The hotel lies opposite from the Croke stadium. You can in circa 15 minutes away by foot to the center from Dublin go. The rooms were very nice with flat screen. The bathrooms were also very good. The bar was very nice. However one may not pub atmosphere expect. read more

The hotel is directly located next to croke park, the largest irish Stadion. In the direct environment are very many homes to find, what various pubs and small shops on the ground floor house. In the city center one runs on foot around 10 to 15 minutes. The rooms are modern and very functional (save, kettle and so on). But unfortunately there were no german tv channels. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Wireless internet was free of charge in addition in the lobby 3 free computer places available. read more

Efficient and well-run business hotel. Location right on the Croke park Stadion (80,000 places) in very simple commercial/residential area, nevertheless very quiet. Drive into the city with the taxi 10 minutes. For city breaks to Dublin very recommendable. read more

Good hotel at the stadiums, however not central

The hotel lies exactly opposite the Rugby stadiums (80,000 spectators). If a game is, then it is with the hotel certainly not so good. Parking garage was for hotel guest free of charge. Wi-Fi only works in the lobby, but free of charge. The room (128) was good, clean and everything worked. Bathroom with a shower and bathtub. Breakfast for Irish, or British standards very good and good selection. On foot to to the center about 20 minutes and not easy to find. Taxi's are good and not too expensive. read more

The hotel lies approximately 25 minutes on foot from the town center, in a quiet District of Dublin. A bus connection is available, the stop is approximately 10 minutes on foot. From the airport to the hotel you pay with the taxi 20 euros inclusive tip. The reception in the hotel was very good, the staff are very willing to make an effort and helpful. The rooms were very big and modernly furnished. The safe has a free available provided, as well as a CD player, kettle, coffee and tea. The Continantalfrühstück was very good, there were a variety of ... juices and heißetrip drinks offered. The Cappuccino was very delicious. In the next Dublinbesuch we will the hotel again. read more

Very nice, modern comfort hotel in Dublin

Highly recommended hotel in the heart of Dublin City Rander; to the center about 20 minutes. The hotel is located across the street from the main stadium of Ireland, the Croke park stadium. In the immediate vicinity you will find many housing and a bit sordid homes. Even though this area first and frightening seemed a little daunting, we felt very safe at any time, inter alia, because a police station just a few hundred metres away from the hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, typical Irish. The rooms are modern and clean, even if the LCD tv ... was already a bit older. Very nice we found the small coffee/tea and mini hi-fi system in the room. Breakfast was good, if a little greasy and unhealthy, as the British/Irish cuisine. We were thrilled with the excellent service, we were at the check-out, for example, two bottles of water free of charge and sent us on our way. Overall, despite the somewhat strange location was a very good hotel; we have felt ourselves very well. What Dublin is concerned: the traces of the ongoing recession and high unemployment are seen everywhere in the city, I hope it goes with Ireland up soon. read more

The hotel looked quite plain from the outside but inside it was quite modern and I thought it was very beautiful. Furthermore, the room card was needed in the elevator on the bottom floor to operate the lift. This saved the glances of the uninvited guests who didn't belong in there. Also, the hotel had a neat and clean appearance! read more

The rooms were very well furnished. In addition to the large bedroom furnished with TV, air conditioner, safe (free), telephone, stereo system, hairdryer, water heater with tea and coffee, ironing board and a mini bar (extra charge), there was a large bathroom. The bathroom included a large glass shower next to a bathtub and a large sink!

  • Gastronomy

I noticed on the bottom floor there was a Sideline Restaurant. This was divided into three adjoining rooms. My tour group was given two menu options served in buffet style. The food was very tasty and especially plentiful. The breakfast was also served in buffet style. There was fresh coffee, tea and toast served personally. Furthermore there was the warm self service buffet with beans, bacon, eggs, mushrooms, sausages and much more! Next to the restaurant, there was still a bar in the style of a lounge!

  • Service

The service was adequate for the hotel and very friendly. We had nice and courteous service. In the restaurant areas we were welcomed and even accompanied to the table and had attentive service. The service there was quite speedy and quick!

On sports and entertainment I could not say anything because we were only staying for one night and of course I preferred the advantages of the city of Dublin! In the lobby there were two free servers for internet use. Also there was a gym available!

This hotel was located a good 20-25 minutes (brisk) walk from the center. A 5-10 minute taxi drive to the city in the city traffic for € 8 for one person was too expensive! The hotel was located just opposite the Croke Park stadium (60,000 seats). As I said, I rate it as good because it was 20 minutes walk, and not a problem for me.

For us was the location of the hotel problem. A ticket for the public buses (there was always a bus line-no matter where you want to!) and it is no time problem. If You however gladly spontaneously in the city center wanted to do something, should go there looking for a hotel. Bus line/ Line: footpath about 7 minutes, (Italian) restaurant in the same street. The hotel restaurant had a good menu. read more

We were originally booked to stay at the hotel the Morgan gubucht and changed the hotel after the first night. The Croke Park Hotel is situated about 2 km from the city center directly opposite the Croke Park Stadium. The advantage of this property is the free parking in the underground garage and the free Internet access in the room. We ate at the hotel twice and were very pleased. The transport links we suspect rather bad, but can't say, as we always have a car. The breakfast at the hotel was also good for international clientele. As usual, not ... only in Ireland like eggs, sausage Offered read more
