The flight by helicopter after Vomo island was quite an experience with a view over the mamanuca island group. We were greeted warmly and were shown directly on the grounds and to our villa. Unfortunately, a stand-alone Villa could not be met, in the double-Villa, however, was the noise window blind perfectly acceptable (although our ' neighbors 'an older couple without children (small)). A luxury resort the superlatives. We stayed over my 40th birthday on Vomo. This is a very exclusive resort. The (small) hotel consists of a main building in which the front desk, the hotel shop and the restaurant. Guests stay in individual bungalows on the cliff, or on the beach (mostly than "semi detached three bedrooms that can be used"). The island is small and walking around. There is also a small mountain, you can climb. The beach, as you should expect it is a dream. If you found you can be guaranteed a place where you alone. Between many ... palm trees hung with hammocks and invite to stay. The island is neat, but not überpflegt. The food (all inclusive) was very, very good and varied. The general public is international and exclusive. Many Australians and New Zealander but also guests from North and South America often with children. We were the only Europeans. The fun way was even Elle McPherson ( the body) very to look forward the men also straight on Vomo holiday. The guests were friendly and relaxed. The staff unexpected fresh and friendly. It doesn't strictly. Very personable. The check in ( with the boat was a beautiful experience in itself). If you liked, you could also arriving by e-mail Heli. At the other end of the island there is a romantic bar with a beautiful view of the sunset. The only crucial point: The rooms are too small. In the first week we stayed in a bungalow on the mountain. In the second week we moved to a "Semi-detached villa" of a bungalows to the beach. The rooms were very tight but especially much too noisy. Stayed at the Nachbarbungalow a family with a baby, the night not straight - so there would not. The service on the island was full board (breakfast, lunch and dinner). The drinks are ( as expected) very high ( Fiji Bitter 0,3l ( good beer)converted about 8 euros, the bottle of wine starts at about 50 Euro) All in all it was a exceptional holiday. read more
