Good value for money, for the great location in the middle of Manhattan. Everything easy to reach on foot. For 3 days ok. A bit shabby but at least clean. If one anyway only on the way is, it is for sleeping. Breakfast there was only a snack and coffee/dte to carry forward the bakery next door (but including). Direct block to 5. ave. All within walking distance. We germans can take \u263a conclusion: to stay it was enough, but it really no more than 3 days. Noise sensitive should be a bit different, as it is located in the ... center of the city is, like one it from the tv knows \u263a read more

Nice city hotel in Manhattan. Well situated, to with the public transport links New York to explore. In the area there are both directly supermarkets, as well as restaurants, bars and (gay) clubs. The room itself was relatively small and a bit dated - but clean and comfortable. The bathroom we had to us with the next room share-, although we the neighbours never met. Room amenities include a safe, a small black-and-white tv and wi-fi. In the morning there were no on-site breakfast-but a voucher for pastries, dessert and drinks on the under the hotel nearby bakery. That was ... more or less fine. Both the receptionist, as well as the bäckereipersonal were very nice and helpful, what advice for wise. This top price for a hotel in the middle of Manhattan we would definitely again New York discover. read more

small and cozy hotel with infinite stairs (5. Floor without elevator), but convenient and clean! Toilettenbad was announced and also okay. Breakfast in the bakery next door privileges with coupons, along with coffee (typically American soft coffee ☺ with great pleasure again! read more

We stayed a week in November 2010 at the Chelsea Inn and have only good things to say. For the price you get anything in Manhattan. The bathroom was next door so we shared with one other guestroom. In the whole week saw once before, that the bathroom was occupied, when I needed to take a shower. read more

Our double room was spacious for New York standards. There was a very comfortable bed, a table with two upholstered chairs, a sufficiently large wardrobe and a chest of drawers. We left our bags and our purchases. In addition, there was a sink, hair dryer, TV, telephone, air-conditioning and heating. We had our room was facing the back patio view - we didn't hear from the street noise and every night we were deep geschlummert: -)

Breakfast was in a bakery in the basement of the hotel pick up. Unfortunately, there is no seats. You can choose between huge very delicious Plundern or assorted bagels, there is a large coffee and fruit and juice. We enjoyed the breakfast always "to go" taken away when we have gone to stroll through town.

The staff was always friendly and helpful, even though we had not many questions, as we have already been the city.

The location is spectacular! The hotel is between 5th and 6th Avenue. Subway is 3 minutes from the hotel. Union Square is 3 -minute walk, where there are numerous bars, restaurants etc. Right next to the hotel is a gay-club, but that didn't bother us as we in the room not bothered by any noise.

The hotel is located in the middle of Manhattan and you can all be reached quickly. The nearest metro station is 5 minutes away. Very bad thing was the a shared a bathroom was for two rooms. It was also very noisy at night, each night we were woken up by the garbage trucks. If you want a cheap accommodation (for young people) just to sleep is the place for you, but it will not be standards to be expected. For our next New York trip we will definitely spend more. read more
