The room was 'ausreichend' large, the bathroom simply unacceptable. 1,75 times 1.50 including the shower. At the exit from the tub you had to be careful, not with a leg in the toilet stood. Everything was somehow 'worn'. The breakfast was ok, everything else for the price not. I'm coming definitely not again read hotel review

The first night we had to in another hotel spend, because our room wrongly given. The replacement hotel was very good. Annoying is simply, that one with a city journey a day loses. One apologized and us a room in the 15. floor. View of the golden horn was sensational, the room but not renovated and very small. For a 5-sternehotel was the breakfast buffet rather lean. The expenditure for hot food was only one person and this was inattentive. It is reasonable value for money for this hotel not. It is way too expensive. I think, you will the ... central location is certainly less ridiculously priced than from. Because of the central location the hotel i can, tentatively recommend read hotel review

I have paid so much money for such a bad hotel. The hotel can probably only be by the location. The cleanliness in the breakfast room was very bad. The facilities and the condition of the room was in no relation to the room rate. read hotel review

A not very fresh hotel of the upscaled category that a complete renovation. The remind very many Maritim hotels in Germany: good location in Taksim Ireland standard time 'modern' in the part of Istanbul directly at the beginning of the istiklal Caddesi, and down into Pera the center the Istanbul nightlife is. Everything in the hotel was mediocre, the breakfast. The restaurants we didn't try it out, there are too many interesting alternatives nearby (360 °, Mikla.). read hotel review

We have 20 years ago in Istanbul married, of course, the 20 wanted. Anniversary there. Beautiful room, but the bathroom we found if you compare with the rooms just OK. Otherwise everything is great, it is in the middle of everything. Breakfast was super tasty. As was mentioned it our 20 year anniversary, the reception has us check out the manager asked why we it not mention (20 year). Nice guests. from the hotel super read hotel review

Yes, five Turkish Star archived

We have enjoyed the stay and would book this hotel again, but didn't include breakfast. This is our opinion with 16 EUR per person not worth the money. In a five-star superior hotel are too few fresh Food available. It is a pity, but the Turkish food often as diverse. In the direct environment of the hotel there were enough possibilities for a good breakfast. If you want American I, a Starbucks Café is integrated with in the hotel complex. The rooms are well furnished, large picture windows with very nice view over the city and everything was clean. The ... staff was nearly always 'invisible '; the daily room checks the housekeeper could experience we twice. An Open W-LAN access code is in the price. From Ataturk Airport Express bus runs (Havas) in about 40 minutes to a Taksim square. From there you are in two minutes away from the hotel. Cost ten Turkish lira per person Next to the metro & tram is the classic taxi always a good choice. The taxi driver always show, to anywhere you want to go-if a picture in the guide books. Be aware, that the driver his meter switch it on. Please note, some of them the meter in euro or USD walk! read hotel review

The hotel is located right on the main square Taxim. It is a very large hotel, overall 18 floors. In the reception area the hotel is very clean, the rooms were cleaned every day and the beds made. But in the bath black hairs. The breakfast is up - we heard a typical Turkish breakfast. There were a lot of hot items, especially many deep fried food like fries, onions, fried potatoes, ect. a PC with Internet access in the lobby area was provided. The nationalities were mixed, but mostly German and Turkish. Average age from 0 to 100. Things ... that disturbed us was the noise. read hotel review

The rooms were furnished normally (bed, night table, TV 1 . German channel ZDF). Air conditioning, minibar - overpriced - safe and telephone). The bathroom has a bathtub. The towels were changed every day. Unfortunately no bathrobes were available. Also a hair dryer in the bathroom was adequate but should bring your own. To criticize was that no socket in the bathroom was appropriate. The noise were very high in our opinion as, apart from the street noise - also heard if the guests from next door or up in the showers were. Also constantly hammering and drilling. The beds were made every day, but never be deducted. (But it was only 3 nights)

  • Gastronomy
    1.5

In the hotel itself there was a breakfast salon, a brasserie - we treated ourselves even a small cocktail - very overpriced. As already said, the food was for us a switch. It was refilled coffee on request, the tables immediately cleared and newly set. You should give tips. The hotel was a 0,5 liters bottle of water at €4.50 . It is highly recommended outside to buy drinks (1 L water 50 cents.)

  • Service
    3.0

The staff was very friendly, always for us. We could communicate with the staff in several languages, English and German was perfect. The check in was very chaotic, partly had to colleagues to wait to 1 1/2 hours. They offered us an Haman recommended, whereas you had to say that this was a very bad value for money and that we were very disappointed. But excursions or reservations were always makes for our needs. The entrance and lobby were very clean, as were the rooms were cleaned every day. The bathroom left to be desired.

  • Sport & Leisure
    3.0

There was a small swimming pool on the terrace, although it is not heated. Also is a hammam, jacuzzi and sauna available, however not as described in the catalog. Everything is very small. Which was great, the exercise room was with view over Istanbul.

The hotel is right on the Taximer main square. The public transportation is available a outside the door great available (subway, bus, taxi). The pedestrian shopping area are just around the corner, be it clothing, food, jewelry O. S. The transfer time from the airport is about 30 minutes with the usual traffic. Excursion possibilities were close by, it was a bazaar or the famous Blue Mosque. Alternatively, a subway service costs 1 Turkish lira (is 50 cents. ) The taxi prices are different and should be from the beginning can be arranged. For a taxi to a browsed bazaar we paid 50 lira (€25 ) and then back to the mosque, about 10 km from the hotel in the opposite direction we paid 12 lira (€6 ). It is recommended to use the cabs right in front of the hotel.
