Size of the hotel in my opinion very pleasant, as the rooms nice spread and it is not simply a 'closet' is. Condition, as well as the cleanliness are very good. You can tell, that the garden very well-kept, also the rooms very clean. We had booked half board, all-inclusive but also possible. For people, which much beer or general drink alcohol is worthwhile all-inclusive but, since the alcoholic beverages expensive. Wireless internet access the front desk, by the pool, as well as at the beach always free of charge available. Guest structure was very mixed. I think from mid ... 20 to the age everything available; nationalities as well. Many french-speaking guests, a few swiss, english and russians. read more

    We had a junior prestige suite. Size and in very good condition. Wonderful bed, sufficient furniture available. Telephone, air conditioning, fan, tv, mini-bar everything available. Bathroom, toilet and shower beautifully large and very clean. We were just passing through. Our room had an outdoor shower, as well as a terrace with 2 beach chairs, and a day bed and table and chairs. A view of the garden and on the sea. Nice! Here there are in my opinion nothing to complain about!

    There is 3 restaurants. The main restaurant (buffet) and a thai restaurant, as well as the beach restaurant. Both are à la carte. A pool bar is available, as well as a main bar with live music in the evening. Quantity of the meals were sufficient; in the beach restaurant the portions rather on the border crossing to too small. Quality is different. Meat and fish are in most cases too long gebratet and are accordingly tough and dry. Likewise the food in my opinion a bit too few seasoned, especially in the morning the egg dishes. Quality is good, but just a bit pricey. Wines are all of South Africa imported. Expensive and not very tasty. In the main restaurant there was every evening a theme buffet, from asia on fisherman until in creole. There are 7 different themes. Atmosphere in the beach restaurant very pleasant, quiet and romantic. Tips are gladly taken, but not what we expected. In the main restaurant the paring very popular; either you can just around 19 hours or late-otherwise you have no chance on such a table. As i said, the prices expensive, in other words on the european level, if you are not all-inclusive. Lunch (different sandwiches) very good and tasty. Price to 20 Euro.

    Friendliness of the staff paths. There are people, the very friendly, helpful and nice, and others, who want to turn a blind eye. In my opinion you with some first of all, the 'ice cream break', then will the relationship better around some. Foreign language skills available; most can speak french and english and depending on the a few phrases in german. The room was cleaned thoroughly. Room was really very clean. There is a ' first-aid station ' in the hotel and worse things, the doctor from the hotel requested. This is good and not expensive, as we have learned. Since we had no complaints, the dealing not be assessed.

    There was a sport offer. We however only the gym use. Quite well equipped-instructor Oliver is really recommendable - he knows, what he speaks. Chairs at the beach, as well as by the pool very comfortable. At the beach are the loungers under beautiful umbrellas. Spacing pleasant between the courts; view from the 2. range of good. Showers everywhere available. Biggest fault: if you only after the breakfast the beach comes, it may well be, that all the beach chairs, respectively umbrellas were occupied. This is therefore, that lots of people the umbrellas in the morning reserve early and then only little at the beach - a great shame and for me a big annoyance. After this experience before the breakfast went and with the ' beach boys' looked, that he would lie reserved.

    Hotel lies next to beautiful beach from Le Morne. Because of the offshore riffes is the water very quiet. Distance by car to the airport about one hour, as the road conditions not always very good are. In the hotel it has a small boutique; further shopping possibilities on foot in 25-30 minutes. Excursions can from the hotel with a privattaxi be booked. Or, of course, also at the beach (dolphin trips). In the more immediate vicinity keep safe buses. Taxis can from the hotel be ordered. Night life in my opinion not available, except for the hotel bar with live music in the evening.

The hotel is very nicely located and also the rooms are in very good condition. The possibilities for recreation (diving, Tennis, water skiing) have a very good standard and very motivated staff also the musicians and parts of the beach service-unit are motivated. The majority of the staff in particular in the hotel bar and front desk are however unfortunately very badly trained (partly. Even hardly english language) which surprised and disappointed has, since we already for the 4. time on Maritius goods and the other hotels (beau rivage, sugar beach ) service on a significantly higher level to experience ... was allowed. For the discerning guests is this hotel in any case in our opinion not convenient. read more

The hotel is with its 150 rooms rather small (compare st. regis, dinarobin and le paradise next door), and therefore very comfortable. The rooms and the entire area extends over a wide beach section and thus spread also the guests everywhere and you get not at all with, that the hotel is booked. The complex is really nice, very clean and staff is constantly on the way for room service, sports, garden, bar, etc. You have the feeling more staff as guests. It is very lots of young people in the hotel, many honeymooners but also a few few families. ... Many come from France. The entire property including the room and the beach there was a free and fast wireless lan. As meal provisions were you can book half or full board, whereas the half board in our opinion absolutely sufficient is, as it is a really varied breakfast and excellent dinner (p. a. gastronomy.) read more

    The rooms are very tastefully and cozily furnished with all, that you need. There are no huge room but there is enough space. The bathrooms - no matter wether superior room or junior suite very spacious. The junior suites you have a nice shower. Every room has a kettle, a mini bar, safe, flat screen tv, air conditioning and a terrace with garden furniture. Everything is clean and 2 times a day from the housekeeping visit included towels etc. In the evening you get automatically a beautiful perfume lamp for your comfort and a moskitostecker. The you need definitely not, if you paid attention. Of course, if you with festive illuminations everything wide open, then also the mosquitoes. Generally, it is very recommendable a junior suite to book and the great view and the direct access to the beach to enjoy.

    There are 3 restaurants: the kitchen, there was breakfast and every evening another theme buffet. Nipa, a asian restaurant with very pleasant staff and an excellent chef-a real experience! (we stayed here right in advance a regular table reserved, as it not very big and always good). And the beach, which is at the end of the hotel directly at the beach (next to the boathouse). Here there is for lunch very good pizza (presupposed one has with the extensive breakfast and dinner at noon still hunger...) And in the evening steaks and co. Each at the pool there are a pool bar and the main building a bar with its adjoining Lux café. The coffee, by the way, is excellent. Have always believed, so good cafe only we... The manager is an italian restaurant, that might be the reason why... Very recommendable, whether for breakfast, at the pool bar or an afternoon coffee... If not full board had, then the price of drinks surely not the most favorable, if you for example with Thailand compares, but absolutely in the limit, which we also for 5 star holiday in Portugal, Spain, Greece etc. For beverages are charged (coffee circa 3,00 Euro/ water 1 liter circa 2,20 Euro/ beer 0,5 circa 5,00 Euro/ cocktails from 5,00 Euro/ bottle wine starting from 30,00 Euro) so i understand some of the comments here.

    The staff is very friendly and obliging. Some more - the other a little less. As it everywhere is... But all speak english (french anyway) and some also german. A few hotel staff are to be emphasized: as honeymooners or if you are an individual (romantic!) Project has, as dinner at the beach, a proposal or even wants to marry, is mannie the first contact. She took care of that, that you truly a unique experience gets. Also abi is a very friendly and attentive young man. Have we mostly for breakfast met. The guys from the boathouse, where all kinds of watersports are also all very, very nice. Dillon is a particularly fun guy, with the we lots of fun had...

    Entertainment and there was a disco (luckily) no-if you are looking for is in the wrong place here. There are 2 theme nights in the week, where mauritanian musicians and dancers and in the main bar was always live music in the evening. That was it but also already-so the absolute relaxing holiday, in which one not by annoying entertainers etc. Disturbing. The two pools are very nice designed and directly at the beach - so you can easily beach and pool hopping from a beach chair from snhl. There are couches more than enough - one must not get up early and reserve. And they are spread all nice at the pool and the beach. If you are a junior suite has, one has even a double chair directly on the own terrace where you quickly in the water is. The sport offer was large and very varied-i even in the ' all inclusive holiday ' in Turkey experienced. There is a great fitness area with all kinds of cardio and weight machines. In the morning and in the evening there is always a ' activity class' with jogging, yoga or workout, and on request also a staff trainer. The boat house at the end beach offers free trips for snorkelling and water skiing at (2 times daily). You can also kayaks, pedal-boats or small sailboats, and surfboards (rather old material, nothing for really good surfers) borrow. For a fee you could book excursions for deep sea fishing, catamaran or dolphin swim there again. Directly next to the hotel/ boat house is the kite school. There you can both as beginners hour or as advanced or freak material borrow (everything cabrinha ) and really in very good condition. Very gepäckschonend if you have your own stuff to bring. The typical wind comes from the south/south-east, which means that one ideally in the lagoon to the south of Le Morne goes-and this is also the kite spot there, no matter wether beginners or nut. The boys from the kiteschule lead you either by boat in the lagoon (about 5 minutes) or by pickup including the whole material. This is real luxury... As a starting point golfing the hotel is also super. It does not have its own golf course, but since one also in the dinarobin would be now as a hotel guest the service must be paid, is the in our opinion also no large problem. The beautiful dinarobin/le paradise golf course is right next door (about 1 kilometer). In the area there are then within around 15 to 30 drive still some other golf courses.

    The hotel you can reach from the airport in about 1 hour. It is located on the peninsula Le Morne and here is, except the hotels le paradise, dinarobin, st. regis and indian resort no village nearby. It makes but also the charm of Le Morne from. Who shopping and want to party should another region Maritius choose. For this the hotel has a lot to offer : the beach is - provided that one had a junior suite (ocean, prestige, honeymoon ) - 10 meters away. This really is a dream. The other rooms are but also just a few meters behind the junior suites. And in between are very tastefully furnished the two pools laid out. The beach is very clean and as well as without beach shoes manageable. Shoes you need only after around 50 to 70 meters if the wip begins. The advantage is the very Le Morne from a wip and the waves far outside break. So perfect to splash around and also for playing for children, without that you are always on the heranwollenden waves 8. must. Nothing for bodysurfer and surfer ☺

We had in general a wonderful stay at the Lux le Morne, but - Concerning the service in general, it is hard to evaluate as it was from good to very bad. It was depending on the personnel on duty (main bar, beach restaurant and the Kitchen, which is the main restaurant). Sometimes it was perfect in words of rapidity & friendliness and sometimes it was totaly the opposite. Not acceptable for a 5 star hotel. - Poor shopping opportunites: Unfortunately the items which the only hotel shop offered were limited in diversity (no cashmir, no little hand crafted gifts ... from the island) especially if you consider that the next town is 8km away and can only be reached by taxi. - Very nice pool areas. There was one with a pool bar - smaller one. And one without a pool bar, but a much bigger pool. Both beautiful. But I was missing some music for chilling, at least at the pool bar. We were in paradise so why not chill a bit whilst sipping a nice cocktail at the pool bar in front of a beautiful panorama with the adapted music. read more

We have a week our honeymoon in the hotel Lux and were spoiled! We really enjoyed it. Had a suite approximately 30 meters directly in front of the beach and next to the pool, great location! Food was every day themed buffet and something there for every taste. Although the hotel was fully booked this was not noticeable not at the beach yet for the food. Possibilities to do water sports definitely use is free with good advice! Internet free of charge also at the beach good connection. Very friendly and helpful staff. read more

There was the main restaurant, here you can in buffet form the food to take, then there was also a beach bar where one à-la-carte-food, as well as a 'asian restaurant' (thereof we were not so inspired), and a coffee bar (here there is also great snacks!). You can to lunch sandwiches at the beach order, these were also very gutl.

    One drives from the airport about 1 hour to the hotel. For us was the location perfect, because we just 2 weeks off and we the peace and quiet were looking for. You however no possibilities in the evening go, nearby there is no shopping possibilities, or restaurants and bars.

    We were there for 10 days in a prestigue suite. The rooms were very well equipped and were every day twice thoroughly cleaned. We had the half board and with all service very satisfied.

    Now time for me very important point. The food! There were some uncertainties regarding good or bad, too few... Love people, there are nothing to complain about, that in the main restaurant every night another issue comes up (indian/asian/oriental/fisherman/mediterranean.) Must it always typical european? The cooks each topic evening orginalgetreut nachgekocht. Could me not complaints. The offer was perhaps not huge, but it had every little and what there was tasted. The à-la-carte restaurant were also excellent, but as already said the portions were a bit too short. Well, in this case just sometimes order or even get into the main restaurant ☺.     The suites are right next to extensive beach. Purchase and exit are only via taxi (about 50 minutes drive). For young people, which in the evening also wanted to get out, stay away, unless you the infrastructure and the money is not too bad. Myself am 29 years young and was only with my mother present, but because of the beautiful strandkulisse (crystal clear water), the clear blue sky at night, the ambiente at the beach with fire & co and wochenendlichen musical program at the bar you could bear it. What in this house indisputably the highlights are the location 'in the shade of the Le Morne', the stunning spa and the beach! Really first-class resort has a really creative and beautiful pool area! The beach is although Maritius-typical narrow, but nevertheless magical! Since here the palms really also at the beach and not on the beachfront end! I personally really enjoyed it, that the rooms and suites in the individual chaletartigen buildings are, add that very harmoniously into the landschaftbild and the massive top maintained gardens a! A dream is the spa! Huge and extravagant! I have rarely experienced ... such a great spa in a resort experience! If you didn't the total relaxation there is out of this world \u263a The food was also very recommendable! Tasted, as well as the diversity and the creativity of the chef! The rooms are modern and again, but luckily not included in the modern cool style, but spray a warm feel-good atmosphere with lots of nature elements! We stayed at the Le Morne our honeymoon. It is a beautiful hotel with dreamlike Palm beach and generous garden area. Especially the setting in front of the Le Morne is breathtaking. Everything is very well maintained. The staff is extremely friendly and always helpful. The rooms are super large with beautiful terrace. We had a prestige junior suite with outdoor shower. It is wonderful if you have a morning rises and the shower across the room to the beach can see. The pool areas are very nicely arranged. We had a food all inclusive and were in after inside ... also glad this to have chosen. In the all inclusive is really everything your heart desires included. read more

We stayed in this hotel from 13 September to 25 September 2012 for our wedding ceremony and our honeymoon. The service at this hotel is one of the best we have ever had (and we have a lot of hotels in the world seen) I would recommend all inclusive as the prices of drinks and food are very high. The previous reviews besschreiben the hotel very accurate: it is a wunderherrliche complex, in really beautiful environment. The service is reliable and friendly, the rooms are tastefully decorated (superior is for a few absolutely sufficient). The beach is right on the hotel and every day cleaned, the reef at the beach is now definitely not the Bunteste, but you hit the head into the water and says, we in the aquarium, which wants a snorkelers more!? Guests are mainly English, French, German, a few Russians, including lots of young couple - everything is quiet, dignified and orderly. Leisure facilities include ... free Sailing and pedal boats, Schnorchelausfahrt, amongst others, tennis courts is available. Kids' program were offered-but children are only a few good. Where do our restrictions on the 6 suns and completely -be comfortable-can? Although we had read: 1st the small quantity of a three-course menus in the quasi -5 star -restaurant was for me as a man then a problem. We had the half board, what otherwise always sufficient. But during our two weeks there was not, as other reports, every second day ' table de hotel', but of Sunday to Thursday. Leglich Friday and saturday there were buffet, I also evenings full food. Wrong understand: everything tasted excellent, but I had to stop at enough bread ask, in order to be full. 2. the we had actually known: for a bottle of wine 40 Euro shell out and for a 0.33. Bottles beer 5 Euro does were hurt. 3. however therefor can of course the hotel nothing: July than month means, that a days including, where you don't at the beach beach chairs (clouds and rain), and that also the other days for dinner from time to time long-armed clothes is announced. 4. Real sights has the island only a few. If, then it is as Gesamt'kunstwerk' attractive, in particular the ethnic -company, in the Hindus, Muslims and Christians peaceful and are right next to eachother. read more

Had superior booked all inclusive. Room large, with beautiful bathroom and a private dressing room. But unfortunately a bit dark (if you on the ground floor is). Tip: try a room on the first floor to get. Food is amazing and in the main restaurant as a buffet offered. You can but also the Thai -restaurant or seafood to go, is however because of the variety not necessary. The staff are very hard-working and very friendly. Even the manager rotates every day rounds and speaks the guests directly at. The beach is super, also the snorkeling super, bathing shoe because ... of the coral recommendable. For kids there was a great -offer, complex therefore also suitable for families. read more

Peaceful atmosphere, beautiful garden with short paths to the beach. Room is somewhat small. The prestige suites have however a large bathroom with shower and a superb view on the Le Morne. Beach very well maintained. Sea without rocks. The 'superior' neighboring hotel Beachcomber dinarobin has a worse condition section with many rocks. Beautiful Corals on the left side of the border to the newly built St. Regis. Evenings good Musical groups. Once a week folklore. The half board was not very extensive. All inclusive is worthwhile only with early Booker discount (except: you consumed much alcohol). Lunch is however ... Variations of meat and fish ( the beach restaurant), something evenings is not the case. The beverages and lunch however exceptionally expensive. For example Lux-pasta with 4 shrimp 850 rupies, these are circa 24 Euro Mixed grill (4 little piece meat beef, pork, chicken, sausages) for 1000 RP., that means circa 28 Euro there is worthwhile ALL INCLUSIVE. read more

A all around successful week of vacation. In the hotel the arrival until the departure spoiled. Our room ( junior suite ) was very tastefully decorated and three still very spacious. The bathroom with a massive Wardrobe, as well as the spacious, with comfortable furniture equipped terrace the hit. Beach and pools are excellent-beach chairs, umbrellas or depending upon taste palm trees for shade as always to have. There is no annoying animation - the long, with palms besäumten beach everyone could be quiet place to dream find. The cocktails to the sunset are excellent. We only the buffet in ... the main restaurant used. The slogan changed every evening, altogether this is food variety good - always however with Asian/Indian/ creolischen touch. The quality was excellent. The inkludierte leisure offer is enormous - every day water skiing, snorkeling excursion, Kayak, sailing eTC. We have furthermore the offer the Tauchcenters easy diving in the hotel used, wonderful dives and we felt safe hands. In conclusion pointed out, that the hotel on of the peninsula le Morne off the beaten track from the touristy is. Who rest and relaxation looking for, is in the right place here in good hands. A final tip: right from the hotel you can find a small restaurant at the beach. To very moderate prices you can with your feet in the sand lunch snacks. read more
