At the beginning of of february were we for four nights at the Sheraton hotel on the park in Sydney.
The hotel is centrally located in the Hyde Park, the Australian museum is to be reached in five minutes, the port in about 15 minutes and the botanical garden in ten minutes.
The hotel, from the outside rather inconspicuous is in a good condition inside. A 24 hour after arrival even though we already arrived to 9:00 a.m. local time, us was offered a room, what was very relaxing. Only complaint about the room was the view on ... a wall across the street.
The room itself was quite spacious, in very good condition and very tastefully decorated, as well as the bathroom with bathtub and shower.
The bed was large and very comfortable. A very large LCD TV was also it with the usual channels.
The breakfast is excellent and breakfast was the best on our entire trip. It is simply everything, what you need for a good start into the day, even very delicious ice cream. Also the organization of the team was excellent-so no worries with long queues before the breakfast area.
The concierge was extremely friendly and helpful. No problems with it for a day of rental cars. In the morning, the car was there, in the evening simply again with the concierge-finished.
We recommend the hotel and will stay for a stay in Sydney also there again. read more

The hotel is located in a very beautiful right on the Hyde Park. Before the hotel drives the free bus to the darling harbour and circular quay. Also to foot to reach the main attractions. The breakfast was very good and the selection large. We had a room with Hyde Park view in the ninth floor. Unfortunately was still the street noise audible. The windows were unfortunately not to open. The view has fallen us but good. The room was on the TV and partially in the drawers a thick layer of dust, the also not was removed after five ... days. The bathroom was very clean and beautiful large. It was a bathtub and a separate shower stall. In the lobby was free wireless Internet available. For all without notebook was it also some PC's, the could be used. In the vicinity of the hotel are also several car rentals, where you can leave the car. read more

A very nice hotel in outstanding location in the middle of the city. From here many appointments, but also sightseeing and shopping on foot notice. The hotel is precisely this kind of tourism and fulfilled this in every aspect. The hotel is clean, the rooms are okay, the staff are normally friendly and helpful and the food ( had here only breakfast) varied, sufficient and tasty. I would this hotel definitely again go. read more

I chose the Sheraton because of its good rating in holidaycheck and in no way disappointed. Everything perfect and after a let down a stay in Canberra almost a delight. The hotel is centrally located in the Hyde park. Within a radius of about three kilometer is almost everything, which one could and should be visit in Sydney (if you have time for that). Just around the corner and you are in the Hautpteinkaufstraße and the two large department stores. I had a very inexpensive package (5 days on a bed and breakfast) at a very reasonable price. My room ... was on the 18. Floor with a great (day and night) views over the botanical garden in woolloomooloo. The room was very spacious and had a walk-in closet and a large bathroom. The room left nothing to be desired. At such hotels are steep but almost once again, the prices for the mini bar and Internet access. The Internet was for the possibility, however, in the entrance area and on the gallery to use the free Wi-Fi (though not processed). The breakfast was very rich and good. You should try, always to book a package, otherwise you pay for breakfast powerful mood. All in all, a strongly recommended Hotel. read more

We are for the first time in Sydney, Australia. It is really lovely Central, so that all attractions and are within walking distance. As the weather cooperate, we had a very nice stay.
We had a outside Gateway-room overlooking Hyde park. The rooms were cleaned thoroughly every day. The bathroom is elegant black marble. Everything was very clean, very well maintained, as was the whole hotel.
The morning breakfast was very rich and there is something for everyone for every nationality. The buffet was constantly from the staff and refilled, special requests were very friendly and easily met. Even with ... very busy lacks nothing. For lunch and dinner the restaurant we didn't use it, since we to eat out.
The health club we did it once. The pool was clean and swimming, and sunbathing on the terrace by the great views from the 22. Floor of the city.
All in all a great hotel. We can recommend it unreservedly. read more

The hotel is very attractive built. Our room (with park view) was very spacious. With sofa and a large desk. A very large built-in closet with many drawers, the connection to the very large bathroom. The bathroom is very attractive black marble. Large walk-in shower and big bathtub ... A real Badetempel. The indoor pool is on the top floor with uninterrupted views of the park and the city. read more

The hotel is in my opinion a good value for money for Sydney. Very convenient and centrally located by the Sydney-Tower. To the harbor and the Opera House is about a 15 minute walk. Most organizers offered this hotel with breakfast which is a very large price-plus, as the breakfast costs here otherwise 42 AUD per. P.. Extra. read more

For the first time in Sydney, Australia, we had this hotel - also due to a HolidayCheck rating for chose this city break. It is really lovely central, so that all attractions and are within walking distance. As the weather cooperate, we had a memorable stay. We had a outside gateway-room on the 15th floor overlooking Hyde Park. The rooms are so isolated, that is, you surprised that other stay at the hotel. The rooms were cleaned daily and little touches placed on the pillow. The bathroom is elegant black marble. Everything was very clean, very clean, as was the ... whole hotel. Laundry service we once and it worked very well. in/out privileges, in the evening was/hanging in the morning it ironed in the room. The morning breakfast was very rich and there is something for everyone for every nationality. The buffet was constantly from the staff and refilled, special requests were very friendly and fulfilled without problem. Even with very busy lacks nothing. For lunch and dinner the restaurant we didn't use it, since we to eat out. The health club we did it once. Ideally located hotel in Sydney, to walking from the Circular Quai as well as Darling Harbor easily accessible. Shopping in abundance, as well as restaurants etc. We stayed in a junior suite (1712 ) with a view of the Hyde Park including access to the club lounge on the 21 floor, there was also breakfast and from 1700 hours Apèro in the afternoon and various. Pastries and tea etc. Even for very very busy on the Saturday and Sunday problems the crew in the club lounge the service impeccable. On the 22nd floor there was a pool and a ... hot tub (might be a little bit cleaned more often) as a sauna and steam room. Lastly, the Oporto for postcards to Europe was paid by the hotel, is written anywhere. The hotel safe We will also book next time we are in Sydney. read more
