Modern and clean city hotel. We were given a sufficient large room for 3 people. 1 queen size bed and a sofa bed. The bathroom was large. The breakfast buffet excellent, with all the, what your heart desires. What we have, this hotel to book, is the family policy. Children up 16 years stay free, including breakfast buffet, even with just 1 adult. read more

The Novotel Barcelona City has a good location, directly near the metro ( glories station), also the tram is in the immediate proximity and for tourists very interesting - opposite is the stop a hop on-hop off bus.
Opposite the hotel there is a large, well laid out shopping center - glories-even until 21 o'clock open.
The rooms are very spacious, also the bathroom is very big and modern decorated-the bathroom was even a speaker from the tv.
For breakfast I was a bit surprised, as we were on the first morning 10 minutes to queue had, until we a ... table got. Apparently the restaurant is respectively the breakfast room too small for the size of the hotel. The breakfast same was very good, a wide choice of pastry and fresh fruit. The eggs were also good in taste.
In 19th Floor on the roof terrace there was a pool, that we unfortunately not more use, as it was already too cold. From there one has also a great view of the town and many sights. read more

This Novotel for a family a great value for money, there the children cheap in the room the parents ( the room is large enough). Deductions there was only, because the dinner until 19:30. We were very comfortable in the hotel. The employees at the reception were very hard, when we arrived at the subway were robbed.
The shopping center vis-à-vis offers lots of shops, which one otherwise in Barcelona finds ( Zara, H&M, C & A, carefour). Reception is by the proximity of a L 1 subway station ( glories) very good.
The more than enough breakfast strengthens for one day in the town.
On wishes ( for example: additional blanket ) were promptly reacted to. In case we Barcelona revisiting, we will choose this hotel again. read more

The Novotel Barcelona City left, which the breakfast regards unfortunately many wishes open, not to say it was bad. It much better is shows the Novotel Wien city. There was everything your heart desires, there unfortunately not. For the the hotel was still relatively new, the carpets were in the rooms already very suffered. Extra Showering cloths gave it also only with demand, and were rather reluctantly brought! The water pressure in the shower head was so poor, that one, if one's hair wash wanted, 5 minutes longer under the shower there had, so that the foam really erode could. Our room was on the 16th floor with a view of the Torres Agbar and the city-super. Staff accommodating, breakfast buffet very good, cleanliness and changing nothing to complain about. Traffic connection is good: metro only a few -minute walk away ( 10 minutes in city) or bus no 7 opposite ( 20 minutes in city). Mall directly opposite - great! Sightseeing -bus stops opposite hotel. ( discount card in the hotel request) was the only negative the large construction works next to the hotel - but that didn't bother us, there we early left. We would stay in this ... Novotel-city book - value for money unbeatable! read more

The hotel lies only moments from the subway station Glories and in the immediate area of the same name purchase center with shops, restaurants and breakfast possibilities. With the metro there is 4 stations to the center ( Placa Catalunya ).
The rooms are nice, the bathroom modern. Our son slept on the pull-out sofa. We had a room on the 17th floor with a great view over Barcelona.
The hotel is very recommendable. We would spend our vacations there anytime again. The pool on the roof was unfortunately closed-it was just too cold.
In the hotel for 18 Euro ... per person a breakfast to book ( buffet). We have however not used.
TIPS
From airport one drove the best with the light blue aerobus to placa Catalunya and from there with the metro ( red line L1) to station glories. The bus costs about 6 Euro per person and the travel lasts about 30 minutes.
We felt for the subway a 4-day pass gelost, which for us was well worth it.
Also we can recommend the city tours with the ' convertible -buses'the' Barcelona bus Turistic '. They go on several routes, you can the whole day use and everywhere from or enter again. A headphones you info in the particular language. A visit to the Sagard familia is a must, you should however on waiting times adjust, even if you the tickets in advance at. read more

With a room in one of the upper floors and magnificent view on the beach and the Sagard cathedral we could 3 days in this hotel enjoy. The service was very accommodating, there was free Wi-Fi also in the room and we felt great all round. The employees ( even if this spoke no German, which we but also not expect abroad) had with special requests and with tips always help.
The bathroom was huge and the furnishings very high quality. 4 German speaking tv-channels were sufficient, in order to in between the messages to see and for 3 days ... you don't need more. Particularly recommendable is the Mojito in the hotel bar.
Through the fantastic access to the public transport connections are all sights within 10 minutes reachable. Who just a few days in Barcelona is, with the great hotel nothing wrong. The category 4 stars are here definitely appropriate. read more

good traffic connections. Quiet, soundproof rooms. Had a free upgrade from a standard room to a suite. Very large bathroom with great shower. The roof top terrace provides a wonderful views over Barcelona. We had night inclusive breakfast good price with Neckermann. Breakfast with 18 euros per person too high.
