Our 1. Room was direct the number 1 opposite the reception. It was tiny small and spartanic furnished (approve of chipped wood bureau, smaller several times over-painted Metalltisch= Gartentisch). The bed was a very narrow bricked base. Between bed and wall and/or window it was so narrow that one could hardly pass through. In the bath there was no shower separation, so that one could turn off hardly something, without it became wet. For four towels and two bathrobes there was only one towel rack and one - ring. Free view of the fire extinguisher behind the door (no complete opening possible), fuse box and safe. Mini bar is a normal, constantly humming kitchen refrigerator, which is covered by a small curtain. After consultation with travel line and hotel management we moved into the “master suite”. Allegedly this “the they have” would be best. For us it was a pure disappointment. We had now more place, even 2 sleep areas, but a still more simpler, partly totally cured equipment. Hardly place for unpacking, upper sections u.ä remained in the suit-case. In the bath a wash basin as largely as a toothbrush long is. The Unterschrank swollen and with a screw locked. Old, armatures hardly which can be adjusted, no attaching possibility of the showering head. To turn off no possibility in the bath something. No towel racks, only rakes. Furniture partly hundredfold over-painted. Also here the humming “refrigerator mini bar”. In addition we had to sit now also outside in “second row”, since we had to divide the terrace with the guests of the neighbouring double room. No improvement by removal. This hotel offers definitely nothing that a “Small LUXERY hotel OF the World” might become fair. Price achievement relationship is not correct at all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A restaurant does not have the hotel. One can order or at the pool to itself take some little things (very expensive) on the room. Once we ordered a Mojito, which about 15 at the pool - 20 min. on itself let wait. Also long control rooms was not necessarily worthwhile oneself, so that we did without further orders. As mentioned, the breakfast before the room is served. One ordered at the Vortag from 3 options (Continental, Greek, easy), muesli, egg and so on can one in addition order. The quality is not good particularly. There is always the same for example Continental Breakfast: 1 half bright and dark Aufback baguette, ever 1 small croissants with and without chocolate, 1 small cakes from sheet paste with apple zimt filling, 1 pieces of sand cakes, ever 1 Glä Erdbeer and peach jam, 1 bit butter, 1 cup of dte or coffee, 1 glass orange juice. Several times we tried, fresh fruits to ordering more peeled, small more cut, already brown become apple with sugar sauce and a few few Kiwis.

The greetings in the hotel were friendly. We came a glass sparkling wine and somewhat to the island told. In the hotel only English is spoken. The staff is nice any more and not less.

There is a small pool. About the six only couches one must argue in beautiful weather. Pool cloths are free.

The hotel “on the of skirt” has 17 housing units. The rooms and suites are of various sizes and differently equipped. Since the plant is constant, how there usual, with color is whitewashed, it at first sight quite cleanly and properly. The breakfast was inclusive with us. It is served each morning before or in the room, since the hotel does not have a restaurant and no breakfast area. Beside relatively many Germans also some English-speaking guests and some Asians were in the hotel.

The only great at this hotel is the breath-robbing situation at the Kraterrand. The place Imerovigli is the high-altitude at the Kraterrand and over the moving way to foot about a half hour distant from the island capital Fira. Within the hotel many quite steep stairs must be partly overcome, until one encounters the moving way and/or comes to one to a parking lot, which one a taxi order itself can. Some taverns and restaurants can in about 5 - 10 minutes to foot be attained. A trip is absolutely worthwhile itself after Oia, since this city is not as terribly routistic as Fira (here during the day four cruise ships partly break in at the same time). Also a Segeltörn by the Caldera is very beautiful, since one can admire so the island again from completely different point of view. Caution TUI of guests: Not the “romantic Segeltörn” booking pure rip-off; terribly bad meal; terrible Latin music, which was fortunately after a half hour past; too fully!!!

Standard room… A kind storage chamber… Much too expensively.

Breakfast okay, one could itself arrange it from a small selection of a bill of fare. One had to then specify and it on the respective room terrace temporally served itself. In all weather…?!?

The friendliness of the staff at the reception left to be desired much. Very unfriendly. The waiters were very nice and helpful. It is spoken only English!!

It gives a klitzekleiner pool. Cleanly however very very coldly. Beach chairs are 8 pieces of existing much too few.

Price achievement relationship is not correct absolutely! Cleanliness okay.

The situation of the hotel is GREAT ONE… That is however the only one!

The rooms are tiny small and a 1.40 meter broad bed safe for 2 adults everything else as pleasant. One could forget cleanliness. The chambermaid knew probably only “rounds” rooms. Dust was not wiped at all the whole week over. In the bathroom there was a hose and a rain shower. We could not use the latters unfortunately, since them were totally verschimmelt. “Turn UP” - service consisted of it, in the evening the light in the room switches on… From Privatsphäre one can proceed only in 4 far the down convenient rooms. With all different one sits on the terraces as real on the “presentation plate” and all 5 - 10 minutes comes one past run.

There are 2 suns here only, because the then nevertheless still supplied Lunch was moderately very good quality. That one had to temporally book in advance the breakfast, scoffs with 4 - 5 stars a hotel of each description. On no day the agreed upon time was kept. If we ordered clock for example for 10:00, it came 10:45 clock. That became completely beautifully brenzlig on one trip day or on the departure day. Thus whole 5 minutes remained for us for having breakfast! Taverns at the Kraterrand totally makes too expensive and not times well. In the place is the tavern “Anestis”, which we can really recommend. The price performance ratio is very good and the offered meals tasty perfect!

As already it mentions the unfriendlyness of the coworkers of this hotel was an insolence and/or we with a glass sparkling wine was received (which would be praise worth for itself to and), but after 10 minutes we was asked whether we would have finally drunk up… To 16 o'clock gave it to Lunch and we took the liberty on the journey day 15,40 o'clock in this connection somewhat to order. Thereupon the official rotated the eyes and came the order only with much Murren to… Only the luggage carrier earns praise, drags it the heavy luggage items the many stages nevertheless and is the only friendly official.

The pool is tiny small and icily cold. A joke are the 8 couches set up there, because is the hotel fully occupied (as with us the case), argues 36 persons about these.

We had selected this hotel, since we made world-wide already very good experiences with the “Small Luxury hotel”. This hotel schlittert however far at their concept past. We experienced so unfriendly staff still in no hotel! Cleanliness let wish also very remaining (to it more with “room”).

The situation at the Kraterrand is naturally unique. The prospect is singular! Then it already stops in addition. In order to complete the many stairs, one must be already very sportily and super fit. Besides every now and then still water (of the cleaning etc.) is in the evening then in-vibrated, so that the nocturnal way home often emerged as slide portion. In addition clearly railing is missing with the very steep and uneven stairs.

The rooms are not very large, although we a suite had gave it only 1 oblong room with about 20 M. in this living cave smell it naturally also after cave, this have me however not very much disturbed. With this large terrace it would be very meaningfully beach chairs issuing with the pool is the only couches (however only much limits).

Rather badly evaluated it does not mean that eat was bad. It was simply very very little for breakfast. 2 rolls (diameter 5 cm.), 1 pieces of butter, a portion of jam and coffee. That was BREAK nearly the Continental. There was still vitally breakfast and Greek breakfast, but that assured to me still less. The beautiful was, which is served the breakfast directly on the own room terrace.

About the staff and the service there is negative to say nothing at all. All coworkers speak well English and are very friendly. The room was always clean.

At the small pool never was I. It constantly pulled an icy wind the Kraterrand up, thus nobody used the pool. With 18 rooms there are only 4 pool couches. The pool has an extent of about 3 x of 4 meters.

The hotel “on the of skirt” in Imerovigli is as previously mentioned direct at the highest point of the island, at the Kraterrand. The prospect is not to be described breath-robbing and. It is struck directly in rock, i.e. one lives in a cave. The room has the form of a long tube. Although we booked a suite were these with no additional room equipped, before this long tube became simply a little more rock threadbare and a kind bed put. The hotel was much clean and the other guests hardly audibly.

Imerovigli is a tiny small place with 2 or 3 extremely too expensive taverns, which are not times good. To the next beach there is about 4 km. This is not to be mastered however to foot, there as mentioned Imerovigli the highest place of the island is and to 4 km. Laufstrecke still 400 elevator meters to it come. We ate only 1 time in the place, to us however all taverns regarded. Otherwise we are with the quad after Fira (4 km. removed) driven. With this quad it is to be explored simply in one day the whole island.
