Have Lidl travel booked for 99 Euro 3 nights included half board, The hike with the landlord I would absolutely recommend. Friendliness of the staff and the quality of the dishes. Great the room was big with large Flat tv and balcony. The location of the hotel for hiking is excellent. Was definitely not the last time there. Many thanks the whole hotel team for the beautiful days. read more

The rooms are beautiful with massive furniture. A large flat screen tv on the wall. There is a wonderful view of the mountains and the forest. Every day is the room more than thoroughly cleaned. Anyone can eat from the ground if he wants to do. The hotel is very from the inside and the outside well maintained. Feel comfortable here all nationalities comfortable. The hotel is like austrians, british and german guests. Feel comfortable here guests of all ages welcome. read more

    I had half board. So in the morning there was a buffet where everyone found something. Fruit, sausage, cheese, eggs, ham, bacon, delicious different bread rolls, bread, jam, coffee, Latte, choco, juice, dte... I could so on to enumerate, but i have only enumerated what i had eaten. Very tasty and so rich that i the dinner nothing needed more. In the morning i from 4 sorts of dishes selected which i in the evening wanted to eat. Soup, salads and various other tasty treats there is before at the buffet. And what shall i say, delicious, delicious, delicious! This is a reason why i 6'. Stayed there. The two cooks and the staff are super. Here, austrian and german cooked. The cleanliness in the entire hotel makes naturally in front of the dining halls the lovingly decorated are not stop. Also here each time the floor to be eaten. More than clean. After eating i am always on the nice hotel bar and beer and so on. The end of the day. I am also always with delicious drinks such as swimming pool,. Nice conversations with other guests round the day off.

    The staff in the entire hotel always friendly and helpful. Of course i can't wait when i unfriendly am the opposite a leg for me ausreißt! There are certainly in every hotel a reason something to complain about, but nothing is easier than the love staff to go and quiet and relevant the problem perform. And i know that it is so fast it is resolved. Since everyone in the Gartenhotel daxer feeling well should the guest is more than a king, it will be like a friend welcome. It is always so (was the 6 time there). Therefore hike of love host Michael once a week with its guests to a cabin. Since each mitwandern, even i who prefer by car hike was already several times with. That is a wonderful experience for inexperienced not hikers.

    One time per week the non-violent, the are 2 singer with spoons and guitar the guests during dinner maintained. This is Austria! Very entertaining. I always go in the pool swim. It's not so largely however very nice and clean. Outside there is a swimming pool in the with a lot of love designed. There there is also many beach chairs, umbrellas, tables and chairs. And only the view of on the mountains and the forest. That is so nice. Sauna and steam room are recommendable. Everything was clean. Also for the little ones there was a beautiful playground.

    The hotel is located just a few steps from schmitten cable car. Ideal for hikers who like mountains mount, climbers and which i belong (as little as possible and with the aerial ropeway drive up above a little around, something to drink and with the cable car back down. The hotel is located 1000 meters high. That means Zell am See is downstairs, but my tip down slowly walking down in the numerous stores shop. With the ship on the Zeller See and take the bus back up to the schmittenhöhe. Also, a day trip to Salzburg is an experience. Or just beside Zell am See is kaprun. The reservoir visit!

    Furnished in country-house style with balcony or terrace, daily cleaning. Size with us was very ok.

    A very good minus, because: There was nothing to complain about, breakfast was very large selection and the highlight were two machine from Julius meindl, the strong, weak coffee, Cappuccino, chocolate, espresso, and Latte M. zauberten. Dinner consisted of choice of the menus (4 piece), the one in the morning met, furthermore appetizers and salad buffet and soup. Main dish and dessert was then served. Drink prices different: beer and wine ok, soft quite high. Once a week there was grill buffet and austrians evening and once a gala meals. ( the deduction: the austria. Buffet convinced us not and the gala evening was except for the staff dirndl carried not recognizable. And: in the first 4 days the hotel was overbooked due to a softwarefehlers and the outside accommodated speistem in hotel. Therefore, it was then mituner quite full and also families had to table again and again with new people sharing). - this is certainly complain about of a high standard and should not from the book off. Afterwards do these details also, that one with a likeable family business had to do!

    On the schmitten, about 4 kilometer above Zell am See. Depending on location the room wonderful view of the valley, Zell am See and the lake or the schmittenberg with aerial ropeway etc. Good location for excursions, there are by car only a few minutes until Zell am See or karpun summer card and then for example the pinzgautal. From about 8 until o'clock runs on all days of the week a bus down (half-hourly); only rare during the break the schmittenhöhenbahn. The funicular railways ( schmittenhöhenbahn, sonnalmbahn etc.) are about 2 minutes on foot away. There is parking spaces at the hotel, which was just sufficient.

Could the other reviews only agree: Nice hotel in a wonderful location, 2 kilometer to the city center from Waltersdorf ( very steep), high drink prices ( for example 0.5 liter Spezi 4.60 ), very friendly staff, great food BUT: We were one of the two dogs very annoying! At the entrance points out, that he is still young and barks. But in the morning around half 7 and at night at 23 o'clock direct under our balcony was really not so great. As soon as you the hotel leave and the dogs outside were you were barked ... at and dared not any more further. For dog lovers definitely not a problem. For us, the a little fear and large respect for dogs, unfortunately already. read more

Everything perfect! Had a relaxing week. The gondolas are directly at the house. We have 2 times free bicycles. You can in the valley great bicycle go. The swimming pond is great. read more

Also the hotel we can with its great countryside heedlessly further-recommend. Very annoying we found the zettelwirtschaft in this hotel, hang or everywhere, looks very hortatory and messy from. Price-performance but almost unbeatable. Unfortunately in town there were ' a two classes hotelgesellschaft mbH ', with and without Zell am See/ kaprun card with many advantages, this you can't buy, there is only in some hotels. The Gartenhotel daxer is not one of them (but they should for the hotels very expensive his) read more

The hotel lies good 2 kilometer from town center away. You have 100 meters away from the hotel the bus station and the Schmittenbahn. The view from the rooms with a lake view is fantastic. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is tasty, sufficient and very pleasant arranged. The pool is unfortunately very small and getting quite old. But there were a very nice swimming Pond in the outdoor area. With the high Tauern card can one very much for little money undertake. All together you can a stay In this hotel recommend. read more

The hotel was before not too long time reconditions. The rooms and the toys are great reasonable. The garden is well maintained. Nice natural swimming pond outside, a pool and sauna inside. Good games possibilities for children: enough big lawn, toys for children, badminton, table tennis; inside pool and a few board games. Enough big terrace, every room with big enough balcony. Non-smoking hotel. The lounge is a bit small; in case of bad weather it will ensure tight, particularly since at least our room no table, where you sometimes play could. The hotel is clean. As guests were many ... families since, but also several couple of all ages. For children was so good possibility, port to get. There was almost no cliques. The guests were mainly from Germany, England, Netherlands and Eastern Europe ( Hungary? Czech republic?). I personally found the guests very pleasant. Altogether has a good atmosphere under the guests and under the staff. It seems well from the young wartbichlers led to be. Free participation in the-foreign-children's program (from 5 years ) like for instance llama trekking, gold and edelsteinsuche, piratenabenteuer on the lake, bauernhofbesuch.     The food was very good and plentiful. It was always quickly refilled. Always fresh salad ( lettuce, gherkins, carrots) and several other salads. The juices ( orange juice, multivitamin ) for breakfast earn their name' juice', as it is not those to sweet saftverschnitte is. Once weekly grill buffet, once austrian buffet. Apart from that food after previous selection: fish, meat, vegetarian. Also special wishes like noodles by court 1 and tomato sauce by court 3 were never a problem. The beverage prices are very high, for example a Spezi 0.5 liter for 4,60 Euro, a bottle of 'spring' (tap water?) for 2,50 Euro that was perhaps a reason, why evenings in the bar not much going on was. In the afternoon you could cakes and a coffee for four Euro get. Unfortunately there was always only the same three types of cake ( chocolate, topfenstrudel, apple strudel). I thought, that each with their own firm dining seat and you had therefore in a period of two hours to eat could happen, when you wanted.

Cleaning of the rooms was good, even if two weeks spider webs in the bathroom overlooked were. The birthday of our son there were on request mornings a piece of cakes with candles and a small surprise.

The hotel itself is good. We were 2010 already there once and it was there please, therefore we had indiesen year again booked. The size of the hotel is ok. The rooms were also clean. The hotel has a dog and we had in the area of the terrace, where the tables for the guests is possible 2 hundekothaufen found, this is not at all. The hotel has apparently since this year a 2. Dog, the way to other dogs very aggressive, has gained. We could only as a couple dressed, as our dog had to hold, which obviously wanted ... and the other had to the hotel dog, the very big was (bigger than our golden retriever) repel. Breakfast and dinner were very good. As guests were mostly German there and a few czechs and austrians. read more

    The room was not too big. There was only the double bed and in the corner of a desk. The tv in the window and you could watch from the bed from. In bad weather it was not very convenient. The bathroom was small, but had enough and was cleaned properly. We stayed downstairs and had the view of the grounds, which was very neat. There was a free safe and telefn was also in the room.

For breakfast you have 2 coffee full automats, where no wishes left remained, with very good quality.     The staff were very friendly except for the boss, despite our complaint because of the dog, did nothing. Therefore was the week for us, it was very stressful, as we always attention, if we or came, the resident dog had to put. Because this came with large pace growling we strayed and bite after our dog. We then the last days a 2. leash and took to the dog beaten, as it left after. The cleaning of the rooms was tidy. With the serving staff was a hungarian couples, the very nice and friendly were.

    The distance to Zell are 2 kilometer, the you with the bus drive can. But there is also a beautiful waldweg, where you are in the middle of to the center and about about 1 hour walk.
