An outdated hotel, however the complex is quite nicely decorated. Room normally furnished. If you german standard expectations must look for another hotel. But since one only for staying the night into the room goes, it is adequate. It was for dom. Republic of standards, very clean. Safe well could easily be better, daily 3 Dollar to demand i think quite exaggerated. Food was adequate, but the sausage and cheese section would be a change was quite good. Disappointing was the fruit, there was the fruit in Cuba and nwal far from larger. There are many older people, but also ... young tourists you meet there. Wifi is available costs but also money 10 Dollar on the day or 25 Dollar the week, should free standard. All-inclusive was good, have always quickly the beverages get, staff was the largest part of very friendly. read more

    Room was for the purpose of ok, it was important that it was clean. It is stop of everything already old and worn, but we are only for sleeping in the room. There are rooms the loungers very inconvenient (very loud) but had only once asked, whether a quiet room would be possible and the desire is fulfilled, i think that is only possible if it wasn't busy. Safety deposit box 3 Dollar daily is just too much requires. Particularly safe does this not enough. Wi-fi should simply be free of charge, is, in my ever last visited hotels in other countries always been the case.

    Friendliness of the staff is quite good. I could not complain, my drinks at the bar even without giving any tip quickly. But everyone is now even his own experience. English many by the staff. Room cleaning was okay. Travel agent on site is incompetent, should my satisfactory consider this time to replace. I have no problems had, but the had was this person not helped. It is very crucial, tourists are all to blame, it is socially not convenient. Was i personally in the vorstellungsrunde unattractive but as mentioned i had luckily no problems on-site.

    The location of the hotel to the beach and to the center is very good, one goes out of the door and is located at the beach, also the center is 3 minutes away. There is no public transportation, at the beach are the whole day beach vendors on the way, some find it annoying but they tried only to earn money, is on every itself, whether you like it or not. You could easily bargain, but i have to say, if you are looking for a trip in the capital, power can be more money for purchases save. There is a airport nearby, but depending on the airline and flugtag you booked, can also the directions to the airport up to 3 hours take.

    Rooms and balcony very spacious with for instance comfortable schaukelsessel. Great, peaceful sea view. Facilities, soil and the bathtub partly very dated but clean. Refrigerator in a very bad condition. In-room safe cost 3 $/ day + 50 $deposit.

    The hotel has directly at the beach; airport about 15 minutes by car-taxi cost 25 $. Beach : chairs are enough, the shaded spots to midday a bit tight. Into the sea can one far clean-go, is very flat. Beach vendors coming and going nonstop, from boiled eggs on the beach articles until painted pictures sells everything. They did not disturb me, they have ' no gracias' understood.

The hotel is outdated which you could clearly noticed. Service and friendliness of the staff varies between indifferent to friendly. The selection of food was for the category alright, came but unfortunately rarely over the status of lukewarm also. Really weak, the choice in fruits was for breakfast. The plastikbestuhlung in the buffet is certainly not to everybody's taste and the constantly recurring lack of essential utensils requires a now and then already somewhat passibility from. Quantity and taste a drink move at the lower limit of the ertragbaren, what one with a all inclusive hotel this price range however ... also not expect can. Positively mentioned should be the drinking water dispensers (chilled) in the hallways, as well as the free wi-fi. The beach was roughly kept clean and the view of the container port are all well aware of the driving. Hands away from the Don Juan in Boca Chica, sex tourism without limits, locals go there and from, the tramps and rent boy sat with at the table at mealtimes, thefts are on the agenda, we were the safe in the room emptied, everything, money jewelry papers even the air tickets, from the hotel no help, were so put that we ourselves have, on this evening, in 4 rooms burglarized. Should already several times happened. After almost 24 hours prior we got a room, the completely worn out. In the bathroom were huge cockroaches, as my wife and my son the next days not believe, into the bathroom to go, without that i had checked and the existing cockroaches hit have. The room corresponded to the beach a youth hostel 30 years ago. For every meal time there was enough cutlery, it was even the other hotelbewohnern mutually of the tables were taken! Almost every warm meal was lukewarm to cold! The bread was almost always old and hard, once even moldy! The cook at ... the grill was completely desireless and gene ffs, if one a frühstücksomelett wanted to order. There were the ingredients just on the hot plate one applauded and finished so after the motto: take and eat or hungere. For breakfast began the fight for the dishes and the coffee cups, coffee was only after repeated request of the service, the otherwise very sluggish and indifferent were. Lots of guests worried even, and picked up or attempted at the automat coffee to get. My face, bad as many write, exactly like the fight for the beach chairs. Typical german. The chairs at the beach were totally worn out, and the few, the more or less intact were, were from 5 o'clock in the morning with towels manned! The beach is okay, apart from the many sellers. But there are worse things. The hotel is really for the undemanding, as well, as many on the internet the last 2 months have described. If you until lunch sleep, and then at the bar vollaufen leaves, for the like it is what, but for families and vacationers with a little standard and level-no!     Location as mentioned direct at the sea, ummittelbare location to the center but you can pinch as is the purest rip-off high three as i have never experienced something like that and i was already 34 countries on the way even in countries still poorer were for party people absolutely suitable restaurants there is a quantity but i didn't use it just rip-off, 5 minutes walk a bus stop where you cheap in the neighboring towns can drive what i did and a bus santo domingo

Were to the 3. and last time in Don Juan beach resort. The hotel has itself since 2011 very deteriorated. If it continues to run, it is within a very short time a sleazy where the prostitutes check-in and check-out can. Partly these already from the hotel welcoming. Burglaries and thefts are on the agenda (we also met). Partly without burglary track, one wonders, whether the staff not with is involved. Support you get no, no from the side of the hotel nor from the travel agent (from schauinsland). On the contrary, the security manager is the fun and laughs ... it. All in all it was a relaxing great vacation, who more would like must dig deeper into your pockets.     Rooms are relatively large with a balcony, air conditioning, fan, tv (never). So everything you need. Some rooms have no windows, only blinds from wood. All the noises are then 1 to 1 in the room to hear. Also small mosquitoes are at night then there. Conclusion rooms from super to disaster available. A change is however problem-free possible. (i have also changed, then was it okay.)

    Big plus is the directly at the beach. Also the complex itself is very nice. If you the hotel out you are right in the town with supermarket, pharmacy, bank, many restaurants and discotheques. Also in the evening/night are it in the place safe. Santo domingo is with ' bus ' approximately 30 minutes away. Stops in front of the hotel. Unfortunately most of the tour operator only landing in Punta Cana at, the transfer takes about 3 hours (transfer of santo domingo only 30 minutes) The prices are naturally touristically, but still relatively inexpensive. Unfortunately this hotel across the street from two years ago to the disadvantage. In the morning there are no freshly squeezed juices more and the evening buffet was also reduced. Our room was always tiptop clean and the staff was very nice (by the way even without giving any tip). Bad but the many zimmerdiebstähle, which we luckily spared. The guests were probably half german, 40% were french canadians and the rest other. The average age will be around the 60 have been. The hotel looks worn. Wi-fi is available for 10 $/ day and computer access for 4 $/ hour. read more

    We had with schauinsland a junior suite with a view of the sea booked (cost for 2 persons/3 weeks 600 €surcharge). We were given two totally run-down rooms with a small, triangular balcony from which we through trees through some distance the sea could tell. On demand it turned out that the 'ocean view' called. The next day we are 2 times moved and were then in a einraumappartement with a beautiful ocean view. However, there was no fridge, no coffee maker and no separate living room. But in the evening a a hell of a noise on the stage and then by the discogästen. The rooms to the inner courtyard were quite sad. Description 'a chair balcony with prospect in the stairwell'. If the the standard rooms are, you should not do.

    At the 2 small pools and at the beach there were in the peak season from 8:00 a. m. no chairs. Places in the shade were already around! 6:00 hours! Manned. Not once, but always. Reading was on the beach chairs hard, as they do not adjust were.     The fun mile was directly next to it. However, the 'mile' only about 200 meters long. At the beach one was left after about 300 from the security of a other hotels stopped and to the right was after about 600 meters away from the Marina end. The view was to a good part from a industriehafen with refinery. The beach is quite wide. The water quite slowly deeper up to a maximum of 1.50 metres. After 300 meters is a dead reef the waves it. Ergo you can hear at the beach no waves. All in all, ideal for non-swimmers. We are like most guests not in santa domingo and had ever 3 hours through the no man's land drive.

I can really recommend the hotel. I would say it is perfect for young people, students and young adults. For families it is definitely not made. I would immediately go once again. The hotel is very run-down, at first i was 3 days in a ' kasernenzimmer ' without a balcony, with a view of different rooms and stairs without daylight, after repeated ask i got a lovely room with a balcony - as well as booked. It is directly at the beach from Boca Chica, at the locals as well are, whatever was very interesting. Many beach dealers, sometimes annoying, but also funny. The loungers bottom sun screen were mostly way, liegenbesitzer stood already at 3 o'clock in the morning-so you can also have a vacation. Value for money was all ... right, three stars booked, you can then also no 5 star -service expect. Unfortunately is, that evenings usually starting from 21:30 the glasses were and drinks in the plastic cup were served, the red wine was unfortunately also more often 'finnish'-then you had to on various cocktails avoid - dies of thirst is nobody. All in all it was a very interesting, relaxing vacation, the staff were too many nice and friendly, although definitely not quick. It should perhaps in the bars and restaurant always caribbean music in the background be played, that would certainly be very motivationsfördernd for the employees. read more

I am the first time alone a holiday traveller reported and had before about the hotel the reviews read, the partly very bad. But i am uneingenommen arrived and was very positively surprised! The hotel is very big, very clean and everywhere only a lot of green, the beach was directly in front of the hotel. The entertainment was great, have always entertainment both day, as well as in the evening. The staff were also very pleasant. And what i noticed and only for the hotel speaks is, that handicapped people totally involved were. The only thing i to complain ... about was the state of the room. But overall i would spend another vacation there want. I would have at least 1 week at my vacation extend can! Was really a great vacation, i didn't want to miss! read more
