Our room was on the first floor with a balcony unddirekten view to the beach. The size was completely sufficient. There was a easy to use safe (included), a stocked minibar, a flat-screen tv (but only in oceanfront rooms), telephone coffee maker and a king-size bed, and, of course, closets. With the cleaning we were very satisfied (tip do not forget!).

The food has us every day tasty. Every day there were some 'standards', on the you always can build: freshly fried steaks from pork (including kasslersteaks ) and chicken, the fish, potatoes (very often kortoffelpürree ), hot dogs, hamburgers to put together, bread, salad, minutes 3 types of pasta with different sauces. Furthermore vary the other offers : sometimes more asian, italian or more mexican. Of the 6 à la carte restaurants were not all on. We visited the steak house and were satisfied. As regards the cleanliness there was nothing to complain about.

The staff's hospitality is generally good. The check in left much to be desired (much too long waiting time). In the hotel english is spoken. There is at the front desk also staff, who speak german. A badge with the flags of the countries, their language the owner speaks, clarifies the guest on. But we were never so often from the staff in the restaurants asked, whether we speak spanish. With the room cleaning we were very satisfied. The daily tip on the pillow supports the very. The notedly warmth, the previous stays in this hotel experienced, is however somewhat lost. It is our opinion that, that ' sandos' with the hotelübernahme 2006 at service and security saved. For example, drudge the waitresses in the evening on the hotelplaza, where all evening meetings take place, almost dead, without to 2 in far more than 100 guests to create. The same goes for the two bartender (where frühher minutes five working).

We had a room 'oceanfront' booked. The room was condition, comfort and cleanliness completely fine and met our expectations. The universe inclusive achievements regarding food and drinks were regarding the food was very good, on a drink good. However the drinks at the bar also in the evening only in plastic cups without any accessories (for example with cocktails) were offered-not even 2 star. At the beginning of our stay was the largest number of guests from argentines; later americans but also more and more german.

The hotel is in the hotel zone of Playa del Carmen, as the last in the order (but definitely not in the valency!). To paya del Carmen one takes best a taxi (fixed price!). In the hotel zone is a small shopping centre not far from (nice walk in the evening). In the hotel there is a larger shop for almost everything and a jewelry shop. The 'old' hotel (sandos playacar beach) bay, is located close to the beach or right next to beach (oceanfront). The hacienda, or the 'new' hotel (Riviera) bay, has a considerable distance within the hotel distances (500 to 600 meters per direction). In this way past the building site for a further hacienda, the for a timeshare company (royal-club) be established. This area is by bauzäune hidden.

Rooms see hotel general. On one of our last days on the rooms this water dispenser installed. This seems to the environment of the hotel convenient to, because the hotel try little plastic waste to produce. Before the installation of the water dispenser there were 0.5 liter bottles of water in the hotel.

Restaurants were abundant. The main restaurant was for breakfast and lunch ok. For dinner we have tried to avoid. One had to say, the southern lifestyle that anyway not hot food, but the food was often cold, even if it is precisely from of the kitchen came. Change was abundant. Which is great, is the freshly zubereitende beach in the middle. There are meat and fish and pasta freshly browned. The always tasted good and was hot. The pasta you can always fresh vegetables and a sauce choice. Fresh parmesam there was also. Better were the specialty restaurants. There is here the french, italian, brazilian, argentine, japanese and mexican. The japanese we did not try out. The argentine was not at all our case. Despite mediumbestellung a steak, the roasted and it was also a sole and perfectly dry. A steak was even below angebraten and the beautiful side up on the plate. The frenchman is only for adults. Here the atmosphere was also a bit upscale. Here it was very delicious. The brazilian (rodizio) was great. The mexican was very good. Add, that all restaurants à la carte menu, except for the italian. For the restaurants you have a table at the meeting point reserve. Here there was never any problems. Two weeks in the select club had four 8 times food à la carte restaurant including.

All the staff are extremely friendly and try to fulfill every wish. Fremdsprachenkenntnisse are actually only in english. Otherwise, it is highly recommended a few words to know how to speak some spanish. German has not helped. (except for the rep)

The sport and activity program was varied and it was something for every taste offered. Unfortunately was only not always everything after the plan instead, but sometimes at other times. The entertainment in the evening was also very nice. Every evening another show was offered. Unfortunately after a week the programme repeatedly. The beach was great. A white beach without stones i have never seen. The sea was really turquoise blue and really warm. The pool on the other hand, however, was very cold. Since one could not dirn stop. But that was maybe due to the fact, that it is only the beginning of the season was. Beach chairs at the beach and at the pool and umbrellas were always abundant.

The hotel complex alone is huge. We had a room in the rear and up-to-date area (select club only for adults over 21 years). So was the way to the beach the furthest and took good 10 minutes, what however not bad we found, so you had daily sports program inclusive ☺ The rooms were really huge (perceived palace) and super nice. Included were, of course, all meals and drinks, the sports program and free wi-fi in the meeting of point or at the front desk. On the rooms unfortunately, there was no wi-fi. As guest structure, i can say, that during our travels many argentine and americans in the hotel that much. German, about ten have been: o but it didn't bother us, since we anyway rather the vacation together and not the knowledge with other at top priority. Average age was about 35 years. Also many families with children.

To the airport took the shuttle about 1 hour. The next town is about 45 minutes on foot far away. So better cheap with the taxi or the bikes in the hotel borrow, the also all-inclusive ☺ Shopping or bars in the evening, visit, is not possible, because it something like nightlife not there. There it is rather the hotel rely on. The distance for excursions was okay. Have chitzen itza, Tulum and the siaan can Jeep Tour made. For this excursions lag the hotel literally in the middle.

The rooms were huge and very well furnished. Small stains, but not disturbing. It is likely that 'our' rooms soon to be renovated... A broken lamp was however within our stay not repaired, there was probably a larger broken already in the inlet?!

For any taste here is something for everyone. Especially the specialty restaurants are recommendable. But you should be 8., where you can sit. This is unfortunately not in the specialty restaurants, because there is necessarily placed is. Partly one had a train station atmosphere, because the rooms big and not divided. However, if you are on the edge too, goes the large restaurant excellent.

With english you got along everywhere, except for the maids, further. Everybody was very friendly and in a good mood. It makes holiday fun.

The beach is gorgeous and not fully written off hotel also easy in the liegenbeschaffung (even if you not to the popular greedy kind, before the rise at the beach slipped beach chairs were reserved!). In the 2. week it was significantly full, with the score, that one starting from 10:00 a. m. no shade in the 'family area' is. This is regrettable, because the hotel complex definitely not full and enough room at the beach would be. If you without children travels and adults-only had booked, there is more lucky. There is more space than necessary reserved. There is right again not the relationship. I have three children (11-15 years), the no noise and would also comfortable at the beach in the shade beach chairs, without at 8:00 o'clock there have to be. Entertainment is versatile and not too obtrusive. So perfect.

The area is very extensive and unfortunately while we were there in a large-scale renovation defendendo. Stayed in the pool area the toilets closed for remodeling and the established toilettenwaagen definitely not a real eye opener. The rooms were huge, we had however also 2 hacienda-suites. The cleanliness was adequate. While we were there, there were mostly south american guests were present and, of course, americans. With english you but except for the cleaning maids everywhere excellent.

There are always plenty of taxis to the fixed price is required. If you have 5 people travels, you need to have a little negotiation, since the larger taxis (usually but also only one seat more) the duplicate costs are! There is however scope, especially if colleagues with the normal taxis not listen. The excursion possibilities from the hotel were varied but way too expensive. If one the trouble makes oneself to Playa del Carmen drive (is also great by bike from the hotel), save you up to 50 $per person. The rooms are very spacious with balcony or terrace and are equipped with a tv (Deutsche Welle), coffee maker, ironing board, hairdryer, minibar (was refilled daily), save, umbrellas, shower, bathtub and double sink. The condition from our room (8233) was alright there are some signs of wear, but not worth mentioning are. The air conditioning worked well, exuded but because of the high humidity a musty smell.

There is a buffet restaurant, a mexican restaurant, a mediterranean, a french (only for adults & dress code), an italian, a brazilian, an oriental and a steakhouse restaurant, as well as various bars. Unfortunately the specially restaurants not always all open (not enough people?) For these restaurants you would on the same day a reservation make (except mex. And buffet). The service in these rest. Was good and the food also. The dishes in the buffet restaurant. Are good and actually also very varied. For breakfast there is everything, what the heart desires, several fresh fruit juice is for example of course. With the time but the program once through and monotonous. In the buffet restaurant. Loud noise from the entertainment you find at the beach and at the front pool. At the two rear pools it is quiet, and there no animation instead of. Kids club is available, we did not use it though because the communication from our child to the entertainers. The pools are clean and couches it at the beach, as well as by the pool enough. Umbrellas are enough available. Beach towels could be daily fresh by the pool or beach get (for map). Shower there at the beach and at the pools.

At the western end of the playacar quartier. The distance from the room to the beach is individually, from the farthest rooms are about 7-10 minutes on foot to the beach. We had a junior suite and we were thrilled. Air conditioning very quiet and the mini bar was stä # ndig refilled.

We had a standard room with a balcony, which very big was. It has a shower and a separate tub with jacuzzi function, air conditioning, telephone, tv, iron, safe, minibar, coffee maker. There was a sofa with coffee table and a work desk in the room. The rooms were good maintained and clean.

There were two buffet-style restaurant and various à la carte restaurants, steakhouse, brazilian, asian, french, mexican and a ­ mediterranean restaurant. On the individual restaurants, which were all good, we were the best the ­ mediterranean restaurant followed by asians and french. The ­ steakhouse was ­ ok, but the meat something to by. The brazilian was from the good food, however, the ambience not at all like it was rather like in a cafeteria. From the mexican restaurant we were completely disappointed, there was neither the atmosphere still the food well may we had on the day just bad luck, it but also no 2. to try it). In the buffet there is both for breakfast, lunch and for dinner a great variety.

The service in the hotel is ­ great, friendly accommodating staff. With english and spanish one can inform oneself well. You were served quickly, even at the beach were the beverages brought. You could also no matter what time the free room service. The mini bar also free of charge is refilled everyday. Housekeeping was okay every 3. day another hand towel animal on the bed.

The entertainment was far-ranging but not pushy whoever didn't want to join was also left alone. There was yoga, Volleyball, aqua gym, Zumba and much more. The entertainment during the day at the main pool and at the beach instead of. In the evening in the theatre or at Main Plaza. The evening entertainment was varied and there were great shows ( ­ fireshow, Disney, Michael Jackson and many more) During the day there was at the beach music or there was live music. By the pool as well as on the beach, there was enough chairs and sun screens. Towels could be at any time at the beach or at the main pool get. The beach was beautiful white, fine sand and the water crystal clear.

Great all inclusive hotel. The complex itself is relatively large and consists of several pools, bars, restaurants. It is in well-kept condition with a lot of green. The majority of of the guests came from Argentina, Canada and USA. It were but also many europeans (Italy, Holland, France, Germany and so on.).

The hotel is the last in playacar, then comes only natural Karibik beach. In the center of Playa del Carmen it was about 4 kilometer, on foot is already a decent piece, but you can with the taxi drive this costs 70 Peso (around the 5 €) or you get in the hotel a bike (one can do this free of charge daily for 3 hours borrow). In the center is the 5 ­ th avenue many restaurants, bars, purchase conditions and shops. After cancun is approximately 50 minutes, you can for 45 Peso (around the 3 €) go with the bus. The station is located on the front third of the 5 ­ th avenue. The buses are ­super comfortable. You can book excursions both directly in the place book, over its tour operator or at the beach in the hotel local suppliers. This we can really recommend! To the Maya sites in Tulum and coba you can easily take the ado bus visit is much cheaper than on a provider to book, if you want a tour guide needed, can these then also book on site.

We had really beautiful room-beachfront so direct view of the ocean. Our 'maid' has really great job very clean. However, it is time for a renovation since it was partly quite tired. Minibar, in-room safe, coffee maker, telephone, flat screen tv and balcony. Everything available.

All inclusive here was also called all inclusive... You get everything to drink... Cocktails, spirits, sparkling wine, beer and non-alcoholic cocktails, and soft drinks almost around the hour and in good quality. Theme restaurants-french very well and steak house (if one the right chef caught) also. There was even beef fillet steaks and as mentioned if the right chef gotten even on the point medium roasted. Tips expected actually none but the joy is of course very big if you here and there a bit what was. Food at the buffet good and varied- is better than this in the last few years was. Since it was often very butter and fat annoying but this is no longer the case.

Staff friendly. Except the ladies at the guest service the partly were very rude. We have specially select club booked (more peace and privacy, as well as premium alcohol and fruit in the room). Unfortunately we could nothing of the sort there. We had to 4 times after our additional services (alcohol and fruit) and every time there were another excuse. Supposedly for prior. But it wasn't there-next excuse day after arrival... Not since, on telephone yes is skilfully nothing had happened and the 4 excuse you would ask surpasses everything. Oh well then came there then also finally. Responsiveness of bell boys for pick-up in the room with luggage (when checking out) already for years a catastrophe... 1 day book at the front desk and 4 calls to designated time of departure to have, finally schleiften we our suit-cases themselves by the complex and the shuttle bus with our luggage! ! Otherwise is the staff really hard and are very friendly and nice! Drinks always quick and very rarely something was forgotten (which is everywhere things happen)

Of course, there are many entertainment possibilities for our taste way too many and way too loud! Who peace and relaxation by the pool or everywhere at the beach if you will not find! In the middle the beach is a huge platform built and as sonicated what is... Always nice for fourteen days the same cd... Rihanna and co. Not typical for the country. Simply only loud honking and restaurant. No matter where you are at the beach is there is no escape. We have all sides, and every imaginable place visited... Music everywhere... Partly as described in 2 facher implementation through the noise of the pool! Terrible! Then we had the select club finally the ultimate beach chair as' quietest ' mind... As mentioned escape does not exist. Here is on full blast it makes the nice gentleman from the kite boarding was also nor his cell phone to... So 3 compartment noise from 9 o'clock in the morning... Until 18 o'clock where we the beach left. As said we are coming since 2006... Every year it was worse but now!? This was our last holiday in sandos because i fly no 11-12 hours for me then on the Ballermann with completely drunk and screaming guests to tumble. The has no 4-5 star level! Saufwettbewerbe at the beach... We have been touched, whether we with the biersauf competition want to join us. So this is really mediocre! Constant geplärre by loudspeakers by the animation team like ui ui to try the all in the morning at 10 o'clock in party mood side, since i am a 4- star hotel a bit different! Had we not private and booked separately, we would have a change over the tour operator tried because permanent noise is really nerve swatting! If i want to do this i fly 1-3 hours to Spain to Arenal or to Ibiza.

The pool in the playacar wing should be urgently renovated (which partly during the current pool business happened... It was just a part of (for example entrance ) the water and deflated while all by the pool were carved, hammering and drilling - very pleasant). The pool bar,, as well as the toilets were also during its renovated... Chisel, hammering, circular saws all-inclusive. The garden is always well maintained... But also the tiles to the elevator and to the rooms be cleaned once. Are partly dirt and in 14 days nothing was done!

Located directly at the beach. Beautiful sandy beach with clean water. At the end kideboarding right on the hotel... Therefore the we partly quite strong wind had, were eventually the half stretch of beach with umbrellas gained... Na ja. As additional business the hotel has still the weddings discovered. Now each 2 day find. As has also no something about it. But half of the select club (see pictures ) that means the premium club where guests pay more relaxation should, was blocked and all are zusammengequescht. We will stay closer to the noise the entertainment... The room was as regards reasonable size. Around 25 to 30 meters ² including bathroom with shower and balcony. We had a room at the hacienda with a private pool for the indigenous 6 parties. The furniture was old and worn. The two french beds a little hard but ok. Except for once the free minibar was always refilled daily. Also you got plenty of water in 05 liter bottles. The cleaning of the rooms was mediocre-actually only the absolit bare minimum. Under the sink was actually the whole week not cleaned. Also remained an obviously dirty mirror not cleaned. The two the cups for the coffee maker were, were not properly cleaned and the with a large leap broken cup was not also exchanged, although several marked and to the side. The housekeeping staff spoke only spanish. Even if you regularly tip leaves changes neither cleanliness or decoration nothing. The begrüßungsdeko was very beautiful though. Which none says, you can also regularly free of charge sparkling wine or wine to the room come, if you 24 hours before logs in. For a 4 star hotel we are different rooms used to. I would say it was 3 +.

There are two main restaurant where you don't need to reserve. The larger of the two (festival) we were shocked. The atmosphere we were in a big cantina. The quality of the food there was very varying. Basically something for everyone - however if not straight freshly served, then it was mostly lukewarm to cold. We were here rather disappointed and have expected better. The smaller the main restaurant directly at the beach was regarding the atmosphere it was much more pleasant and quiet, but flew regularly 5-10 birds, which restessen of the plates pinching like eating, around, what first really funny was, afterwards but was rife and was annoying. Then there were several theme restaurants in which a reservation is necessary. This includes a steak house, which we did not pleased. The meat was more or less okay, but each of us about 12 fries-still not even tasted. Then there is a brazilian: here we went twice. The food was plentiful and good. Then there was the french restaurant, which, in dress (men long trousers and closed shoes) access should, reference only over 18. here is fancy. The food is also much better as in general. However one after eating indirectly fired... There the next guests already scheduled are. Then there is a mexican restaurant, which we unfortunately not use, as always full, since only in the evening itself at the entrance reserved-somehow stupid. The last one in which we were, was the so-called mediterranean restaurant. The food was good and the atmosphere very calm and pleasant.

The service is mostly good and the staff to 90% friendly. The cleaning of the rooms was only mediocre. However after a complaint a dirty sheet changed immediately. Tip made with the room service no difference. Our balcony door would not wear however within 1 hour after the complaint fixed. The clogged toilet with lasting pipes the flush was immediately repaired.

The beach was very nice - large and for each place. Because it the final hotel in the series is, is it in a direction to the beach and jungle. The quality of the water is wonderful, the water crystal clear and warm as bath water. The facilities we hardly used. Exclusively 4-5 times 15 minutes of internet. The entertainment at the beach, as well as by the pool (we were however always at the beach) was definitely too loud and too much. We had us more peace we could have hoped for. Was a quiet vacation within the complex and at the beach looks for is in the wrong place!

The hotel has a very large, nicely kept hotel. From the reception is it toward the beach at small two-story (the 6 rooms), substantial buildings over. Within the complex one meets aguties, iguanas, if you're lucky, also on howler monkeys. In the center the hotel there is the so-called meeting point-where you for the waiters reservations and other matters can, so you will have to not always bring to front to the front desk. From the front desk to it is about 10 minutes to the beach on foot. There is also a shuttle service, but you need not really. The average age i would guess was 35-50. some families with small children but also older people. It was a good mixture. There were almost all nationalities represented. Many argentines. The mix was pleasant.

The hotel is directly at the beach and stopped for all of the guest enough chairs and umbrellas ready. Unfortunately there are no loose umbrellas, which was further front could be established. Playacar is a private sector all local resorts and is only after a barrier at the place Playa del Carmen public. Playa del Carmen is on foot approximately 35 minutes out. With the taxi for 70 pesos one is in 5 minutes. The place would be even or in spite of the hunderfachen souvenir shops actually very cute, if the seller not all, really all approach would in the stores to entice you. It is right therefore rather a bazaar on which we somehow felt harassed. Everything was nicely meant, but simply too much and so it remained for us a unique visit.

8 restaurants - all of the finest quality with constantly changed dishes-if you didn't find anything?!

The staff is always friendly - there is no exceptions - no matter what day-and night. Our rooms were cleaned thoroughly every day and we even got daily fresh bedding. The mini bar was always refilled and the cleaning lady almost every day I some details surprised... Time, it was a towel animal, times flowers on the bed or even several times bath tub full of foam bath and rose petals... Great!

We personally chairs on the beach rather lazy rum, but those, which the bland-are here just perfect. Animation almost the whole day - no matter wether yoga, aqua gym, volleyball etc. There is always something undertake. The entertainers are however definitely not pushy-if you can't be bothered should also nothing of the sort participate. Great we found the daily changing midday program at the beach with different live band, the always about 2 hours took.

A huge hotel - however nice complicated and dschungelartig designed so that it already on the way to the beach plenty of to discover returns. We were in the back hotel area in adults select club and had therefore to to the sea good 10 minute walk-not much, but when you consider that this way on the day at least four times in progress ( room-beach-room-dinner-room) already accumulates there. First we found it very strenuous but afterwards saw there definitely again so-after all the rich the offer for eating and drinking it was our figure very good done;-) The whole resort is very clean and the staff always to this condition to hold. All inclusive of the finest quality - plenty of restaurants with all food and great service. Us no wishes are left unfulfilled.

About a tight hour by bus from Cancun away. The sandos is the final hotel in the hotel row from Playa del Carmen - thus one comes at the beach not so squeezed in before and can wonderful walks on the absolutely natural Karibik beach make. Definitely camera-there is a lot to see. Who definitely action just in the other direction. The beginning of the 5. avenue is good 3.5 kilometer simply. The shopping street was about 2a 3 kilometer long. The same naturally also again return-we personally too far to walk. We have either the free bike rent of the hotel used or with the taxi dangers (easy drive 70 pesos)-a bit to relax you on vacation;-) Auflugsmöglichkeiten there is as sand at the sea - but before definitely price comparisons - there are enormous differences in price. For the same trip to 50 Euro per person. We felt a rental car for one day borrowed and us thereby tulu, coba and akumal on our own initiative, we would all definitely recommendable. Makes animal fun and one is not to the tour operator committed. Who definitely a tour guide would like, can these in any case on site at jeweilen destination 'rent'.
