My single room is fairly small, but perfectly adequate.There is a small balcony with a table and chair where I have wonderful views, also telephone, radio and safe.

The standard of catering is very good, with a varied buffet at breakfast and a set menu at dinner which changes and includes home-grown fresh salads and vegetables. Sometimes, the portions can be a little too large for the older guest, like myself.

Everyone is very kind and helpful. Many languages are spoken at the Reception desk. The dining room and bedrooms are spotlessly clean and any requests are dealt with promptly.

An old chalet type building with lounges overlooking the Lauterbrunnen valley and views to the Jungfrau.

The position of the hotel is about 8-10 minutes from the railway station in the centre of the village. It is a peaceful setting for a quiet, relaxing holiday. There are ample transport facilities for walkers or those who are less mobile, however the path to the village does involve some ups and downs and some elderly guests may find this difficult. The village has lovely traditional small shops e.g. bakery, souvenier shop, post office.

Absolutely first-rate.Friendly staff,always on hand to supply helpful information and advice re excursions and possible activities. Proficient in several languages..

Not far from the centre ,in peaceful location with fantastic views into the Lauterbrunnen valley and across to the Jungfrau.

I stayed in single room which was an average size for a single. The room had its own bathroom and shower as well as a cupboard, small desk and chair, lounge chair and a single bed. The condition of the room was excellent and appears to be quite newly fitted. I had access to a shared balcony with a small table and chair. The room was very clean and well maintained

You will not have a better breakfast or more traditional meal in Wengen. There is a very extensive breakfast buffet which caters for almost all. The dining room is clean and very comfortable and have a beautiful view over the mountains and front terrace gardens. The quality and presentation of the evening meals are second to none and you could be forgiven for thinking you were dining in a top restruarant! There is a small charge for tap water if ordered without any other drinks. Breakfast is included with the half board tarrif and the evening meal is an additional yet extremely reasonable price.

Staff are extremely efficient and helpful. All staff could speak English and as well as German and some spoke several other languages. Rooms were serviced daily and are extremely clean and well appointed. Staff were pleased to give local advise on daily activities, weather, suggested itinarys etc and were only to happy to assist with any other queries I might have had.

The hotel is a levely garden terrace which is the perfect place to enjoy the stunning views from the hotel. There is a heated spa as well as tv/video room, guest lounge and model railway attraction. There hotel provides extensive information on anything you could possible need during your stay from suggested activities, local weather and attractions as well as maps, timetables and brochures

The hotel is small and extremelly comfortable. It caters well for all groups/travellers and age ranges especially those looking to enjoy the real Swiss hospitality. The rooms are extremely clean and well presented and is the hotel at large.

Hotel Bellevue is located just a short walk from the main Street of Wengen. The location of Hotel gives it what can only be described as the best views in this part of Switzerland!!!! Absolutely breathtaking views which for me was a real highlight of my stay. To come back to the hotel each day and still be able to enjoy the beautiful surrounds from the comfort of my balcony.

There are single and double rooms. All are adequately furnished with telephone and safe. Most have balconies. The hotel, built in traditional Swiss style, is well maintained inside and out.

There is one main dining room which is tastefully decorated and imaculate. The food is of excellent quality and varied. A small bar is available. Wine list is extensive. During fine weather meals are sometimes served on the hotel terrace with fine views of the alps..

The staff are friendly and helpful in regard to providing information on the region. They are able to speak several lnguages. Rooms are spotless and a laundry service is provided. A doctor is resident in Wengen. We have never had occasion to complain in visiting this hotel over some 15 years.

The village provides a variety of liesure activities - swimming pool, tennis, crazy golf etc.

The Bellevue is situated on the edge of the village in quiet location. The views of the Alps from many of the rooms is second to none. There are approximately 35 rooms all of which are kept in a clean and excellent condition. There are three very comfortable lounges. Half board includes hearty breakfasts and 5 or 3 course varied dinners, including vegetarian. Most guests appear to enjoy walking in the area in summer and skiing in the winter. The age range is extensive with visitors from the UK, France, Germany, USA, etc.

The centre of the village with railway and cable car stations is about 10 minutes wallk away. There is a wide range of excursions available. The nearest large town is Interlaken which is about 40 minutes away by train.

Balconies are provided at the front of the hotel. There are no TVs or minibars but the rooms are very clean, generally quiet and have all the basic requirements such as bath/shower, hairdryer, power access. Ideal for walkers as plenty of room to store boots etc

Wonderful food. We are vegetarians and are catered for without difficulty. Five courses every night and an excellent breakfast buffet. Cannot be faulted on food

Absolutely efficient in all departments. Friendly staff make one feel welcome and owners ensure everthing is done properly. Plenty of information available

Good contact with organiser of walking tours. Ski lessons also available. No pool but there is a jacuzzi

Moderate size, about 40 rooms on 4 floors. Very clean with excellent service. Targets both skiers and general holidaymakers but not suitable for those seeking a lively apres ski. Friendly and very efficient
