We had booked the suite and had a great view to the train station. The hotel itself is very big, relatively new and in great condition. Next to the hotel is just a private underground car park, which we did not use however. read more

Maintained cities hotel in the best location, formerly astron -hotel with massive room (included small kitchen).
The hotel is located 3 minutes from main station and the city center away. It works modern and everything is clean and tidy. The staff are outgoing and friendly. The rooms consist of large living room with a small bar counter and small kitchen (microwave, small washbasin), as well as bedroom and generous bath with connecting doors to the living room and the bedroom. read more

The hotel is very central. Good connections.
The check in was good and fast, authentic friendly staff!
Our room 210 was brilliant. Great view, large room, clean bath.
However was the double bed a bit small!
The spa area was clean and pleasant for relaxing!
Massive and delicious breakfast buffet.
Really recommendable.
The check out was also professionally and fast.
Especially worth mentioning is the free sunday late -check out until 17 o'clock.
This service should generally free of charge in hotels are offered.

Was in a suite untergerbracht, never had a bar with stools in my room.
Like the standard rooms looks i can therefore not judge.
For the elevator you need the room key.

The rooms are very big and well furnished. (everything, that you need is available)
The breakfast buffet was varied and the quality was good. The service was hard working and friendly.
Highly recommend is the hotel bar, the despite the size of the hotel very personally was.
Since we on a match day in Dortmund and christmas market was, you had problem, if you a table in one of the restaurants in Dortmund reserve wanted, therefore you should better early enough around a table to care. The lady at the reception was very competent and attempted, us still one table ... to organize.
The hotel is for short stays very suitable and we would gladly come again. read more

We were to Dortmund come to the christmas market and we really enjoyed that.
The hotel is directly located next to the main railway station and the parking garage is under the hotel. A day parking cost six Euro, not expensive if you in the center a city want to park.
The reception in the hotel was friendly, room was at 11 o'clock in the morning already available.
The room is free from smell of any kind but rather warm.
The room is very large: there was a living room with two large banks and office.
Microwave and a mini ... bar were available; a safe was missing.
Bedroom was ok, the bed not too wide.
The bathroom looked like new everything spotlessly clean and spacious.
A small minus: there were both at the sink as in the shower (in the bathtub) no thermostatic tap, so you had to go with the hand cold and warm water mix.
We had booked a room including breakfast; quality was good, not over the top, and everything tasted good. At sunday one can by the way until 12:00 o'clock breakfast.
If we go back to Dortmund come, we will be back for this hotel decide.
Some reviewers write negative about this hotel. My wife and i do not understand how the can.
At the end: the hotel is ideally located if you the hotel want to go to or into town shopping want to do; no 10 minutes walk and you are already in the middle of the center. read more

Hotel very easy to reach, as central in Dortmund located. Main station and pedestrian precinct within 2 to 3 minutes on foot to reach, underground car park 6 Euro for 24 hours ( ticket you can check out at the front desk are charged). Check in / check-out were fast and uncomplicated, staff friendly.
Room oK, nice and big, with counter, 2 bar stools, small kitchenette and a separate bedroom with sliding door separated.
Only these details we are the one negative:
Breakfast leftovers and crumbs from the previous guest on the coffee table, here was so unfortunately not abraded. ...
- carpets in the rooms and hallways in charm of the early 90. Years a lot of stains
frühstücktabletts of neighboring rooms are for the whole day in the corridor around.
Sauna 17 until 22 o'clock - since we evenings a concert, we unfortunately had no time to use them.
The breakfast for 18 Euro per person we didn't use.
Altogether we were satisfied and would the hotel also again would book. read more

Room large bright and modern decorated with small counter and 2 stools. A microwave and a sink available.
View was from the front. To the rear on a closed inner courtyard( not very nice) in my opinion with the garage you must also know, the 6 €per 24 ... hours only count if you the underground car park not more left, apart from that the hour individually accounted for. If you within the 24 hours the garage left and back then, the 24 hours 6 Euro. In the smoking floors could calmly at times a window open in the corridor. Since it is extremely old smoke smelled. Although I myself am smokers! City center, as well as main station is really in 2 to 3 minutes to reach. Very central!

The nh Dortmund is a nice City Hotel, is not far of the historic part of town from Dortmund. The main train station Dortmund is 2 minutes on foot. Parking is available for a fee directly at the hotel.
The rooms are spacious, nicely furnished. Design is modern.
The breakfast rich, good and the service is very friendly.
