The hotel is often booked by tour groups, the get drunk and ons sacrifice. The room which i had was schmuddellig and bedding not changed (it was still fresh blood on the sheets and bedding). Overall the hotel is a little run down. read more

The hotel is very good for a short stay for this as it is in the middle of the pedestrian district of Birmingham City Center in close proximity to the train ( TRAINSTATION New Street) and Busstations is. As well as many attractions nearby, as well as bars, restaurants and shopping. The rates for a double room vary, depending on the time of the howard, have ever short-term, the more favorable (39 pound) We were already stayed there 3 times and have always paid 39 pound / night, rather than 140 pound. Therefore the hotel is great. For 140 pound ... no way! read more

I am for the second time at this hotel and I love it still nice. Unfortunately this time was a lift was broken, with huge waits to as the hotel nine floors and the elevators are generally very slow. That was annoying a bit. Otherwise, right in the middle of the city with lovely old buildings located, shopping, restaurants and bars in direct proximity. Just great. read more

I would highly recommend this hotel. It is located in the middle of the pedestrian district of Birmingham City in the New Street. Shops, bars, restaurants and attractions right around the corner. Birmingham City Center is through the old buildings and the beautiful architecture. I am not Englandfan, but this city I liked it, I can only recommend to everyone. Even though it's right on a pedestrian mall, there was little noise level, when windows are closed. Daily maid service and the towels were changed and the typical teas and coffee in the room I thought was a nice touch. ... I would return to this hotel any time, just because it's in the heart of the city and close to all the main attractions. read more

The overall condition of the hotel is rather tired and old. It often lack of details. If you had a closer look missing handles, plaster or other things that the overall picture of the hotels were sadly dark. read more

The overall condition of the hotel is quite worn. I booked this hotel only for one night and needed so there was a bed. Unfortunately, the rooms are run down but clean. It is next to a tv also the possibility to complimentary tea and coffee making facilities. The windows are unfortunately British basic and not sound proof. After the renovation it would, because of the location, a great hotel! I didn't book breakfast and can therefore no judgment about them. In the surrounding area but there are plenty of opportunities for food. The location makes up for the hotel ... but a lot! In a pedestrian area, about three minutes walk from the train station New Street, shopping centers and restaurants are all within easy reach in a short time. read more
