For us a beautiful double room superior reserved what we found was not these criteria. ( lake view only side from the schmalerm balcony without seating possibility, as well as no bath tub). The hotelier, has explained to us, that in his opinion no rules for the classing superior give. Our comments were thus ignored. Was OK for us the value for money under this conditions not at all. read more

We enjoyed particularly the informal atmosphere liked it, the staff are very friendly, nice and attentive.
Special wishes were fast fulfilled. Family Wildi has a especially warm art with the people to deal with. This hotel is very recommendable, also for families with children. read more

For the first time spent we a short stay in the hotel ship. We were very warmly welcomed. The selected rooms were large and clean. As well as a large bathroom. The rooms had direct and lateral lake view with a balcony.
We will gladly come again!
Only negative (complain about of a high standard) the carpets were.
Apart from that a completely perfect stay with very friendly and accommodating staff! read more

Felt in the family-run hotel very probably. The hotel owners is very concerned about each guest endeavors, so you really feel welcome. The breakfast on the terrace with a view of the lake Maggiore

Everything was great, friendly, right on the lake, breakfast is very good, the three minutes egg has worked perfectly. The only thing that disturbed us, the mattresses are all-encompassing, my bones the not so good anymore. The problem we had was we have stayed at other hotels. There is a trend from, if new mattresses are purchased, they must be boards hard. A Shame. read more

The hotel is located in the pedestrian zone right on the lake Driveway to the hotel allowed for invite What was not clear, as you get the bollard at the beginning of the pedestrian zone Walking distance to the hotel and ask, back, then it was clear: once a red button ring, say anywhere you want to go, for example, and the hotel down bollards

We knew of the hotel and in good luck over the Internet! The moment we arrived we were impressed by the positive friendliness of the front desk! The size of the room was for a three star hotel more than sufficient The bathroom and the view of the Lake Maggiore left nothing to be desired! The breakfast was very tasty and the best thing about it was, that it was on the terrace, with a direct view of the lake, in the fresh air, could enjoy! read more

The room was described as a lovel double room however the room we found was very dated and old fashioned and the bathroom was tiny. We found the staff very unfriendly. Check-in felt like an ordeal rather than a welcome. The breakfast buffet was limited in choice and variety.
Also be careful as our reservation stated that parking was included. The hotel denied this and we ended up spending a small fortune on parking over the course of the two days. Thankfully as this was not a busy time of the year we were able to find spaces - might ... not be so easy in high summer.
The location of the hotel is great by the waterfront in Ascona along with several other hotels which we wish we had booked instead! read more
