We had a nice relaxing weekend in february - the hotel was very empty and it was therefore very quiet and relaxed.
The density beach location was perfect, no 5 minutes and kilometerweiter beach. Great!
El Cotillo is still fairly originally, a walk towards the Castell and surferstrände worth it-about 15 minutes from the hotel. The Castell is great - visit!
Check-in was great, room big enough, unfortunately quite noisy despite fewer guests. In the next room a snorer the last 3 nights of hell-it was terrible.
Food was fine, unspectacular, something for everyone - but usually not warm enough. ...
We had al - Sprite and Cola were not original, the wine cheap wine. Oh well.
The place is a large supermarket, you could (wife) good shopping. Bus stop around the corner, we are a day to Corralejo for shopping went.
Weather was good, pretty strong wind-but a few beach days were in it.
We didn't use the pool. Other guests came from England and french and older german.
Service ok, with 30 people was also not so lots to do.-)
So, recommended, off-season (high season there is safe evil fully), drawbacks with the food, but great location to the great beach and a nice homely village. read more

We really enjoyed the vacation, especially we have the peace and quiet in the hotel and near the hotel enjoyed. It is unfortunately good food badly prepared are. A good chef, with the offered foodstuffs, the level of meal times increase substantially. Keeping the food needs to urgently be improved. An existing microwave we do not see as solution. The dining room and the bars are so uncomfortable, that they are not to stay a while inviting. The staff were very friendly.

We spent 7 days in El Cotillo and had luckily a rental car. A rental car is urgently recommendable, if you have a lot of the island wants to see not only time in the hotel to spend wants.
Overall the hotel was ok. The cleanliness in the hotel is not to complain about.
Breakfast is with a german breakfast not comparable. Lunch and dinner were varied, but the quality was mediocre.
Although the hotel is not to 100% perfect, however you could here some points of criticism of other reviews not complain.
For three stars and a quiet beach ... vacation the hotel is great. read more

El Cotillo is a very nice place - the beach is brilliant! The hotel Cotillo beach is optically ok. But please never book all inclusive - that is unacceptable! Breakfast is befriediegend but the bar drinks and the buffet absolutely poor! read more

The negative reviews to eat (cold food) and to the hotel (not german-speaking staff) we couldn't confirm.
We believe these utterances exaggerated negative, perhaps, because it is a insider tip is and should remain!
We had a very pleasant experience (daily two sorts fish and meat in a quiet international atmosphere, 200 metres to one of the most beautiful beaches of europe 'la concha', white sand of black lavasträngen enmarcado, initially december distributed each about 100 people in the book north and about 50 surfers on wellenreichen beach south of Cotillo).
Both in the hotel, as well as in town ... we had contact with very friendly and very helpful people.
We were allowed a very nice, quiet and in addition to convenient holiday in this hotel experience. read more

The complex is with about rooms, spread over ground floor and 1st floor (ever with a terrace/ balcony) arranged and nevertheless spacious enough, to as a guest for itself to be. The whole complex is very clean. Room was comfortable, everything in good condition. As all inclusive -guests we could breakfast in the morning, us the whole day to evenings 23 hours drinks get and afternoons and evenings also eat. It were too many french there, also English and German, as well as spanish. The average age was the first days with middle 30-40, the last days under 30 (we ... are 29 + 39). Due to the arrangement of the unit as a 'framework' for the pool-/ gardens around, one is on the complex but clearly wind than outside. Therefore also the rooms too many with a pool view instead of with a view of the sea. You have view of the sea, so a room to the west side out, the wind can sometimes be enormous, as you could enjoy the wonderful complex. read more

My sister and I have the hotel spontaneously and only afterwards the hotel reviews read. Thus we were quite shocked and were expecting a lot with the worst. However we were in the positive surprised. Ok yes the staff speaks only English, for us the problem. The staff were very hard-working us everything in English explain and the not functioning key card immediately exchange and for the day of departure a small lunch box together, as we could have breakfast not more.
The waiter in the restaurant also told us directly on the first day, that we are now at ... the water dispenser free use, while soft drinks must be paid. We begnügten us with water and paid at the end nothing.
I found it also didn't bother us, or negative criticism worthy, that the tables not before set, but each guest cutlery, drinks and napkins ourselves had. However is the selection and the quality of the dishes really not good. It was evenings, since we 2 warm dishes and salad limited. However full we are always from the dining room and I would gladly meet, the at home more choice at the site has. Whoever expected more, the bay but directly 5 stars, the food couldn't all taste. And also the music, the playing, yes music is exactly it tasted/not everyone likes. We could the one hour per day good endure.
To the pool one could say, that it was very nice, especially not lots of guests there were, probably, because it was very windy and therefore in the shade it was a bit cold. We have the great beach preferred. Nevertheless we were a few hours to by the pool and the vacation actively spent. It is definitely recommendable not only the couple Meters to the beach to walk, but also times across the city to the beach at the steep coasts. Here is a strong surf, but it is worthwhile. And so avoid the ' terrible pool'with the' too loud music' (which we never noticed would have, if not a guest loudly sung along would have )-)
Our room was reasonable. Super important, since one on vacation nothing other has to do, when the whole day television: there was a few German program. We had RTL, Satellite. 1, ARD, Eurosport, Euronews, VOX and super RTL. Ok the beds not changed daily. I would at home also not. And I take after each drying not a new towel, therefore we saw now not a problem, that we have every second day fresh towels got. My own I had 14 days daily in use. Even if the cleaning of the rooms every second day, she was thoroughly and quite reasonable.
The bathroom was also reasonable.
The hotel has a good location in relation to the 'children's beach' as we have mentioned. White sand bays no current and shallow water. We could everywhere is possible before the lava rocks came. So the perfect beach for families with small children. We preferred the larger beach with the strong surf, even if we regularly with sand filled in were. This beach is a bit further away, but we combined the Supermakrtbesuche with the Standbesuchen, since we the way twice wanted to do. There are also 2 small supermarkets, one of them right on the hotel, but they were then a bit more expensive. Apart from that there was a few restaurants and smaller ' Allerleiläden '. A bus stop is directly next to the hotel the line 8 runs in the next places. We have 5,90 Euro for two people for a 45 one-minute bus ride to Corralejo paid. The place is, and remains, has small but for a beach vacation. And the two beautiful different beaches are clearly a reason as to go back. read more

The food is not enjoyable. Always cold, obbwohl not lots of guests were there. The staff no word of German, only Spanish or broken English. Entertainment no, very good for the pool to lie and nothing to do. Definitely a car rent! The cleaning specialists have not every day the room cleaned. We would not want more to this hotel go. read more

The first impression is not barely great!
Dining room: plastic cups and washable Tablecloths, food was often lukewarm, little variety however tasted reasonable.

The hotel has a pleasant size. We had all-inclusiveServices.
The largest part of the guests are English (90%)-but they were always in a good mood and friendly.
The room is big enough. The bathroom with tub.
The balcony ... was to the side of the road towards the sea.
The rooms and the whole area is very quiet at night.
The beach is here in cotillo very nice, clean and lots of space. On the whole island there is no better Squares.
Friendliness of the staff (dining room and room service) is really good.
If you only complained, you will not be able to expect, that every need is fulfilled. read more

This is a 7-year-old Spanish category three star hotel. The hotel makes at first sight a likeable impression.
Its charm power especially the size ( small) from. It has only 130 rooms spread over ground floor and first floor and a pretty Lobby. The inner courtyard, in which the beautiful, but in January natural cold pool, you can reach directly over the lobby.
during our first week of vacation were too many british vacation guests, as well as some German, and a French couples in the hotel. In the second week turned the guest structure and it arrived more German ... and French. During our stay were only 1-2 children in the hotel.

The cotillo beach is a small area, the at first glance a good and new impression power. However left the cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. The toilets in the reception area have no light( what a blessing.) and stink as an ape! There is no lift in the hotel. Staff spoke only Spanish and very broken English. BTW very rude! Age structure of the guests was very mixed.
Even on new year's Eve the hotel was maximum at half full. Except for a few German and a niederlänisches couple only English the lowest league. From lunch blue ..., loud and very rude. With Schainsland, we have the responses were then garment and we were put off every day to day. read more

Hotel is recommendable. Cotillio is a quiet site with peace and not too much Hustle and Bustle. We were to Moutainbiken there. The South is however rather suitable. We had all-inclusive and the food was good. Christmas it has a special given. Very, very good. Unfortunately you could the water not in the water bottles for traveling and in all-inclusive there was also no prepared packed lunches. read more

The hotel has about 130 rooms, of which during our stay about 30% were full. Therefore, the volume was without complaints.

El cotillo is a tourism verschonter place. If you want to experience something at the evening, is in the wrong place. No hose end or party. (Long) impressive landscape and a more lively Atlantic Ocean. For surfers nice. The place to get away with the bus the hotel has a nice lobby. The staff is friendly, rooms are chic. The cleaning was not every day (which didn't bother us persons). Towel change was unfortunately only all three days. The big drawback was the much too small for the bed sheets (except for one move at night). Entertainment was on a ... very low level, but hard. Traditional bar in the hotel you can also do not speak. read more

Absolutely recommendable Hotel. The three-star, not all categories six suns be achieved, however, I was at the price/performance ratio very surprised at how good the hotel was. Small departures there are only for the location. Cotillo lies very far out of the way, however I was aware prior to arrival and I had two weeks a rental car (best from Germany book!-for example ADAC). Small note: Although the hotel cotillo beach hotel does not have its own beach. The small beach is a ten minute walk north of the hotel, the large, much nicer, 15-20 minute walk south of cotillo. ... Alone for the rental car was worth it! Top-destination were the dunes of Corralejo where the South white sand gently into the ocean blue. Simply a dream, if you are staying away from the hotel.
