Already at the reception we felt a management front desk, free after the motto: please not too much questions! Since our English is limited, we had to here and there requests, one had not the impression, this wsillkommen was. The breakfast was good, the outdoor area also, but the style and particularly the facilities the room: everything had the charm past years. We stayed for 3 days in this hotel. It is quite getting old, notices one at first glance. Nevertheless is hard given, especially in the room. The beds were huge and comfortable and nicely decorated. our room was located in the direction street and it was very loud, especially you can hear the horns of the cars the whole night. we found the location to be very good. It's right next to the sea and by a wonderful Beachwalk on a wooden jetty you can reach in about 30 minutes hike the ocean drive. We are 2a 3 time there ... run, it is really nice, you can moves a little and you get to see much. There were extremely many runners the morning and evenings there along jogging. On ocean drive it was also shopping and breakfast options. Of course you could also the street along and there are several shops and restaurants. by the way very recommendable in the hotel Marriot court Yard, only few minutes on foot the hotel holiday Inn there is a super good restaurant: the Italian grill, great good! the restaurant in the hotel we didn't use. You have I believe breakfast for 18 dollars in addition can book, but since one comes outside of the hotel a lot cheaper to a breakfast. Evenings we were always outside. if you are looking for a beach vacation plans, which should take a other hotel. The hotel pool is quite small and, apart from a pool there was nothing. I think there is still a hotel own beach section, the but we didn't used. Incidentally, it gives it directly vis ã vis from the hotel was a car rental (Alamo), which we can highly recommend. We had the 3 day car for 115 dollars rented and the Everglades dangers. Has immaculate and perfectly uncomplicated folded. Generally Miami beach a very expensive. Thus also applies to this hotel - overpriced! It is an older building, which was renovated. You can start your day with their American Breakfast which is fantastic! - Lots of fresh fruit - ripe pineapples, melons & grapes and a friendly smile from Chiara, Maria, Oscar, Katalin etc. This hotel is situated in a "quieter" "safe" part of Miami Beach; away from the hustle & bustle of Ocean Drive, The Art Deco District of Miami. However, the area doesn't lack flair or facilities with Shawn's jet skis & sun beds on the other side of the boardwalk. Many famous hotels are in this vicinity which draws many celebrities ... to this area. Deco Drive, Lincoln Road, Espanola Way etc are all only a short taxi drive away for shopping, dining or partying or, if you prefer, you can also stroll along the boardwalk to these areas. Directly located on Miami Beach, we stayed in one of Holiday Inn's Ocean Front View Rooms which is just amazing! The rooms (& bathroom) are spacious, modern & clean. Helpful bellmen, competent and accommodating front-desk staff, as well as, friendly restaurant and bar staff made our stay really enjoyable. If you want some "action", Deco Drive, Espanola Way, Lincoln Road etc are all only a short taxi drive away or, if you prefer, you can also stroll along the boardwalk to these areas. Once there, you can either indulge in shopping, dining or partying or just simply relax and watch ... the world go by on Lincoln Road! read more

The hotel is for a (short -) stay with car recommendable. We have the reasonably priced Valet parking for the 3 nights taken into account, since we didn't parking looking and rental car well good to know. The check-in was slow, waiting time too long. read more

Location right on the boardwalk in Miami to South beach is a good corner to walk, the hotel was only without breakfast bookable. But we didn't want any more-after 18 days American breakfast is better and s directly on the lunch! As described on the beach. Beach chairs not included in the room rate. Dirty and in the hotel non-inviting! Nearby nothing for dinner neither left nor right! One goes right out and follows Collins Ave takes you to the EDEN Roc there is a Starbucks in the hotel! You don't see is however so! There we were 2010 and ... I would prefer this hotel! But since we only one and a half days we had was not worth that! So, advice: book the EDEN Roc! Fantastic-super trendy area! Great pools are heated! read more

For those relatively low price it was okay. Biggest weakness is that the bathroom, the shower is relatively weak. The service was sometimes a bit chaotic, room was partly only around 18 o'clock cleaned. At the check-out should be calculated on a parking lot, even though I was not with the car was there. read more

We spent two nights at the holiday Inn before we began our cruise to the Caribbean. On checking we were served by others. We set a limit of 250 $for two nights. On the question what the two nights cost said A. 189 $. To be sure, the price that we cannot go wrong if we asked for. A bit annoying said A. again, that the two nights 189 $would cost. At check-out we received a bill from 420 $(including taxes). A little surprised we asked for. The nice lady explained to us, that each night 189 $cost! Wow! In the Holiday Inn oceanfront, this is a great middle class hotel. It has an excellent and very well maintained facilities. We had 13 nights booked (without breakfast). Our room was a two-double bed room without a balcony (hotel does not have balconies) and had, safe, wi-fi, 40' tv and a reasonable bathroom. It was classic hotel facilities. During the whole stay was the cleanliness very positive. Bathroom, toilet, faucets were thoroughly cleaned, the room vacuumed daily and everything neatly cleared away. In the hotel were many nationalities represented. Of americans, europeans (mostly german, swiss, french guests) to latin americans. ... From singles, to couples to families with lots of children. The employees are very helpful, approachable and make for a pleasant and reibunglsoßen stay. It was our first vacation in the USA and at the beginning we had no idea, which us would expect in an american hotel. We are therefore very positively surprised and can this hotel with besstem conscience. Thanks for this great vacation. A great hotel for all! read more

The hotel is very nicely decorated and offers families everything you need. The beach was Fantastically beautiful and is also suitable for small children, as he flat abfaellt. three miles away is a nice shopping mall (Lincoln Road), which one must have seen. read more

The hotel is situated at the end of Collins street, if you walk to the ocean drive, about 25-30 minutes you should plan. By car it is very difficult to catch a parking on ocean drive to find, there is the taxi, about twelve -15 $one way or the bus about two $one way, however, you should have adequate change. The bus station direction Ocean drive is two blocks away. The valet parking is a bit pricey, 25 $a day. The breakfast could be booked on site for a fee to use, is not recommended however. All in all we enjoyed ourselves well in the hotel. After a tiring trip it was the right place to relax. Breakfast (which was to pay extra) was very good and plentiful. Only the handling of a complaint, where breakfast 1 too much had been charged, was not very competent and also led to any result. We cannot recommend this hotel. read more

For the first three days we have already booked the hotel from home. For June was the unnecessary. If you are traveling with a car, you can always find a cheaper and perhaps also better Hotel. The hotel was in good condition. Right on collins avenue. However, neither supermarket restaurants or other food options within walking reachable. Beach only separated by public pier. The beach was very clean. Pool area well maintained. In the room the air conditioner was very strongly to be heard. No Closet! By the pool a nice gentleman was a leaf blower senseless Leaves from right to left her and three hours noise made during the holiday-makers around the pool area. Why? The hotel is located on collins avenue 43St. The typical tourist area with the busy ocean's drive and many souvenir shops is situated in the 17th street to fifth st, so it was a bit away. By bus however, you can for only 2 $quickly in this area. Therefore, it is however also nice and quiet. The aventura mall with many different stores is by bus in about 40 minutes reachable (also only 2 $per person) The hotel was nice and big, the pool and beach but not crowded, there was no war of the beach chairs! The air conditioning ... in the lobby was unfortunately much too cold switched on. We stayed for four nights after a cruise at the holiday inn. Last year we were also already in two holiday inn in florida (miami downtown, orlando airport). As last year, everything was clean and well maintained. The room rate was for May ok. We found the breakfast too expensive (16 $per person). But it was very good and there was a large breakfast buffet. Also the parking is too expensive. We had a rental car and it nearby the hotel park was bad, we had to take the valet parking from the hotel use. Just opposite the hotel had ... a parking garage. The 25 $a day, plus tip proud for those Driver. You could then the car as often as you wanted parking and. Each time a tip for those Driver. That is, as everywhere in america, many take a dollar bill. Besides, the hotel was great. To the seafront one runs about 40 minutes. To lincoln road or ocean drive. But there is nearby the hotel also a borrowing bicycle station. There one can drive with the bicycle and, for example, on ocean drive in another station again.
