We were for the 2. time in this hotel, this time from monday until saturday. My detailed review i had in october 2010 written. Had changed nothing, everything was reasonable. I had in advance by e-mail with the hotel communicates, so that we a twinbettzimmer -because the double bed for the last time simply too small was. First we got the booked double room with sofa bed, but at the front desk we got then to demand immediately the twinbettzimmer. Our room was on the 1. floor - room 113. the only negative was, that this time we are not ... safe got, as all were full. There is just about 10 piece. We were however offered our valuables at the front desk effect, so that they essentially office be stored in there. Breakfast is furthermore from 6.30 until 10:00 o'clock, on the weekends from 7 o'clock. Internet in the room costs 6 pound per day, or 3 days for 12 pound. read more

The hotel is located in a small side street, which we very difficult to find was (have about half an hour searched for) so definitely before, as one best to get up! The area was generally not recommendable, had to directly in front of the hotel a violent fight witness, and the later it was, the worse people to meet you. I would therefore me alone as a woman after 9-10 not trust. The traffic connections the city centre is nevertheless very good (about 20 minutes to Victoria). The hotel itself i can recommend with a clear conscience, the staff ... are mostly friendly, and above all anxious if it around the room tidying up is. One finds however the exact hinsehen nevertheless from time to time dirt. (layers of dust on the tv, dirt behind the soap dispenser and so on) read more

The hotel lies of the location was very good. We were to Olympia in London and the value for money was excellent. Breakfast was even better than in the UK; the lady, when we checked in, was not the friendliness in person, but the other staff were really nice. You need to the train station around 10 minutes away on foot. To to the airport Gatwick is just about 20 minutes, to London Victoria also with the fast train only 10 minutes. The Travelcard is recommendable, but only from 09:30, then it costs instead of 15 pound only 8 ... pound - we have unfortunately only on the third day noticed. The area is not the best - as a woman alone it is everywhere dangerous. As a tip for London - if you an overview of the city needs, should this hop-on-hop-off bus. In the next trip I would in the various districts with the subway and the' streets' itself explore. Evenings you should definitely time in Covent Garden / Piccidilly Circus hang around and the atmosphere enjoy! read more

The hotel lies a bit out of the way with the overground is one in 25 minutes in the center. Shopping center / street directly around the corner. Parking only in the public parking garage 200 meters linear distance = 10 GBP per day. For London book. As it is quite a way out in the South is the transportation of the ferry short and quickly. To Kingston upon Thames -very nice suburb-it is just a stone's throw. Safes at the front desk only very limited available. Please note: the Bettmatrazze was so soft, like a not completely filled Luftmatrazze. ... The third bed product a sofa bed. Is however okay been. Evenings there's not much happening. In summary the hotel has an excellent value for money. read more

The holiday Inn express is a great place for people, the visiting London and a cheap and good hotel would like to have. The hotel lies 10 minutes footpath of the train station and by train you are in about 15 minutes the train station London Victoria reached (best possibility train and subway to use: day travelcard, costs 8.50 GBP. Small side effect-this train ticket made possible the 2 for 1 attractions for London (Madame Tussauds, London eye, tower of London, etc. At half price). The room was very clean and surprisingly large with a TV. Every day it ... was cleaned. Breakfast is inclusive and offers a wide choice (Croissant, rolls, toast, fruit, yoghurt, jams. And of course English breakfast). The value for money is unbeatable. Our in short: if we come again to London flies, we come definitely to this hotel again! read more

the staff were brilliant. We arrived Friday 22 hours at night around and I needed only and got our name immediately the room card (check-in took less than 2 minutes). there are two computers in the lobby (available from foreign company; against payment). We checked in for the flight. As there is no printer was the tickets at the hotel-computers/ printer print free of charge. with plaster we were immediately supplies, after the shave had cut. The staff were always helpful and worried, it that you were feeling good and like it. our cleaning staff deserved its name.

the location is for the price great. From the hotel it takes to London about 15 minutes by train. We arrived at London Heathrow. From there with transfer is about one and a half hours. Recommendable nonetheless it is, in Germany Tickets for the subway and so on to get. So you pay additional porto, but no change and they didn't have the horrible long queues ( for example Victoria station) queue. We were really happy, the tickets before worried had. in Croydon, London (Victoria station) there are 'fast' and trains. Firstly we did not know that. With the trolley took the drive about 45 minutes and with the 'fast' train only about 15 minutes, with a short stop over. The best other Passengers in Croydon questions. Faster it does not, if you want a hotel in London. the hotel lies right behind the pedestrian precinct with various shops. You should definitely go there shop go. The prices ( in comparison to London) are really cheap and great shops (topshop, shoe shops without end, department stores). The shops are even on a Sunday. Saturday is around the corner a market. About 5 minutes from the hotel (on the way to the train station) there are 2 supermarkets, one always had to at least 22 o'clock. A great Pub is not far away. Fast food (McDonalds, KFC, subway) all nearby. You should definitely a day in Croydon.

the hotel lies in a small dirty lateral road (therefore quite quiet). There are about 10 minutes' walk to the train station and from there is one in about 15 minutes in the city. The rooms are not very large but practical. There was TV unfortunately only in English. We noticed the very superficial cleaned is above the bed was for months not more dusted were. The breakfast is very limited but you found something. Typical English. The service at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. read more

Suitable for a city break. Of You need two 1/2 hours to the hotel. Tickets for those stensted express you get on the plane. Go to Liverpool street, then day travel ticket purchase, A-six and to Victoria, in the train to East Croydon (Gate 15-19). Train station right in Croydon, follow the tram, cross two streets, in the pedestrian zone in the past, then across from the KFC in dark alley, then you can reach the hotel. Booked a double room and got a, 40 m bed with a common ceiling. For mother and daughter (19) already took some getting ... used to. Room was tastefully decorated, clean, big enough. Bathroom as well. Flat screen tv, only English program. Think of an adapter for electricity, had to buy in the hotel for five pounds. Breakfast is basically taken enough, however, it was filled up at our time to no more, so it happened, that once against 8:30 already there was hardly and 9:15, although it until ten breakfast. The tables were smeared from the guests before, or not cleared. Here you should work on. Drinks are expensive in the hotel, but on the way from the train station there were enough shopping possibilities. In Croydon, you can shop well, there are tons of shops. My daughter was pleased about the primark in front of the door. Overall, we enjoyed the hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful. read more

We stayed for four days in this hotel. It is a little out of the way, but the city center can be reached by train in 15 minutes. As the train runs every ten minutes (one time every hour at night) the connection is great. A bit difficult the path is from London Heathrow Airport. We took the bus taken (x26) the right, but shall Ansprucht 80 minutes. With the underground one drives to South Kensington, changes to London Victoria and from there a train (mostly platform 15-19) to East Croydon. The hotel has been renovated and very pleasant. The ... shower was a little dirt on the kettle and I wouldn't use. The staff is nice and the room for the English very clean. The rooms are cleaned every day and the towels were exchanged. The breakfast is simple with roll, toast, yogurt, coffee, juices, jams and honey, but it is well worth it. There will be a full English breakfast with beans and sausage, but not very looked appetizing. As you are in the hotel only to sleep it is perfect for a city break suitable. I would stay here again! read more

Really clean, very friendly staff, for a city break great! Excellent transport links to Victoria Station! (5 minutes to the train station. There is for example scrambled eggs, hot beans, sausage, fruit, yogurt, cheese, bread rolls, croissants, toast, so something for everyone) For the cheap price, we found the hotel excellent! read more

In the hotel are many Japanese people, Chinese, German in the minority, but also English. In front of the hotel there is a small ' Raucherbänkchen ', the always attracting a lot of visitors was.

We are to the Gatwick airport flown. From there it is really not far to Croydon by train about 20 minutes! Nearby are sufficient Fast food temple thus verhungern must one really don't. nearby is the Croydon shopping centre with all major shops you need. Our starting point for the Londonbesichtigungen was the train station East Croydon (West Croydon was very worn ) not really nice )! From there one drove about 20 minutes to London Bridge, from there we went further with the subway. My personal in short for a another London stay I would like to into town purely! It is simply too far outside.

Great hotel for a visit to London! The hotel is a bit ghetto in a courtyard, very quiet, but without much of a view. Everything was very clean, friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are large enough, are cleaned daily and are well equipped. Everything else of restaurants, cafes and pubs, as well as further shops of every kind are in the adjacent pedestrian zone. In particular, the transport links to London Victoria is easy to find and in our experience with short footpath not more than half an hour. A little improvement enabled: The breakfast is plentiful, but very ... busy and sometimes a bit unappetizing. Furthermore, the way to the hotel could be better signage. But overall really good and priced okay! read more

The location of the hotel is good. Modern decor, but you have to accept the minor flaws (for example. Dent in the door), for such a low price but OK. The room was very clean, mattress was much too soft (reminiscent of a water bed, two in a bed it's not really quiet sleep). Breakfast was OK, selection of drinks (juices, coffee, cappuccino, cocoa...), rolls, jam, cheese, fruit, cereals and English breakfast (eggs, beans...). Price/performance in the entire seen quite good. read more

This hotel is great for a city trip. 15 minutes maximum in (only with a train, the bus stops, otherwise 10) can be reached London City. Supplements will not travel, if you want a oyster card (7 days 52 pounds) buys. The walk from the hotel to the airport is short, but especially on the way back a stop on the tram (without long waiting times, as well as the trains). Room, bed and bathroom were great as was the breakfast with eggs, cereal, fruit and cheese etc., even the coffee was good. read more

We are today, and I have to say: it is the best English Hotel, in which I ever was. The price/performance ratio is absolutely right. The breakfast was great: ready-to-bake breads, cheese, good coffee, delicious orange juice, fruit, scrambled eggs, toast, etc. No wishes remained open. Absolutely good. Around the corner from the hotel there is a pedestrian, that is to say you didn't necessarily have to drive in the city center of London. You can shop in peace and quiet with, inter alia, impressive topshop, primark, House of Fraser and so on and have to drag your bags in ... between to the hotel, so that you don't so much ☺ Something about location: from Stansted to the Liverpool street-to the Victoria Station with train from Victoria Station to East Croydon (platform 15-19), about 15 minute. And then: from the train station side, turn right and go straight ahead. On the main road and continue straight ahead, along the tramline. Right comes a pedestrian zone (primark) and still past. At the level of the KFC can you turn right into a dark alley or you could just 70m and then turn right. You have to look really, because the sign with the names of the street on the right hand side on Hüfthöhe is appropriate (Frith road). Above a small sign and one of the houses in the street Frith house means. If you know it, it was really very quickly. read more

Good Hotel, good connection to the train to London City

We chose this hotel, because it was very cheap for seven days. There was a breakfast buffet offered something for our taste but rather poor anymore. But we knew this already from stories and is also well known for England. It was just weird scrambled eggs and sausage this, toast, orange marmalade, cereal and yogurt. The CAFE and juices were okay. But as we are not so the plug, it didn't bother us so much. Our room was very clean and spacious. The bathroom was okay and clean. We got new towels every day. For a London trip I can ... only recommend this hotel. Price/performance ratio. The staff is always friendly and opened to listen. The communication worked but only in English. But that was not a problem for us. Croydon has many shops in the pedestrian area and a good connection to the train to the City of London. By train you will need about 15-30 minutes, depending on where you want to go. The best buys you a day ticket as they are buses, tram, underground and so on can be used. In Croydon itself there was there were discos and bars. If the nightlife tested and it was fun. Can the hotel only recommend and would even go back neighborhoods with a renewed London trip. read more

This hotel is absolutely bloody brilliant for city travel! perfect base for a short get away 100% in London. Super Traffic Connections. (for example Easter Island standard Time CROYDEN Bahnhaof is about eight minutes. Within walking distance) Bars and shopping possibilities directly in front of the door... Just lovely for a short break! We can only recommend the hotel. read more

At the station East Crodyon, centrally located. From Gatwick Airport you need about 30 minutes by train from the train station it takes about ten minutes walk from the hotel. Tip: with the travel card you can get anywhere. All day from 9.30 o'clock the Peek off ticket costs of Croydon eight pounds. In combination with a two for 1 special, the entrance costs in many sights for the price of one person (London Eye, Madame Tussauds) Croydon has everything you need for in between. Whether Supermarkets, Fast Food-Chain, Pubs, Shopping Centers. Everything was available! The check-in process ... was exceptional. There was toast, butter, jam, croissants, cereals, cereals, fruit, scrambled eggs, sausage. The advantage if you at check-out time is 11:00 o'clock, you can take your luggage until departure leave! One gets a fetching even. read more

Friendly Staff. Check-in was at nine in the morning o'clock possible. Room was cleaned for us first. On the day of arrival, even breakfast. Wireless Internet access in the lobby, free of charge available. The room was clean. Links to central London: footpath to the train station: about 600 meter The drive to takes only 15 minute London-Victoria. From the airport by the same train station only a 15 minute. The price/performance ratio absolutely. read more
