The hotel is really recommendable! German one speaks not, but with english one comes through. For 5 stars the but could be. Breakfast buffet great! Cleanliness perfect! A bit more friendliness all italians not hurt. read more

Two nights stay at this hotel and it all went wrong from the beginning.
First of all the good things. Room met the expectation of a 5* Hotel. Had a Deluxe room which was ok. Only downside where the very hard pillows.
Now the rest. We waited about ten minutes at check in even though there was only one guest in front of us. All the other staff was busy with other things. When it was our turn we got to know what italian hospitality means. Nothing at all. Front staff was arrogant and snobby. That was a pattern we ... found ongoing in this hotel.
Breakfast was very unorganised on a Sunday morning had to wait for a table just to be offered a place in the corner. Did not except that place and showed a larger table to the waiter we wanted. Again we got an attitude from the staff telling us a party of two can not have a bigger table. That was when I pointed out that I was the guest and I would like to make that decision. At that stage actually a member of senior staff showed up and took care of the situation. Buffet was not refilled and staff was just not able to deal with the amount of guests.
On the evening at dinner again we had to deal with a very arrogant waiter. On the dinner one of the waiters even ran in to me and did not apologise at all. Again he ran into me, not I into him.
I could take this on and on with other things as well (last example fruit basket in our room was rotten) but its just not worth putting effort into it.
Would not recommend at all. read more

Decor and style of the hotel belong to the upper excellent.
It was great value for cleanliness put.
2 maginale comments I would have, the balcony had exactly in view height a concrete wall and the service lan-controlled lighting system is not really trivial and clearly.
But the topeindruck of the hotel not cloudy.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating.
The food in the restaurant was unfortunately somewhat overpriced, but very nicely decorated. read more

We arrived too early in the hotel and could nevertheless 3 hours early check-in, which we after flight very happy. One is within three minutes and it metro and therefore everywhere well. The hotel is very clean, well-kept and leaves nothing to be desired. The breakfast was the highlight (also for vegan everything was there). read more

The lobby of the hotel is beautiful and very impressive. The room whereas, radiated much less flair and crying for a renovation!
Up to the prices the mini bar (0.33 liter Cola for 6 €!) were the standards of a five star hotels by far not met! Internet: 9€ ( a joke nowadays) and if you get a movie on German look at you, work out here at least 14 €a... Sad!
For a backpack tour totally usable, but for a beautiful Mailand-city break not recommendable. read more

Couldn't be better. Good value for money. Breakfast buffet plentiful, and all requests are fulfilled. Staff are very friendly. 5 languages, also German. The Umbrella for the return trip we were free to leave. read more

Ideal hotel for football, shopping, sightseeing! 10 minutes footpath to the stadiums. 8 subway Stops to Duomo ( footpath hotel - subway 2 minutes). Breakfast buffet excellent! Value for money perfect! read more

The hotel is a bit older, but it has still charm and Flayr of a luxury hotel. The staff the front desk were very friendly and helpful, as well as the complete hotel staff. We were already the second time in the Melia and definitely not the last time. You can only recommend the hotel. read more

As far as everything is great!
The rooms are however a bit small, but cute.
The breakfast was international.
The lobby very comfortable included bar area.
But the front desk speak some German, but in any case all English.
The hotel is about 20 minutes with the metro the cathedral ( city center) away and the metro stop ( Lotto, red line) is also only approximately 5 minutes on foot. Tip: there is even a bus the whole night and also stops at the stop Lottery.
Otherwise, we were in the entire with the hotel & Co satisfied and would ... book here again. read more

We were over new year's Eve in Milan. The hotel is really nice, however it is rather a four-star hotel. With a five star hotel you would expect excellent cleanliness and the special something. With us was next to the window a crack in the wallpaper and the electric curtain was rather manually to use ^ ^. The air conditioning its work really more than done, as one of us with a cold came back (these had but not to cold set!). We didn't use the minibar, inexpensive drinks 200 millilitres of water 6 euros! In the restaurant one comes ... under 80- 100 euros per person not out, therefore we decided for the restaurant in the parallel street (La Nuova Tarvanella)- was very delicious! Alone so we would return to Milan drive. The hotel however, you can recommend! We will in the next but to a rather more modern hotel. read more

We have the new year 2011-2012 in this hotel experienced. The hotel looked at the arrival from the outside very good. Around the front desk and the bar on the höcht level. Although we a double room booked, we got two single beds. After we front desk we complained, we were immediately given a double room in the last floor with a view of the city of Milan. The Staff at the front desk have even German spoken and were very nice. They gave us a free wireless Internet access for a few hours. The prices we found personally too ... expensive. We paid for a 0.33 litre bottle of proud five euro at the bar. The bathroom was not always clean and with the arrival we had stains in the bathtub in the breakfast there was a large selection but the croissants and rolls were hard and not fresh. The staff were always helpful, but the quality and freshness of the food is another issue. Stayed two nights at the Melia hotel and the experienced there, but a second time we do not want to. read more

Everything is great; for our Milano-weekend 16-12-11 until 18-12-11 everything was ideal. Super traffic connections; from the next the subway station is only a stone's throw away. The strike the public transport at the time was' force majeure ' and we a little bad luck; but everything half as wild.
The hotel itself, the (deluxe) room and the service ( front desk), as well as the breakfast buffet was great thank you for the great time! ☺ read more

We were on the 31. December for 2 nights in the hotel. From the outside and the lobby it looks very good from. One goes then with a good expectation the rooms and the mean Awakening! Very poor equipped ( cloudy and bland, lifeless), partly very old furniture and quite dusty the whole.
cleanliness must be a 1 star hotel fit but that was completely not the case.
we have stayed in many hotels but this is certainly not a four star hotel... If ever a solid three star hotel! read more
