Hotel lies about 20 minutes on foot from the city centre. The breakfast is ok, but could be better.
The sausage was not so freshly, the offered bread which you cut can is
Not by a towels, served protected. Thus almost every guest the bread directly at.
In direct nearby there is a very good restaurant (askur ) which is very good or down at the port the (tapas) which one select can, as it in the hotel no dinner there was. The rooms are okay, but some used use traces, which however not so grawirrnt are.
The staff are ... very friendly and helpful. read more

Very good value for money, top staff - friendly and helpful, very clean room. The distance to the city centre stops at the beginning of somewhat from, but after only 5 minutes bus ride or 20 minutes walk you in the center.
We will certainly again in the Hotel Park Inn Reykjavik come. Probably even again 2013! read more

In conclusion our Islandrundreise, allowed we have many guest houses yet a hotel. The Parkinn offers a good starting point for further day trips and offers ample parking in front of the house. As unfortunately everywhere the window not really open, can be aired thus hardly. Breakfast is in comparison to the guest houses very varied and again at any time filled up. read more

For my short trip to Iceland I chose the Hotel Park INN in Reykjavik. The first impression was very positive. The hotel is in a quiet location somewhat outside of the center. The lobby is bright and friendly, clean and modern, and the reception was very nice.
The largest Überraschiung I had to open the door to my room. I had the luck, a upgrade to a suite to get. The view of the is stunningly beautiful - view of the sea overlooking Reykjavik with the main buildings as perlan or Hallgrimskirkja. I could both sunrise -, as well as ... the sunset watch. Who needs this view a TV? The curtains could I would have Brough also not at all closed, but because of the short nights it was necessary.
The room even was very spacious, with kitchenette and a large bathroom. From the bath tub the panoramic views.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
All excursions could from the hotel be booked, from where you also always picked up. Everything went smoothly.
In my opinion deserves the hotel a fourth Stern. This was the hotel again denied, because of a lack of spas. But if you have been in Iceland and the natural conditions ( for example blue lagoon or Fontana spa ) to relax can use, you don't need really a spa area in the hotel.
I the hotel can only recommend and it would even with another Islandbesuch choose again. read more

The helpful, sensitive and friendly front desk staff makes the hotel praiseworthy! Otherwise, the location is not ideal. The room with a view of the mountains made up for it. read more

A rental car for Island should be available to the hotel to reach away from the city. It is a good tourist hotel with a good breakfast buffet. Close to the hotel there is a good restaurant "Brasserie Askur" with good kitchen and moderate prices. The overall impression is tidy and for a city trip to recommend. read more

The hotel is about 20 minutes walk from the town center, in the area (before the Hilton hotel) there is a bus stop right outside. The nearby swimming pools as a guest you can visit free. Definitely come across! We found the breakfast room in relation to the size of the hotel relatively small. As we had to wait. Staff friendly. We missed a supermarket in the immediate vicinity. About 15 minutes walk away is the Kringlaan American-style, a shopping center. read more

From our Islandrundreise this was the last stay before going home. The hotel has 119 rooms and is not far from the city center. The standard of the rooms are international with safe, hair dryer, coffee / tea do-it-yourself and TV ( single German program: RTL 2 ( CH) etc. There was in our room only a constant mattress and totally worn out, and the next morning you is absolutely whacked in the morning. Positive and hygienic however, the wooden floors. The dinner ( thin tomato soup & fish with Kartoffelstock) for the group was not convincing taste and quality. ... Two groups filled the breakfast and Abendessensaal full, Bahnhofskantinenmäßig from the noise level. But the service was okay and friendly. The breakfast buffet was also not live up to our expectations, so was offered toast, not a dark bread or bread rolls, and after asking were told, different bread would had long gone, maybe but we also too spoiled. Breakfast is's from 04:30! Unfortunately no free wireless internet in the hotel area, parking (fee required internet PC Dito. But overall the hotel is highly recommended. Tip: By bus from the hotel to the "Blue lagoon" cost 5000 ISK/€30, including entrance. If you only 67 year old is solves the drive 3000 ISK and get the entrance to 1200 ISK! read more

The room at first made a clean impression. After two days notices that the of dust on bedside table and fixtures are always more. The garbage can by sunday up to our check out on the Thursday empty. One day the beds were not at all. In the bathroom the same! We had the Geführ, that the room and bathroom the whole week not really cleaned (small plastic thing was the whole week on the same spot! ). Breakfast was the three stars are appropriate in order, the service was friendly. As well as the front desk and they were ... always willing to help with problems. I think you can expect from a 3 star hotel a clean room, so I didn't really recommend this hotel. Unless we had with the cleaning staff terrible luck on our floor. Location wise we were satisfied. You just have to 1/2 hour expected to you in the center. You do not want to walk, it is possible with the public. Bus very close. read more
