What you sometimes get borders already an isolence. We asked for example after the zimmerprospekt advertised pillow menu at the front desk, the two ladies looked on, almost what now, and they denied our request simply.

We found the hotel overpriced. For business okay, but if I for a breakfast in addition, 19.- pay should, although I only a rolls and a coffee wants, it will too much. Location: the hotel lies directly at the fair in the immediate area for a shopping center. Subway and bus also right next to hotel available.
Room: very big, as a Novotel expect can, bathroom also big enough. Everything very clean and tidy.
Staff: friendly, accommodating and attentive. Questions are quickly and competent answered,
Food: good and in plentiful variety available. Breakfast is also varied and adequate.

This hotel offers outside the peak hours ( fair, oktoberfest etc.) a very reasonably priced and quiet alternative the often overpriced hotels in the town center. During a fair you should however not really visit, because it because of the this favorable location than generally very crowded and crazy expensive (> 200 euros per night).
Because of its location directly at the subway-stop 'messestadt west' is the center within about 15 minutes to reach. The nearby training and conference centers of some companies in the field of trudering-riem make it furthermore an interesting destination for business trips.
The riem ... arcaden directly opposite offer numerous restaurants also the possibility a detailed shopping trip. read more

We were fortunately only 2 nights in this hotel. The bathroom was very dirty, blood stain under the toilet, this was on the next day, as the maids through (so was not really cleaned), klosettdeckel also totally dirty. The breakfast although it already had a larger selection, but only, even if refilled was. But it was not, the bread and the bread rolls were always hard and not enjoyable. We were already 3 times in the Novotel, this year we had a great large room with extra large bathroom, that was top. The subway-station is just next to the hotel, we are all with the subway and our car the parking garage left, is much faster and the children it was fun. Great is also, that next door the riem-arcaden are, as you can have a nice shop go.
The only thing which missing in the bathroom, are hooks for all the towels, that would have still need to be upgraded.
But otherwise it was really beautiful stay in ... Munich. read more

from the cleanliness in the rooms I am very disappointed, was 3.5 years already times there and I have to say it has at the time very neglected. From the check-in I was disappointed it was not said when and where breakfast is, you had to everything even ask.

If you are a city traveler this quite recommendable hotel book you should be aware, that you up to the station sendlinger gate, 5-minute walk from the marienplatz, 12 stations or half an hour with the U2 drives - even if the subway station directly next to the hotel is. The house is so for visitors safe first choice, for tourists there are better alternative, especially if you arrive by car you have to per day TG at least €17, -for them. This is the same amount as in the also very recommendable Mercure M city center, where one however ... with the Hbhf, literally in the middle of town and the most sights even to reach on foot can. Or the comparison to the also very recommendable Motel One München South must be possible, where it is just 4 stops to the sendlinger gate and one for the state-of-the-art garage only €9, -per person-when casually clearly lower room- and breakfast. read more

It is clean, exhibits however so some stains on the carpets on.
Rich breakfast buffet, which leaves nothing to be desired, sunday breakfast until: o'clock, also early risers -breakfast from 4:00 until: o'clock.

In the very small Bath turns out the mold in the joints of the tiles. Water pressure the shower and at the washbasin is very weak, when it rains better after outside go, is more effective.
With a room to the street/ highway must the window unfortunately remain closed, too loud for sleeping. Unfortunately the air conditioning also not straight silent, for sensitive it takes to sleep a bit longer.

The subway stop is really directly in front of the hotel - one is without having to change in 15 to 20 minutes with the main station. Therefore, that the hotel outside of town is, is really every room quiet. We had one in the West, with a view of the Forecourt of the purchase center - and very nice view of the sunset.
Right next to the Novotel is the shopping center Rien arcaden with restaurants and bars and many shops. Particularly the two bakeries were for breakfast great.
W-LAN costs extra, there are but 2 public internet Computers ... available, you for 20 minutes free of charge use can. read more

There are better alternative.
We have the Novotel Munich on a Urlaubsrückreise of Al pure overnight accommodation hotel booked, it was the location nearby the highway ideal and you could for a afternoon with the subway ( directly in front of the hotel, stop fair-West) just into town go. Additional Bonus is the shopping center Riem-Arcaden directly in front of the hotel, where you a selection of restaurants and snacks there. For a pure city break the hotel I would however definitely not recommend, as there are better alternative in the town since the rooms in the hotel quite small ... (especially the very small bathroom) and the extra charges in the hotel for Wi-Fi and parking (17 Euro / night) as high as the costs for breakfast, which with 19 Euro per person to book proposes. For the small hunger there is however also a small breakfast in the hotel bar, which correspondingly cheaper. About the cleaning there is nothing to complain about, however I have already asked, why the building with 4 stars classed with relatively small rooms, even if mini bar ( against fee) and a free coffee-/ tea maker in the room are available. Additional hotel deals are looking for you here in vain. So if you know that you need, you can Novotel because of the very reasonable price outside of fair periods quite good, but you should just not too much require, other Novotel offer because sometimes more. read more

Solid hotel for city tours with small faults

The hotel lies directly at the subway station 'Messestadt west' (with the you 2 is about 20 minutes in the city center Munich) in the east of Munich and is also by car easy to reach ( cIRCA 2a 3 minutes away from the A94 ). Directly opposite is the 'Riem arcaden' a big shopping center. The hotel and 'Riem arcaden' share a massive underground parking. Monday is included in the price (' blue Monday'). At other days is the parking fee 17 €for 24 hours.
The check in ( as well as the check out) ran problem-free and the ... reception staff were friendly. Same goes for the staff in the dining room. The dishes there were both quality, as well as quantitative attractive. We had only breakfast booked, have however the bbq evening dined there. Wanted one however outside of the hotel 'good food', you had to in the subway and direction city center drive. A small tip: the ' Truderinger inn' (trude ringer wirtshaus. De) is only a subway station and 10 to 15 minutes footpath away. This I can really recommend.
There was directly opposite of the hotel the 'epicure arcaden' (a building respectively a floor of 'Riem arcaden'), but the restaurants there were rather of type 'snack'.
The hotel itself ( Foyer, lifts, Corridors, dining room, general toilets) was clean and tidy.
My only, 'negative' criticism refers to the room respectively its condition. The room size I would as' average ' (for a four star hotel) specify. As you can see on my high pictures cognizes, saw the wall in front of the bed afterwards from, as if someone a conflicting pressures Cola-Bottle had opened. On the armchair was on the side a thick layer of dust. On the glasses next to the tv were marks from greasy hands. Both rooms -, as well as closet-door had indentations. The safe in the closet was relatively awkward, so that the, in case not locked, for each opening the closet-door also opened. Thus you had to always watch out, that you at the stoop not the head pushed. Lockable storage space were closet no ( for example Drawers ).
The bathroom was for a four star hotel quite small. On the floor there were still hairs from the previous guest ( Guess). The door of the shower had its best years behind itself (see photo ). Furthermore was the lip to the bottom of the door didn't really close, so that water in the bathroom ran.
The room was with a LCD TV equipped. However there were initially problem with the remote control, something not only the case with us. Apparently you have to pay a 'magic button' press, so that the remote control fully working.
In one of the from us booked room there otherwise problem the open and close the window ( what not on incapacity in our opinion due ).
In short: altogether a good hotel for city breaks or fairs with slight drawbacks concerning the room. read more
