After a good check in were the rooms large but technically poorly equipped. Bath tub rusty and dull. Air conditioning no function. Food was rather normal. The 4 star this hotel safe were 30 years ago justified or in the medina negotiated. Everything very in need of renovation. We are with friends the pirate's gate and therefore with the favourable price of sonnenklar tv we didn't know what to expect. We were positively surprised. The hotel is clean and well-kept. Here is the price the performance, description differed much from the offer, 3 à-la-carte -restaurants was only one with a cold food, nice service and changing program! The beach is mini and filthy or construction! All drinks except soft drinks and beer are gepanscht/diluted - all inclusive to cure-rather 50 €more pay and enjoy the holiday!
Staff except for the maid/entertainers is reluctant, smiles extremely rare and hidden. Here is the service poor and urgently to retouch! The hotel is drafty and never worth 4 stars, rather 2.5-3-a renovation the floor coverings in the corridors is required. The rooms ... were very spacious, unfortunately because of missing remote control cold - front desk. Satellite /tv was mini and no good front desk. Maid and the entertainment team was constantly tried. Unfortunately no recommendation!
Annoying not belonging to the hotel adman for excursions/ restaurant diagonally opposite and a coach house in front of the hotel - everything tourist traps be careful! 2 attacks on tourists during 2 weeks - thanks no so must vacation not be really like that. read more

My at sonnenklar. Tv booked trip was' suspicious' cheap, so i didn't expect much. But i was positively surprised:
The hotel and my spacious room showed some signs of wear, but comfortable and functional. Complaints (loose toilet seat, problems with tv ) were taken care of immediately. There was a heater, which in december very pleasant was. The room would be cleaned daily and sheets, and towels changed frequently (towels daily, bed sheets all 2-3 days).
In my package was ultra universe inclusive food supply included. I can the food only praise and am still thrilled by the delicious mediterranean ... and african cuisine with a lot of vegetables (zucchini, peppers, eggplant, fennel, tomatoes, cucumbers.) And sharp harissa to aufwürzen. The dessert buffet with cakes and snacks was a poem. Of drinks there was soft drinks, beer and wine.
The hotel was mainly french and german occupied and the air conditioning was good. The age structure was mixed, with particular emphasis on 50 years.
Special praise earns the entertainment team, consisting of about 10 young tunesierinnen and tunesiern. They were daily use, for the guests with games and sports and dance to converse. Every evening there was a tool show in the disco. I have rarely so much dancing like in these two weeks.
Conclusion: i in the hotel 'the pirate's gate' two beautiful weeks and me felt good. read more

We had a 4 star hotel with everything uai booked, but what we in this hotel found was sobering and catastrophic. Actually one could everything be criticized, because all benevolence are 2 star too much. What has the tour operator FTI just thinking, this hotel with such false promises to offer.
If i only to the lack of cleanliness and hygiene think, i get still nightmares. A couple from strälen was in despair about so much dirt and justifiably every day with the staff a complaint released, but nothing changed.
in the dining room missing basically cutlery, glasses and dishes. ... The dishes were of poor quality and partly not edible. You came later to eat, was the vending machine was empty. The floor looked, as if it would be months had not been cleaned.
The beverages at the bars were an impertinence, because they were all very with water watered down. Even the tour operator found this behavior normal, because in Tunisia everything was so expensive.
After these negative experiences i would recommend this property to anyone, to book this hotel. read more

Deseaming were for the 2. time here and we really liked it once again. The rooms are huge and toilet and bathrooms were separated. The staff are very polite and courteous. The food is very tastefully and diverse. The christmas and new year's eve celebrations were very nice. The entertainment every evening a nice entertainment made. All in all: each time again. read more

I was very satisfied. It is an older hotel, but clean and reasonable. Especially worth mentioning is the nice lady at the front desk! Pool, beach and indoor pool ok, have all used a lot. Had a very nice, really quiet 3-bedroom. We had this hotel over the offer on tv and were very dissapointed, what the state of the room and the towels (gross gray) concerned, on the toilet shook the whole construction.
The coffee in the restaurant was not recommendable, in the 24 hours snack bar was of the Cappuccino delicious and the coffee good. Food was tasted reasonable. The staff were nice and helpful. For our grandchild 15 months, was not able an appropriate cover for the crib to procure, they had a thick dingy mollydecke.
The worst thing was the theft of my upper (somewhat chic for going ... out), it was from the wardrobe were stolen and the things my husband were also searched. The director tried not very, the manager of the cleaning staff and the cleaning staff found my uppers not, the cleaning staff had free and the agency was not to investigate.
The shouldn't happen, i had the incident reported and await further regulation, my top but rather.

All in all, a good 3 kinds of 6 points.
Room relatively small, the tiles on the floor partly broken. The air conditioning is the days! ( with almost 30 degree heat outside) and goes only from 18 o'clock at! Hello?!
The cleaning is average; smeared mirror, is deseamed unfortunately not every day. If you are lucky enough, you catch a cleaning lady, the speak however generally no foreign languages, except french and arabic. Sad.
The food is acceptable, has almost always tasted good and was an appropriate choice of meals. For breakfast fresh pancakes and omelets made. Unfortunately, there ... was not always spoon the soup (?) The hotel, the staff, the location, the entertainment possibilities, the food- to the versogung at berth. Lots of regular guests, theoretically, the entertainers could work, much laughed, drink a lot and ate a lot, it was all great! The A and or is staying in touch.
