Hotel Express by Holiday Inn Montmeló^{(3 stars)}

We were to the final game in the hand ball around the Europapikal of the Cup winners. For this time the hotel was very good. The reception was always occupied, very friendly, the coworkers spoke sometimes German, always English. They could late tap beer at the bar lying next door also after return of the final game at the night still another. Near by the breakfast area lies. Area and breakfast were not anything special however for the short time sufficient. The rooms were not very largely, clean and maintained but. It was daily cleaned. In the bath there was ... roomy and beautiful bath daily new cloths. WLAN functioned outstanding. We did not use further mechanisms. The parking lots before the house were free. The hotel lies in a trade and an industrial area. It was nevertheless calm. To the journey a car is absolutely recommended. Up to the racing course is there only a few hundred meters. In week everything was final. We drove in the circle outside around. There was a guarded approach road on the opposite side. Unfortunately a racing museum is missing. With the railway we drove from Granollers to Barcelona. The simple travel cost 2.35 euro. At the station Pasewo de Gracia we stepped out and to foot to Placa de Catalunya went. From there we undertook the bus round travels. We were also immediately in the old part of town. We spent and to have us absolutely probably felt one night on the through journey in this hotel to south Spain. The hotel is also optimal for racing-inspired, since it is in the proximity of the racing course “Circuit de Catalunia”. However a room is probably not payable during racing meetings. The hotel is in a very good and clean condition. The breakfast was for the price (ÜF 56 € f. 3 persons) absolutely sufficiently. One cannot expect a breakfast of a luxury hotel in a hotel of this price category. The rooms were in a point condition, inclusive air ... conditioning system and much decay furnished. I can only recommend the hotel for Durchreisende. The hotel is not appropriate about for 20-25km outside from Barcelona in an industrial area and over the binding with public means of transport of Barcelona can I anything say. read more
