Unfortunately the double beds for a fresh loving couple not at all suitable, because the individual beds on wheels and drift with the cuddle.
Everything was ok apart from that, the staff, especially even at breakfast was very accommodating and friendly.

An old lady-it should be renovated. Tv have green. However on demand you can get a new modern tv, we found that good. The staff are very friendly and made a lot again good. read more

Nice hotel, ideal location, directly on borkum Leutturm and top beach area. Beautiful room, we will in any case again go to this hotel! Breakfast buffet good, staff very quick. Entrance area a bit dark, but this is the rest hotels again good. read more

the hotel is very nice and centrally located. The staff are always friendly and in a good mood. The breakfast buffet is more than enough. Evenings there was a 3-course menu. Here you could during the main course between meat, fish and vegetarian dishes to choose. The food was great delicious.

It was at this lovely hotel nothing to complain about. A sauna and a swimming pool we also didn't miss, as the beautiful tidal area nearby is. A special mention is also the great food. (we had half board) read more

After ferry and train worked well. We were greeted by friendly in the hotel. The hotel is very centrally located, the path to the beach and dining and shopping is only 200 meters away.! The arrangement was very good for the hotel! The breakfast buffet was very varied and plentiful. We would go there again at any time! read more

Overall, it seems the hotel has seen better days. The price/performance ratio is not right. The offered half board-dinner leaves a lot to be desired. As the very friendly waiters (Trainee) little, especially since the complaint was approved only friendly, but no consequences followed. Less than average!
The room was disappointingly small as was the bathroom.
The breakfast buffet in the usual form without highlights but also without complaints.

Already in the summer of 2010 we were for a long weekend at the upstalsboom Seehotel Borkum on. We had a package on time. de. But a few organisational defects (started with a wrong room category, problems with the refilling the breakfast up to a longer time not functioning the EC card payment) the thier Urlaubsfreuden. since it us on Borkum has fallen very good, clear was for us, that we come back. Also we wanted again to return back to upstalsboom, since it a prime location and offers a special charm. This was shown to us also because of ... the fault of the hotel owner's mismanagment Aggen over easter Mr possible. The room with a nice view to the new lighthouse, the staff was very courteous and welcoming. Also the cleanliness you must highlight positive! Especially nice was the easter decoration of the bed after the room cleaning, as well as at breakfast. The re-filling the buffet breakfast was clearly better than a year ago. All in all we experienced a wonderful easter weekend on Borkum, including the fantastic weather has also played its part. The cleanliness of the room in Seehotel we have us felt very comfortable and would not hesitate to go again. A big compliment to Mr Aggen and his team! Here you can see, that also older structure in a top condition be can. Very nice hotel for feeling well, good sense of security. This nice staff, always helpful. A central, but still quiet location-short walk to the beach and to the place. Restaurant with excellence (still)-unfortunately no selection of food. may be purchased from about 7:20. Maybe a little bit earlier or later. I had to leave the hotel to 7:15 the only Vormittagsfähre ( going as far as tracking 7:30 in winter. The know everyone on the island! ). Mine wasn't prepared for a packed lunch. The coffee would run through. The single room (incl. breakfast) from 69 euros during the low season, an absolute "no go" for this hotel!! Here is the staff sleep! CONCLUSION: Nice hotel with charming flair, but something that didn't work at all! read more
