Whoever is looking for peace and quiet; if you're looking for a terrific reef nearby for snorkelling and/or diving sets; if you want a natural resort (go barefoot on the whole island) searches; if you pure relaxation and good food estimates for the is helengeli can only be recommended. We would book immediately again! read more

Helengedli Iceland resort: An island, the already very long. We were 2 weeks for snorkelling and relax. Arrive by seaplane about 15 minutes away from the male, then with the dhoni about 7 minutes to the island. Transfers were okay. read more

    Size is good, furniture is functionally, not exaggerated. No tv, no radio. The mini bar we never used it. The air conditioning worked perfectly, you could by remote control adjust. All bungalows have an outdoor bathroom with 2 showers, not visible. When the outside temperature very pleasant!

    A restaurant, which barefoot or with slippers to celebrate. Dress such as long trousers or great clothes are inappropriate, very funny. Shorts, t-shirt is totally enough! There was chicken, beef, lamb, vegetables, spaghetti, potato in separated. Species, rice, fruits, salads, juices and a very good dessert buffet. Drink prices in Dollar: 1,5 liter mineral -4.90! ,as well as Cola. Coffee at the bar 3,50 Tea or coffee at the full board free after eating offered. Breakfast is sufficiently, mostly light breads and pastries. The coffee is served. No withdrawal from the pot. The taste of the food was good!

    The staff is friendly and helpful, very friendly. English really good understood. 2 times daily the sand from the room and from the small terrace swept. Changing you can decide yourself.

    There is a pool, we didn't use them, have seawater overall. A kids club does not exist, the island is for kids under 10 not convenient.! Mainly divers, snorkelers are met and people, those gladly again apart from the noise from kids have a vacation. You can ping-pong games and in the bar is a pool table. Each bungalow has 2 pool chairs and chairs, beach towels. The loungers you can depending on location to the beach drag the views. I give for sport and entertainment 3 suns, because one for relaxation not more needed than peace. In the diving center you will find lots of information, are all very pleasant.

    Bungalow number 44 is about 20 steps away from the shore, shady. On the island there is a mini shop. Inselmappen and postcards you can get. There is entertainment thank god no, in the bar you can a few board games borrow. No tv and radio in the bungalow.

The complex is rather small, typical Maldives Island, about 50 bungalows. The food and the other facilities are rather simple but sufficient. Is the attraction the nearby riff. Here we saw sharks, turtles, Moray eels, octopus etc.. read more

It was nice on a island the was not crowded with room. We enjoyed the outdoor bathroom very much enjoyed! The rooms were also okay, but it is certainly no luxury resort, wanted we also not. We had full board and were very satisfied. When we were there had it guests in all age groups. Many Switzerland and Germany, all very sweet. read more

    It does not have very much selection, but it was always fine cooked. It was partly typical of the country also theme nights (chinese and indian etc.) it was clean, pleasant and everyone could decide for himself, if he his allocated waiter a tip like love attention.

    Everything was perfect. Mostly English spoken, German speaking travel guide was always on the island. We didn't have any complaints, were all spoiled and always with friendliness served.

    To the beach we had a few steps everything else was not important to us. Male is a bit more than an hour away. Excursions as it is on the Maldives are low. Diving you can but and snorkeling! This is worthwhile really.

Helengeli is a beautiful place for a relaxing vacation. Everything worked, everything is operating together. Pure barefoot island is well maintained and kept clean. The guests come from European room, no 'Chi Chi' guests, multicolored mixed from the ages- Helengeli is for everyone the simplicity and no luxury searches. The decor is only disappointed, who too much expected. read more

    Modest, practical room. If you don't want to use the wow factor sets, the will love it. The only alone bungalow the most beautiful at the end of the island the location was top, beautiful Wooden terrace in front of the bungalow with sun loungers, but two small Cons: no open and way too small ended bathroom for the size of bungalow and the door is simply always in the way ☺, the bed stands on the upper floor under the roof and it has no ceiling fan-fall asleep without air conditioning only if you in the sauna sleep. the bungalows have less capacity, but that is totally enough and the open bathrooms are typically Maldivian. I would clear a bungalow on the west side prefer, East is surrounded by dense vegetation and has no really accessible beach. kettle liked it in the room - teabag carry, cheap and fine alternative to the daily water Purchase.

    Restaurant is comfortable with sandy floor, food is good, the selection is not enormous, but something finds to everyone that he likes. The fish selection could I varied -the Reeffisch was almost every evening on the program. There little variety good. With Pasta, meat, salad will industrious changed. The weekly ( as long as it the weather permits) held dinner on the beach was the highlight and we have twice additional a table at the beach leave- really beautiful and fair all nights will be charged. the bar is a little large for the number guests and too bright. The pool table and the Diversnight on Wednesday are the two magnets -otherwise rather modest busy.

    Pool I don't need in the Maldives-but nice it looks and especially from the families used. Also there is however everything was quiet and the noise level pleasant. diving good organized, diving guides I rather than rogue the team. Many of the divers on Helengeli are often'repeat offender and know exactly how, where, what.

the best on this island is, the no choice Russian or Asian guests again, purely European audience. The Island is in Swiss hand, guests mainly from Switzerland, Sweden, Norway, Germany. Price-performance considering the 3.5 stars actually weak, since for Eurokunden but quite expensive. Because of the good exchange rate to the franc very simple audience from Switzerland there, rather atypical guests for the Maldives read more

    All the bungalows are near the beach with sun loungers. Shade and sun is guarantee! You can go shopping in a shop-the really coerced! There is no bahnhofstrasse Zürich! It was a very relaxing vacation on a quiet island without large luxury. The whole time we needed no shoes, nice barefoot island in the middle of the nature. Informal Atmosphere, casual clothes possible. You need no cash support, receipts are to sign and at the end of the trip can be paid. Prices of the drinks were very moderate (mine Kevin lax for American dollar 3.80). At the end we had no mosquitoes November, which was very pleasant. Rooms are very basic and sparse equipped. Bed sheets are changed every two days, even every day on request. Bathroom ... twice cleaned daily. For snorkeling and diving it is a paradise, lots of fishes in all colors and sizes. The nearby riff but it was not yet completely relaxed. Each bungalow has it's own beach chairs on the beach. According to the bungalows is one alone on the beach, very pleasant. Compared to other islands it is more like a 3-star island. read more

If you want luxury, you're on this island isn't the place for you. Simple rooms but it was always very clean, staff very friendly and not pushy. Food: not a lot of choice, but really therefor (hot) super fine food. Ideal place for snorkeling, a lot of big fish have seen: sharks, turtles, rays, dolphins...) sometimes quite strong currents! Only for bathing rather bad, since the reef quite close to the beach. Lot of Swiss on the island. Fortunately, there were no activities or evening entertainment. Pure relaxation! read more

Helengeli is our fourth Maldives vacation been. The island has everything a a vacation in the Maldives takes. Absolute Barefoot island with maledivischem flair. No animation ( no tv), Cleanliness and the condition of the bungalows is very good. The complete staff is very friendly. The Inselmanagement and the travel guide are very helpful and present. Also the food is enough and very good. ( selection please do not with a 5 star island confuse ). The nearby riff is the most beautiful, which we have on the Maldives found. 5 meters and you're in the snorkelers-sky (sharks, turtles, moraines ..., stonefish and even a manta was at the snorkeling to see ). Only drawback perhaps the beverages, the somewhat expensive appear. And the very nice, but in our opinion gave pool. ( who needs on Indian ocean a pool?) In short: great Island with great value for money. read more

Whoever sought peace and relaxation, good food to enjoy know, friendly and helpful staff estimates, is on this paradise-like island was fantastic! The reef is very close species turtles, sharks and black great lots of colorful fish of all sizes. It is very unfortunate, however, that it always again are people, the island 'very poor' this, they should perhaps consider it carefully, where you want to spend your holiday! We will definitely come again! read more

This hotel has maxiaml two star. the only good thing there is the beach and the reef. the hotel has nothing but. So it could be strong currents and no fachkompetente. tell more than the local staff. we had and what we got only the honeymoon, was a clammy handshake the Manta travel guide. no decoration nothing?! The was a nerve! The bathrooms are open and you can very well its neighbours to hear the morning business! if you need it! The staff was not very friendly or diving competent, but has a left to their own devices! The only ... nice were the locals waiters and the compressor boy! The were very, very, very nice. the rest is arrogant to hardly beatable. a shame, because the only good thing there is the reef and its residents. read more

For divers and snorkelers to recommend! Very quiet island, thus also ideal to relax. Unfortunately, for each type of trip log on at least six people, so almost no excursions were come... Transfer with seaplane is very recommendable (fantastic view) to! Reef is great... Sea turtles, reef sharks, Moray eels, countless colorful fish... A paradise for snorkelers, but on the sometimes strong currents make sure! read more

If you want a charming island no-frills, is here exactly correct. It is everything, what you need for a relaxing holiday for snorkeling. After twelve years times have we us on Helengeli divas abstinence felt very comfortable. All providers psot reviews here we cannot confirm. Two comments are allowed. If you have a sensitive back has, is with the quality of the bedding not satisfied be (at least ours were in paragraph 46 very saggy). And if you're sensitive very sound is, the ear plug should carry forward from the Airtaxi. Since it is to double bungalows, a certain consideration ... is to be recommended in respect of its neighbours. These two points are all pluses outweighed by.
