We had a sea view room with a balcony - fantastic. It was adequately furnished and comfortable. Over bath shower in the bathroom, with hair dryer. The room had air conditioning controls, a fully stocked mini bar, safe, telephone and TV. Our only disappointment is that there were no tea/coffee making facilities.

Plenty of good and varied self service food is available in the clean main restaurant at breakfast and dinner. There are also themed nights - e.g. Greek, Italian. Tip the waiter/waitress if you wish to. There is also a beach bar area where you can choose your own food at lunchtimes (including grilled/barbecued), salads, fruits, etc. Delicious! Some of the desserts are to die for! There are also excellent a la carte menus available at lunchtimes and evenings (except Sunday) in separate restaurant areas, the evening one being in a lovely marquee.

Staff are mainly Greek and are smartly dressed, friendly and helpful. Most staff can speak a number of different languages. Rooms are cleaned and towels changed etc., by the maids on a daily basis. A laundry service is available. A Guests Relations Officer is available to deal with any complaints.

Water sports are available on the beach. The beach and water quality is excellent. There are also showers on the beach and by the pool. The infinity pool and the views that surround it are breathtaking. Towels and parasols are provided free of charge for use on the beach and by the pool..I can't comment on the Kids Club, but I know that there is one. Free internet access is available in the main hotel. Some form of entertainment is provided each evening either on the terrace outside the main lounge area and/or on the stage in the beach bar area.

Hotel facilities are fully described on the hotel's website, but suffice it to say that the hotel is comfortable, clean and smart, with pleasant areas inside to sit and relax if you so wish. Better still, sit outside with a drink and take in the fantastic views. I guarantee you will be itching to start taking your holiday snaps! Many different nationalities use this hotel.

There are two lovely beaches at the rear of the hotel which can be reached either by steps or a lift. Towels and parasols are provided free of charge. Shopping facilities are somewhat limited in the local village of Kontokali. Car hire would be an advantage due to the hotel's location, but a free mini bus service into Corfu Town and back can be booked. The airport is about a 20 minute drive away.

Watersports available from the beach, always sunbeds available

My husband and I visited Kontokali Bay last year with my parents and fell in love with it so we all returned again the same time this year! We can honestly say the staff within this hotel go that extra mile to ensure you have a perfect stay! The care you recieve from all of the staff in every department made our holiday and we will be returning again next year!

The size of the rooms and terraces is dependent on the selected category. Very recommendable the bungalows. The rooms shows on, that the hotel complex older (70. Years). Furniture and bathroom is however completely okay. The air conditioning worked very well. Altogether very tidy and clean.

Big the offer for bars and restaurants. The quality and the choice of the offered meals convinced. I had rarely seen such tasty meal. Also for vegan a more than sufficient range. The offered wines are really recommendable. Unfortunately no beer from the barrel in the restaurant, but at the bars. Immaculate hygiene and cleanliness. Perfect service. Also good visited dinner buffet very peaceful atmosphere. Appropriate price.

Wide range of activities, from us however was not used. Access to the internet also in the bungalows and rooms. Large, very well maintained beaches in one of the most beautiful bay of Corfu. Very protected beaches with shallow water. Best quality of the water ( blue flag). More than sufficient range at loungers and places to sit. Showers also at the beach. Salt water pool with dreamlike view of sea, bay and mountains from Albania. In-door -fresh water pool and spa pool.

Largest anlagenfläche on Corfu. Wonderful garden area. Large, very well maintained beaches in one of the most beautiful bay of Corfu. Very protected beaches with shallow water. Room somewhat older ( hotel from the 70. Years), but very well maintained, well equipped, for example mattresses, on which one well sleep. Complex altogether very, very well maintained. Beautiful old trees. Outstanding service. Half board very recommendable. The offered dishes ( choice and quality) simply exquisite. durchmischtes audience ( nationalities and age), very quiet. Diverse places to sit with dreamlike view. More than enough recliners. Recommendable spa -offer. Even with a fully booked hotel spread the guests, so that the complex never seems crowded. An all around recommendable 5-star -complex.

Direct access to two hotel's own sandy beaches. Very central and really quiet location on Corfu. Pleasant distance to airport and capital. The very nice north and north-west is kontokali from very easy to reach. Best fish restaurant on the island, with view of Marina, within walking distance (5 minutes). Hospital with a car in 5 minutes reachable. Shops in the immediate vicinity ( kontokali 10 minutes, large supermarkets on the main street 15 minutes). One of the best-located hotel complex on Corfu.

we were lucky enough be allocated a suite upon arrival with consisted of two large rooms a huge balcony with table and chairs, more than adequate wardrobe space and very large bathroom with wet room shower, bath, two basins and toilet. we have stayed in alternative rooms in the hotel, all offering clean modern accommodation including the garden bungalows, situated amongst the well maintained gardens. All rooms have aspects out onto either the sea, the bay or the gardens. The room areas are quiet and we have never been disturbed by other areas of the hotel, ie kitchen staff, bin areas, etc.

There are two main restaurants, and two al a carte restaurants. Breakfast and Dinner are served in the restaurant upstairs over the lobby area and reception, buffet style, but with the most amazing array of foods, catering for all types of tastes and regularly holding theme evenings, a Greek night, Italian night etc. There is always a wide choice for non meat eaters and vegetarians. The dining room staff clean the tables after each course and are constantly checking that all is in order. The buffet is constantly replenished and the food always seem to be full with no run outs, or bottom of the dish syndrome. Breakfast offers an amazing array of foods with the additional choices of freshly fried eggs, pancakes, bacon, etc which the chef prepares to your order. Dinner offers hors de ouevres, soup) of the day (always deliciious) mains - with at least ten choices, dessert, fresh fruit, cheese and biscuits. Lunch is served at the huge outdoor restaurant situated between the two private beaches and next to the beach bar. Once again buffet style with means ideally suited to a day outdoors. There is the addition of freshly barbecued foods, expertly cooked by Spiros with choices of meat and fish, plus his mouth watering barbecued garlic bread. It is well worth booking into one of the al a carte restaurants - with a five star chef, wonderfully attentive staff and varied delicious menu, it is no wonder that it difficult to reserve a table, so book as soon as you arrive, the experience is well worth it - and very reasonaby priced.

This was not our first visit to KBH - the friendliness of the staff is one of the reasons we continue visiting. The staff go out of their way to be helpful, welcoming and friendly. We could not help but notice the staff keep all their areas exceptionally clean and tidy, as soon as an ash tray is used it is replaced with clean. Even when you are using a table the staff ensure it is clean from spills, etc., we are also amazed how the staff swap from language to language so fluently, showing a willingness to help in every language. The CEO and general manager take time each day to circumvent the hotel and check that all guests are catered for and deal with minor problems on the spot - this is most impressive. The bedrooms are thoroughly cleaned each day with fresh linen, towels and toiletries, the mini bar and kettle provisions are replenished. We have never had to registered any complaints, but am sure they would be dealt with in an efficient manner but the excellent reception staff, and if more serious by Nelly the Public relations officer and the sympathetic and pro active wonderful general manager.

As mentioned before, over the past couple of years the Spa has opened offering jacuzzi, sauna, hamman, gym and indoor swimming pool, all free of charge to hotel guests. There a a vast array of private treatments and massages available - had it rained during our stay I may well have taken advantage, but it never rained and I found I barely had time. Although a quick use of the hamman and jacuzzi after a hard day on the beach is just what the doctor ordered. There is an infinity pool accessed via the lobby with bed chairs around and this appeared to be equally as popular to the beach. Of course, the bar staff are always checking to refill drinks, etc. There are steps and lift down to the two private beaches, with more than adequate bed chairs and fresh clean chairs, daily, The sand is clean and the water crystal clear in the cordoned off swimming area. (be war y of the little nips from the small fishes). There are plenty of showers, beach huts for changing. There is a water sports jetty with a water sports club offering skiing, paragliding, hire of boats, banana rides, etc. The safety of swimming is monitored and indicated with flags, there is a lifeguard. I believe there is a well run chidrens club, and parents confirmed that their children were being well entertained and cared for. There is a little entertainment in the hotel in the evening, dance exhibition nights, caberet in the beach bar, magic show, and excellent Mr Piano man in the lobby. this is a more gentile hotel with no wild discos, parties, etc.

An excellent hotel in tranquil setting on a peninsula, only ten minutes by taxi to Corfu Town, and fifteen minutes transfer to the airport. I believe the hotel opened in 1972 and has been constantly updated and has a very modern, open plan feel with panoramic views from each side of the hotel. Over the past few years there has been the added advantage of a well equipped spa, well worth a visit.

As previously stated the hotel is in a tranquil setting and located about ten minutes taxi (15 euros) to Corfu Town and fifteen minutes transfer to the airport. Both Kontokali Village and Gouvia are within walking distance with many diverse restaurants and about five minutes walk from the hotel (turn right at the top of the winding road) is a huge supermarket. Many excursions can be organised from the Hotel being in an ideal location in the middle of the east coastline.

Nice size rooms kept nice and clean good balcony, with modern tv, air conditioning, minibar, no tea making facilities or sky news.

Panorama restaurant and 'a la carte' restaurant for breakfast and evening meals and two restaurant's at waters edge for meals and snacks during the day all serving good quality meals, snacks, and drinks, nice and clean.

Every member of staff from management down over was brilliant nothing was too much trouble.

We are not into water sports but seemed plenty going on, plenty of activities for children, plenty of good quality sunbeds and furniture in outside areas good live entertainment with cristos and nickos.

Very clean and tidy, we had a bungalow which was excellent. On half board every meal was first class especially the 'a la carte' no loud guests good cross section of ages and nationalities.

All rooms close to the beautiful beaches and nice grassed area if you prefer, hotel bus into corfu town daily for shopping close to the airport.

It can only be compared to private villa services.

It has 4 restart 2 for dinner and 2 for supper. We have experience the service of 3 out of 4. The buffet was big and had a variety. It has an international, putting their best in French menu. You should experience the services of ala carte restaurant especially the meat meals.

It has good service especially in kid room, main lobby and dinner restaurant. You can find English, German, French and Russia native speaker personnel.

They have a tennis cord and pool activates. The best services a provided in spa center you should experience 4 hands massage . In the beach you can experience scuba diving, sea various summer sports especially water sky. In the beach you can find the cleanliness reception

I have stayed for i week in the family bungalow. The room was recently renovated and it had 2 bathrooms, 1 master bedroom and a living room. The space could be divided by an inner door into two separate rooms. The room is elegant decorated and the equipment meets all requirements for comfortable and relaxing stay. The bath equipment is very efficient and the bed mattresses are very comfortable. The breakfast had a great variety of tastes and the dinner had meals of Greek and international kitchen. The personnel were helpful and very polite especially in the main lobby. Although I have been several times in Corfu and stayed in various hotels, these were the best summer vacation I had ever had in this island.

The beach is just in front and it has a big water pool with and an inner pool. Hotel has an indoor jewelry shop and a shop which swimming and other facilities. In 5 minutes’ walk distance you can find a list of stores and 7 minus by taxi you can be in Corfu center where you can find whatever you want especially near "liston" square

We had a sea facing room which had a fantastic view of the beach. Sitting on the balcony, listening to the waves gently lapping against the shore, was a surreal experience. We were delighted with the bedroom. It was of a reasonable size and was well equipped. We ahve stayed in various rooms at the Kontokali Bay, but have never been disappointed.

The A La Carte restaurants are definitely well worth a visit. Service is excellent, food and surroundings superb. Greek night (Tuesday) is a great experience. The food in the main restaurant is excellent with a wide variety of Greek dishes, all cooked to a high standard and well presented.The Greek dancing at the Marina Bar is some of the best that we have ever witnessed in Greece. The lounge bar is spacious, relaxing and clean. The service is very good,the staff efficient, welcoming and polite, especialy Tassos who never fails to greet you with a beaming smile! There is a hugh selection of food at breakfast, with something to suit everyone's taste.

Breakfast in the main restaurant is busy but it works extremely well as the staff are very organised and well managed by Doukas ( Sous Maitre). Service in the A La Carte Restaurants is exceptionally good. Nellie ( Guest Relations) is extremely helpful and converses in many different languages. The rooms are always kept well cleaned.

The Spa is highly recommended. A leisurely swim followed by aquatherapy and Hammas is a fantastic start to every day. The beaches are clean and beach towels provided on a daily basis. The water in the swimming pool is always at a pleasant temperature and the pool itself is clean and a pleasure to swim in. We did manage to play tennis on a number of occasions ( despite the high temperatures). This was a really enjoyable experience. Racquets and balls can be obtained from Reception. We had internet access in our bedroom.

We have just returned from another fantastic holiday at Kontokali Bay Hotel. The G.M. Alex Margonis and staff work extremely hard to maintain the exceptionally high standard.Every member of staff was polite, friendly and attentive to the needs of guests. The beaches, bars and rooms are all kept scrupuously clean and tidy. The hotel caters very well for all age ranges and nationalities. Many guests, like ourselves return frequently. You can always rest assured that your holiday at the Kontokali Bay will be perfect in every way.

The hotel is well situated to explore the island of Corfu. The beache of Acharavi, Santa Barbara and Liapides are recommended. The bars and restaurants of Kontokali and Gouvai are within walking distance of the hotel.

The new bungalows are nice and practically equipped. There is a mini bar, tv, air conditioning, large terraces and telephone.

The quality of the food is excellent. Unfortunately one has specially in the evening the feeling always the same food to get. A bit more variety would be very desirable!

The staff are the reason why we have now 20 years again and again here come back. All are exceptionally friendly and welcoming. You feel very welcome like in a family. This is true for all from the maids to the manager the last 19 years. Therefore the hotel has also lots of regular guests like us. Very our horror has this year but a lot of changes. The owner and the hotel management have changed and the unfortunately not for good! The new manager is as good as invisible and in case it is just face get, he brought hardly a greeting on the lips! The staff seemed very sad and sorrowful. Unfortunately we had to also witnessing a boisterous reprimand (?) on the part of the manager are. According to the information from friendly guests was not the first time. Something was in the last 19 years not necessary and everything worked perfectly. I find it beschähmend that such things for guests will! We hope still very our favorite food staff we have furthermore received!

The pool is large enough and clean. The sea is also very clean. The beach chairs and sun screens are good. Also the showers are clean. It would be beautifully if the beach itself so maintained would be like before a couple of years. It proliferates unfortunately very much weeds and not only yesterday. That should nevertheless regularly be removed!

The hotel lies in a nice hotel, is clean and tidy. Even if it was booked up, you never hassled before. This year were very lots of russians and french tourists here. All very quiet and unobtrusive.

The hotel is directly at the beach. The city Corfu is just 10 minutes' drive from the hotel. A taxi costs approximately 15 €and in the old town you can lovely strolling, shopping or eat out. The airport is 20 minutes away from the hotel.

Environmentally friendly, well run hotel. For cleanliness is gweachtet. Rich breakfast and dinner buffet. Lots of regular guests, Long-standing motivated staff.
