Room size was sufficient and as 3. floor also with a balcony. Number of rooms manageable. For more than 4-5 nights it will work closely with the clothes, since only 1 small closet is available. The furnishing is already a bit dated, but apart from that intact. The beds were very clean and fresh, no hair. With the cleaning the maid service however already longer not so exactly taken, i drove with finger over bettkante or counters and had the beautiful staubwuschel flushed ☺ On file at the mirror was a large dark hair. It was not to be overlooked! ... The heater in the bathroom was not checked before check-in (despite cold), as they air contained only lukewarm was, which however immediately repaired. The shower was me, but it did work and also the has been fixed. Here the hotel with 2 stars were offered, the hotel is a three stars sign, 2 are but sufficient. The soundproofing could be improved. read more

Everyone was very friendly, german, english and swiss standard. My small clues were immediately taken serious and fixed. The cleaning of the rooms after reference also certainly immediately controlled.

Sea life in front of the house, as well as the Lake Constance with all its possibilities. Excursions were also offered very many excursions. Otherwise, no entertainment... Would be too much expected.

The location is very central. 1 minute to the swiss border-walk. 4-5 minutes to the Lake Constance and the sea life. 1 minute to the center and large shopping center. Taxi rank, buses, everything is close by.

This hotel captivates with its great location, is however as already described very badly soundproofed and ageing. That's why is TRUE the value for money not quite. However it is clean and that is the most important. The breakfast was but delicious, there was even sparkling wine ;-) The staff at breakfast were was very concerned and accommodating. The check in leaves however to desire! Suitcase needs up to the third stick be dragged, will help only hesitantly offered... A shame. When prices of 180 Euro the night it should be obvious. But overall for short break absolutely sufficient! read more

To be highlighted is the very central location of the hotel. Short walk to Lake Constance, for shopping and restaurants. Free parking possibilities for hotel geäste only limited. We were lucky. Otherwise there are parking garages and locals (five per day €). I especially want to mention is the very good breakfast in the hotel, very extensive and very tasty. From salmon to radish everything was available. read more

My stay at the Hirschen Hotel was an excellent experience. The rooms are clean and pleasant. The location is perfect being a short walk to the train station, shopping, the lake and the old city. The breakfast is always fresh and has a wide variety of choices having something for everyone’s palate. The staff and ownership are always ready to help with any needs or suggestions for food and entertainment. The Hirschen is an excellent value for the affordable pricing. I would highly recommend the Hirschen hotel when visiting the Konstanz area. read more

The breakfast is great with much variety. The restaurant attached to the hotel has exellent food. Around the corner at Logans Irish bar and restaurant you can have the best hamburger and fries in Germany but make sure to sample the Schawbian food while in southern Germany the food is spectacular. You can always get good Italian food in Konstanz being so close to northern italy and the best is The Pinocchio. Many places have good Pizza too.

The Staff is very friendly and the owners are actively involved with the customers. They speak enough English so that is not an issue for foreign guests. Housekeeping does an excellent job.

You can't do better than all the possible water sports on the lake and nearby Swiss and Austrian Alps. Swimming, biking, kayaking, skiing, boating, tennis etc. The Therme which is the local swim and health resort is spectacular.

The location could not be better. The Hirschen is walking distance from the Lago Shopping, The Bodensee (Lake Konstanz) is also a short walking distance to the Swiss side of the lake in 10 or 15 minutes and enjoy the park there. The Old town is also just across the street and the Rhein river nearby with wonderful boat rides across the lake to Meersburg with the oldest castle in Germany. Napoleon the 3rds. castle is also nearby. Mainau the island in the Bodensee owned by the Swedish royal family is a short bus, bike or boat ride. The Hirschen's locaton is perfect and is a gateway to great fun. Don't miss the island of Reichenau. Three churches built before 800 and the island is a protected historical site by UNESCO.

Hotel is noisy, and sadly there was no elevator. For one or two nights due to the good location definitely recommendable. Staff are very friendly, the entire hotel is smoke permitted. read more
