The vacation in this hotel was for us a very successful 5-day trip. Hiking and wellness vacation we had made and just that was it also. Everything within walking or with a ship or train easy to reach. A complaint would be: the poor reception. This would be improved. The staff were very friendly. read more

October: vacation period for the hiking and a public holiday in the middle: that was for the already down driven hotels and restaurants too much! Unfortunately! We had last year a very other impression of the otherwise so industrious Sachsen.
Vacation apartments very big, but inappropriate with family ( partly only 1 large room and separate bathroom). Had therefore 2 apartments. Facilities for great. read more

Good three star hotel ( somewhat expensive) in the middle of the village. Hotel's own parking without additional charge. Best starting point for all activities in small paradise. Good breakfast, however is full hotel a server (the very efficient and attentive was ) simply overwhelmed, thus there was again and again Gaps in the buffet. read more

The negativten impressions: golden wedding at the day of booked candlelight-Dinners was known; nevertheless no response from the side of the hotel neither early nor evenings! candelight dinner with 3 candles instead of candles and poor table decoration. Not a single Blume on the table, but also on all other tables 4 days long not available.
On the terrace by bad color selection of tables, chairs and accessories no friendly ambience
In the room an ancient small CRT TV and despite spaciousness no real possibility to sit as a couple, as well as no pictures or wall decoration. The Amselgrundschlösschen is a clean, pleasant equipped hotel with beautiful large rooms, the restaurant, terrace and bar. Unfortunately lied our room on the hotel entrance and the guests used the space below our window to the smoke and chat up at 2 o'clock in the morning, so that we could not sleep. The closing of window could remedy, but the temperatures in the room left not to, it was too warm. Unfortunately! Apart from that has the hotel and the staff with us a good impression leave. Breakfast was very varied and balanced, it wasn't missing anything. In case we ... again here to stay, we will a different room book. read more

We had the hotel at very short notice and were very positively surprised. It is very centrally situated and is for excursions in and around the Sächschiche Switzerland very suitable. Hikes you can directly from the hotel start from evenings you could very well at the fireplace and a drinks unhitch.
The restaurant I can highly recommend. All in all it was a very nice stay and we will definitely come again. read more

We have taken a small vacation in Switzerland Sächische. The bastion is about a half-hour walk from the hotel. The hotel offered us a very pleasant stay. The location of the hotel was very quiet. The hotel was no noise go from being neighbors to hear. But it should also be noted, that we in the low season and a very small extent of utilization of the hotel was. The sauna area was in, the tasteful and well equipped is, where some four or five star hotel a slice of can learn. Everything was very clean, the rooms big enough ... and without faults. With the breakfast we were also very satisfied (see photo). The dinner is also recommendable, since everyone could find something you liked. We had booked a Vorweihnachtsarragement. (Forced) during the 2002 had to be renovated, it was enough for the rest of the hotel unfortunately not. Our room had a 20-year-old furniture (including tv and bed). Where the hotel third five stars ago has, is a mystery. Only the kitchen could not-although it is good. read more

We have experienced a relaxing weekend. Full Of Relaxation. Very worth mentioning is, the good service with surprisingly low staff. A smooth expiry. Friendly staff in the restaurant, Wellness Areas, as well as at the front desk! In summary we would recommend it and will definitely go back! read more

The blackbird reason is a good hotel schlösschen for hiking, or a trip to Dresden and surrounding area would like to. Subway is close by and you can take a paddle boat ride to and from the hotel was very good. The view from the bridge and the Festung Königstein fortress bastion is overwhelming. read more

Pleasant, quiet and friendly hotel
The location at the foot of the bastei invitation to communicate in other languages was quite good. But the nearby Elbe with regular Elbschiffsverkehr especially in nice weather a boat ride through the Saxon Switzerland to Dresden to the experience. read more

A beautiful wellness weekend is behind us and the hotel has a huge large share, that everything is so perfect to walk. The room was very nice, the environment, and especially to be highlighted is the service and the variety of the food. We had booked half board we have been incredibly good, everything was very plentiful and tasted great. Also the breakfast buffet left nothing to be desired.
The wellness area is very good and from the hotel, you can start for hiking excursions in the surrounding area.
Minimal drawback-the parking lot, which takes its name did not earn ... as such, but it was really just aside.
We will definitely go back there again! read more

I booked this hotel through the internet, due to the generally positive reviews. We were delighted that the "real" partly exceeded even! The paved parking needs better labelling, as the German drivers are available only on clear designated parking right parking! However the correct park a vehicle shall not up to the hotel, but the problem of the guests with car! read more

The hotel is located in a quiet and beautiful location in the spa Rathen and is as a base for tours to the Saxon Switzerland, especially the Bastei highly recommended. The Frühstücksleistung was very satisfying and varied. The TV in the room is a bit in relation to the room size a little on the small side. We stayed for a weekend at the hotel. Unfortunately one night due to a 5-70 sleep until well after midnight by big noise. read more
