The view from the deluxe room on the sea is great and idyll poor. A hotel's own footbridge with bar and beds leads on the sea out. The location at the southern end of patong is great. Not too far from the middle of everything and yet very quiet.
Every room offers a great view of the bay. Breakfast leaves nothing to the imagination.
The rooms you can see clearly, that the hotel has gotten old. A new fresh coat of paint would some relieve.
Free wireless internet only in the lobby. Wireless internet in the room is liable to pay the costs-very poor. read more

We have 8 nights with breakfast amari coral beach and to have us super well.
Massive choice at the breakfast buffet and the sea view- this is what I call a successful start to the day. There are two pools, the were very nicely arranged, also with a sea view.
A private bathing beach the hotel can not offer, but however a jetty-the jetty-on the loungers are available and the also access to the sea offers.
The beach patong did not please us, the hotel offers but a free shuttle bus for 15 minutes away Kata beach in karon. This ... is similar to crowded ( especially of russians) however the sea there is superb.
You can the center patong very easy to reach on foot ( approximately 20 to 25 minutes) or with the small trains what about 200 bht costs.
Altogether we were thrilled by the location: a bit isolated from the touristy, on a small anhöe in the south patong yet shops /restaurants/clubs very easy to reach.

From the room over the staff to booking excursions everything was there and everything was good. Only the hotel-internal prices for eating and drinking and trips are relatiov high. The hotel has a peaceful location on a rocky cove. Nevertheless you can on foot in 10 minutes the lively Patong reach. One about 150 meters long, hotel's own Jetty (jetty) gives it also at low tide a good bathing possibility in the sea. This jetty can be reached via a beautiful laid out footpath in about 10 minutes from the hotel.

Location: at the southern end of patong beach, quiet located on a slope. From the hotel around 10 minutes away on foot to the center patong beach, in front of the hotel always stand small trains available (200 baht one way ).
Hotel: lovely area, furniture getting a bit old, but clean. In one of the more remote sections were two rooms renovated, I am a open door walked past and the finished room looked very nice and brightly from. Especially worth mentioning: fantastic mattress! ( room 5301).

in conclusion a backpack tour by Southern Thailand I am flugbedingt still for three days on Phuket landed. The Amari I would than saving grace in a apart from that terrible environment have called. The hotel makes a maintained impression, several apartment buildings are on a slope built, all rooms have view of the sea, facilities and cleanliness were immaculate. The room requirement, in advance to the hotel faxed, was 100% fulfilled. The intercontinental breakfast was respectable. One sat in the lower part of the plant( almost directly at the water front ) and had a great view. The audience ... was international and mostly with behavior equipped. In patong also completely different looks (.) as a tip for a pleasant day on the beach one of my previous speaker the Bay of tri Trang recommended thank you! I can only endorse. Quiet small Bay, little audience. The drive with the small trains costs from Amari outrageous 300 Baht. These are 7,50 euros for a little over a mile walk. I am here on foot now, back (at low tide) you can right at the waterfront on the rocks boots. You can go on the hotel jetty. In short: I see no reason for twelve hours to fly, then on Phuket spend your holiday. The original Thailand here is not much left. At all corners is rip-off. Price structure as in Europe, charm and urlaubsflair not/almost not available. The short residence time, as well as the good tip on the bay, it was bearable. Luckily I had prior to wonderful days on Samui (not Chaweng) and phangan. Who definitely after patong would like, should the Amari into the closer choice would pull. It was good. read more
