We had a handicapped accessible room, this was very big and the bathroom was a dream. We had a direct view of the river and heard the whole night the sound of the water-fantastic. The staff were friendly and we could the luggages first off, since we were early. If a walk does not constitute anything, can by small gäs the castleberg after around 15 to 20 minutes away. The order of our taxis for the next day went smoothly, however with the breakfast has it not working. We had asked, whether we have at 05:15 o'clock breakfast may ..., as we at 05:45 o'clock to the airport had, then we were promised, that a small breakfast table would. Unfortunately this was not the case and the night porter was not very friendly-only 3 time ige demand we toast get. A shame-otherwise for a city trip quite decent hotel. read more

Everywhere it was dirty. Whether in the elevator, in our two rooms or in the bathroom. In the hallways smells. Right next to the front desk staff is so unqualifiziertem with some kind of bar in the cafeteria - stalk, where it was the breakfast. The room capicity with the hotel's laid out for some coaches, not so bad that breakfast buffet. It lack of dishes. napkins and cups later provided. The staff acted here mostly control of the Breakfest Vouger. From the shower in the bath very little water and finally ran out. read more

A hand-/bath towel for 2 people, water runs as thin trail from the tap, covered springs the mattress bite in the back, windows with rope secure - impossible air (no air conditioning), dust and dirt in every corner, whether bath or room, no satellite TV. Breakfast: only coffemaker broken, crockery, cutlery, tables dirty and messy. Personel irritated. Check-in time was from 3:00 pm. 30 minute walk to City. Conclusion: never again! read more

Please note, that we have to I arrived late at night and was on these stayed one night. What the linen or quality of the room cleaning, so we can't say much about them. Our room was clean and fresh towels were available. There was also a proper double bed. Water heater with tea/coffee etc. as well as TV available. Room and bathroom are very spacious and look but a bit bare, what the obviously handicapped (wheelchair )gerechten decor is due. The bathroom has a shower. The staff was courteous, foreign languages we did not want to availability, but it ... was easy to communicate in English; -) The (continental) breakfast consisted of felt total Kellogs-assortment, toast, jams, milk, there were also juices. I can't say anything about the scottish breakfast, because we did not eat. A bit of a hassle was that the breakfast room - high packed was the noise level. Besides, the hotel was very quiet, as a little out of the center (approx. 15-20 minutes walk to the Princess Street). Overall, we were pleased. The price of about 50 GBP for the double room (breakfast 7.50 per person extra) is also in order for a hotel in Edinburgh. read more

Transportation is pretty bad. In Google Street view is a bus stop right in front of the hotel. This was but only by a Regionalbuslinie driven for the day pass the city buses. The bathroom was missing, flush the toilet brush was very bad and the towels were not changed regularly and were partly had holes in them. The room decor is very spartan and the whole hotel makes a touch shabby. read more

This hotel was for us the last! The front desk the fluent in the restaurant area about it was worse than "cafeteria level" room (and I don't want to our Mensas here there is no theme or taste! ) and with the internet pictures looked fine absolutely not to compare, I don't know if any construction here during that time, but we had to enter the hotel from Hof, as the main entrance from the street was not accessible at that time. The parking is tight and the room was more than minimalist, the placed sofa bed so dirty with ... stains, so I honestly I have saved the mattress out of the bed, where you could feel way almost every spring, closer to be viewed, otherwise I would probably screaming run out. From the verschmierten mirror and total blind windows apart. The breakfast was adequate, although the staff with 8 guests also appeared overworked was, as the small bowls with bacon and eggs were already after 6 guests and the refilling empty took time wait 20 minutes. The young you from the clear away zone or/and Auffülldienst seemed fairly indifferent, the lady at the front desk was friendly read more

May 2010 . 4 days Edinburgh at the Travelodge West End. Relatively good city hotel with restrictions Due. Cleanliness, friendliness and size of the rooms were better than expected. However, if you are very plush-top mattress, full english breakfast and low water pressure (shower) setting. Definitely take a room to the river order - the street side is quite noisy. But other than that by price/ Leitungsvergleich and good location - about 20 minutes. walk to center and castle thoroughly recommended. read more

The hotel makes a very bad impression on us. The room was ok in size. The cleanliness is disastrous. I've had in a long time vaccumed. During our stay. Apart from the dust. For 2 people there were 1 bath towel and 1 towel. Only be switched on explicit reference. There was no toilet paper you had to get them ourselves. We have never experienced the worldwide. The breakfast consisted of scrambled eggs, bacon, beans, tomato sauce, mushrooms and sausages. That's okay, but the containers were so small on a line. But it was the staff didn't care. Then there ... was toast, jams, coffee and tea. The cups but you should rather alone flush. They stood in old water. The same applies for the cutlery. Most guests came from the UK. read more
