We liked it so much, that we are in the end of the trip again stayed in this hotel ate and. The location am hang, in green surroundings and nevertheless close to the town and the ambience (Freiburg) are unique. The breakfast is in the conservatory serves and was extensive. Egg dishes are freshly prepared on request. The restaurant was comfortable. There is a sun terrace with a view of the Giant mountains. read more

Nice hotel on the edge of jelenia Goras. The hotel is clean and well organised and for a one night stay to be recommended. The breakfast is very good, with lots of choice (nothing special, but everything was there and delicious). Parking at the castle with attendant, but no problems. The staff is very friendly. Compared to other hotel in the surrounding area (Stonsdorf, Lomnitz) there is no personal touch, is also not privately owned. To be recommended though! read more

Built in the end of the 19th century and used by a Hirschbacher factory owner. thoroughly renovated while maintaining the Neo-Renaissance amenities. Ca. 20 Rooms of varying sizes. Impressive the foyer with an impressive staircase, which you didn't have to use - there is a modern elevator. You can choose between bed and breakfast and half-board. For small children should it be rather boring; there are on the older guests in groups or middle-aged couples there. read more

We had a very well-appointed room at 2 . Floor. Internet (WLAN) is available throughout the hotel. The furnishings are modern in style of the extraordinary indeed.

  • Gastronomy
    6.0

There is a dining room with a terrace area and a garden terrace. Breakfast is served in the (unfortunately a bit cramped) conservatory. The menu (p. Internet) offers Polish (delicious the Sauermehlsuppe) and Mediterranean cuisine cooked to perfection and served at an unbeatable value for money. If you are a couple runs depends on the atmosphere of course what else for guests. Breakfast is served at the conservatory - unfortunately only 5 tables. These for the opulent choice actually it was a bit too small.

Service is only an expression: perfect. The staff speaks German, English, and, of course Polish.

The hotel is located on the outskirts of jelenia Gora; the old town with for example the must-see Gnadenkirche is about 30 minutes walking; the altitude is approximately 50 meters. The excursion in the Hirschbergtal (variety of castles) are by bike or by car. To get to the huge or Jizersky mountains to you will need a car (approximately 30 minutes). The hotel is located on a hill in a park, at present, this is under construction, but usable. From this park as from the terrace a fantastic view of the Schneekoppe.

We booked a studio room on 2 floors, which wasn't really nice - not up to par otherwise good standard, as well as normal rooms are not necessarily recommendable. The comfort rooms are attractively decorated. The bathroom is normal size, but in our case only with bathtub. Unfortunately the heating not warm, so it relatively cool in the room and bathroom were. Otherwise everything was tidy and clean.

  • Gastronomy

There is a very nice, although small breakfast area, although this is not sufficient, since many guests. The staff there was unfortunately a bit overwhelmed, probably because there are organizational shortcomings, for example, every cup of coffee extra from the remote kitchen in/out privileges, accordingly, it is also not refilled and unfortunately the breakfast buffet was missing sometimes bread, eggs and sausage and you had to ask for. Otherwise, it's a good choice and the quality is good. The culinary blast is the restaurant. We have rarely seen such tasty meal. The chef prepared this hotel more than lived up to the stars. Taste the presentation, quality and deserve the best recognition. The service was exemplary. The only slight grievance is a bit too large "peace" in the restaurant, which was unfortunately hardly visited by the guests, perhaps because of the slightly higher prices. Some background music would certainly the atmosphere in the otherwise wonderful room not bother you.

  • Service

Friendly staff. At the reception competent, the service staff partly not. Some had very bad or no knowledge of English, which made the communication, if you don't Polish namely, a bit difficult. But without any problem.

  • Sport & Entertainment

The "spa"-center is not really nice. The saunas not really good and the whirlpool a disaster (terrble mold smelling water ) So this area needs you maybe not.

For us, the location was very good, as we were looking for a quiet hotel. However, only Hirschbergs beautiful old town is easily accessible by car/taxi-otherwise certainly 50 minutes walk.

The four-star hotel is characterised by a lot of; first is the location in the city hirschberg ( jelenia Gora), still tucked away in the middle of a forest. Secondly, the ambience: old castle lovingly restored. Thirdly convinced the extraordinary friendliness of the staff in all areas. The quality and the preparation the food for the evening Show are finding somewhere else! The rooms are tastefully decorated, partially with real original old furniture. From our window looked directly into the mountain Schneekoppe For the use of Wellnessbereichess we had no time. We did not stop us walking and visiting this ... show and will definitely go back. A real gem! read more
