro per day). The windows be fabric blind and additional rattanrollo darkened. Plus point: the telephone offers lowcost tariffs to Germany, which with 0.15 Euro/ minute mobile phone charges easily beat. Unfortunately the dialing technically not very mature, so that usually several attempts are necessary. The breakfast buffet is large and offers literally, what your heart desires. I am pleased especially the fresh fruit salad. Very nice but also the portuguese spezialitätenbüfett with sweet and savoury dishes, even included liqueurs and a excellent portuguese champagne. Eggs prepared the kitchen on request extra to. Only variety you couldn't expect any-but you can even, depending upon desire and mood, by different sets create. What was very nice: the breakfast there are until o'clock, and it is also until the last minute refilled everything. Top! From to o'clock there are at the bar details like toast or sandwich. Who book half board, must for breakfast already their choice for the three-course dinner meeting. It can consist of two starters, two main courses and two desserts. Thursday gives mostly bbq. For entertainment during or after eating is two days the week ( on tuesdays and thursdays) provided. We had however because of the hefty extra charge only booked breakfast, and tried therefore only on the first evening the food in the hotel. It was very nice arranged and really good. In comparison to other restaurants is worthwhile the extra charge however not ( circa 15 Euro for a main course), so that the remaining vacation in various restaurants ate. Furthermore it is evenings very stressful, and the kitchen is probably reluctant to à la carte orders to main dining time contrary to. The hotel offers a wide selection of local wines. Already in the einstiegsklasse for 12 Euro the bottle is each quantity is offered. Try I had however only the open red and white wine, both tasted excellent and are really recommendable. Oh, an espresso it cost 1.00 Euro and a latte 2,00 Euro. You can't do anything against say, even if in the comparison the city of extra charge of 60% is a lot. The majority of the guests were very pleasant and quiet. In particular there was also evenings no noise, after o'clock the bar was dead. The hotel lies approximately one and a half miles from town center Lagos away on a headland. The hotel offers different room types. We had in the main building the room above law beautiful balcony and a view of the away sea. ( drying rack and sun screen available) The room was however small and economical furnished. A mini bar and a flat screen with 2 German programs are also available. The bathroom is quite small and very clean.

The food and drinks are very good. For dinner there was a plentiful selection portugisischer food and wines Portugal. So it was worth it, the a or other time also to eat there. The waiters ( for example other and Gustav) are very friendly and always have an ear to lend. What counts here is the guest was still as such!

The staff are very friendly and helpful, with German and English you got in any case further. The room is cleaned daily, towels are changed on a daily basis and also the bed linen a male exchanged.

There are two pools, it even in August with 2-3 people more than quiet. A pool is covered, when it in the autumn chilly,. Therefore we drove ;-) Was offered a musical fado evening and a barbecue.

The costa D oiro ambiance village is a really small hotel. All of the staff give themselves the largest trouble, the wishes of the guests to fulfill. In the hotel a really beautiful breakfast offered, that also regional products includes. Also half board is possible. But you need not to book. Even a at short notice decision on the same day, in the hotel food, is possible. Guests were in August from Germany, Netherlands, britain, so very international. Even in August were little children in the hotel.

Only a couple of minutes outside of the center from Lagos. The whole area is very well-kept. From the airport you need on the a22 about 1 hour. Shops for beverages and details you will find small shops (spar supermarket ) in the area. Lagos offers great excursions if you with a rental car unbound is. We were in sagers at the southernmost tip of the Algarve and are also on the west coast, where you really wonderful width beaches and no mass tourism.
