Hotel Vega^{(5 stars)}

The rooms are functional furnished. The mini bar was filled up daily (on price with water, beer, Coke, Fanta, peanuts and candy bar). A telephone in the bathroom and the one on the bedside table is certainly one too much, but better than none. Also complimentary are the safe. Balcony and air conditioning equally to the standard of the hotel. Logical that the rooms were cleaned every day and cleaned up. About the cleanliness with us we couldn't complain.

How it should be for a 5 -star-hotel. The dishes were freshly prepared. The main restaurant is the largest part of the buffet (with vegetables, soups, salads, meat/fish, fruit and cake). Absolutely fantastic. You can only food, food, food.

Just over the top, and the service. The receptionists spoke several languages, friendliness is paramount there anyway. If there were any questions or problems always tries to help you. As is his own manager to allow all the wishes of the guests. The rooms got daily thoroughly cleaned, most gorgeous decorated. Laundry service and childcare facilities are also available, but we didn't use it. To make any reason we didn't have any complaints, but I assume that these (so there are any) immediately be repeated. suggestions of the guests are thankfully accepted and, if possible also put into practice.

It was every evening live music and was also great, at the weekend was fashion show from Catalin Botezatu (it was hammer WICKED!!!!!!!!). There was a salsa dance party on the weekend -- non stop. Fitness center and Gym facilities aren't think, or I did not get too much. Pool in green area, very nice, but had not used. Were the whole time in the sea.

The area is a little gem!!!!! Hotel was in a super condition I would say very luxurious. In front of the hotel are thick cars as Ferrari, maserati, Porsche, BMW x6, x5, Audi A 8 , U.s. w.....Also many guests are from Bucharest, Ukraine, Germany, England, Italy. It is served by the staff always on cleanliness - anywhere!

Everything was and top!super nice beach in front of the hotel, it was situated directly at the beach. The beach chairs and umbrellas were in a Super 1 excellent condition. It is also served at the beach, different drinks (everything), ice-cream, coffee, you can also fruit plate, such as pizza (very delicious, unlike in DE).

The rooms are tastefully decorated, TV with flat screen tv and also German channels. The available in-room safes are included in the price. Mini bar and telephone were also available of course. The bathroom was very clean. The nicest is of course the sea view which all rooms also have it. A room service you can also take advantage of.

The hotel has a restaurant where breakfast and lunch is served, depending on whether you with half board. For breakfast there were not only croissant and boiled eggs to choose from, but also all salads and Romanian specialties. The same thing with lunch, several dishes from the finest will buffet. There are also three bars, one on the ground floor, a piano bar on the 8th floor. Floor with terrace and there was also a beach bar on the private beach. The friendliness and attentiveness of the staff in the hotel Vega should you as a guest at least treat yourself with a tip.

You can't forget that Romania in terms of tourism in its infancy. That being said, the staff is very friendly and tried the guest to do it justice. The hotel entrance is from the concierge holding the door and after the check-in the luggage brought to our room. In the restaurant the waiters at the reception and they'll even from the restaurant chef personally greeted. The rooms are cleaned daily, on request, they even twice a day so in the early evening. On request you can also dirty laundry done for a small fee. In the case of cases, the hotel has its own medical emergency service and a pharmacy.

The swimming pool you get from a so-called pool man a towel and allocated a one with an umbrella, so was thankfully no racing to the best beach chair. Such experience I sadly in some Spanish hotels. The beach is reminiscent of Mamaia way to the Playa de Palma on Mallorca. The hotel is right on the 5 km long and about 300 meters wide sandy beach of Mamaia and has it's own private beach with pool chairs, included in the price. For children there is a favorite in the hotel's kindergarten service from staff. In Mamaia plenty of shopping and numerous supermarkets. There are also some in Constanta large shopping center. In the rooms is available in the lobby, and complimentary Internet access.

The hotel Vega is completely newly renovated and had 8 floors. I had a quiet double room for one person in the 7 . Floor with great views of the sea and the long sandy beach, fine sandy bottomed up to city Constanta attracts. In the whole hotel the cleanliness is important as I got the impression. I stayed half board and was from the numerous choice at the buffet breakfast is very surprised. In the hotel Vega mostly wealthy Romanians spend your holiday in the capital Bucharest, business people as well as families with children. But also a few German guests.

The hotel was located directly on the sandy beach of Mamaia. Mamaia is the largest resort at the Romanian tourist with many hotels of all categories. The airport to Constanta is approximately 25 km away. I am with Air Berlin flew from Munich to Constanta, once a week they have flights. The hotel offers an on-site Vega shuttle, but needs to be booked separately and of course comes at a price. But in use and all with a Mercedes limo picked us up at the airport and brought back to the airport. The cheaper alternative was a taxi for about 20 euros to use to get to Mamaia. There are also some private shuttle provider, the vacationers relatively inexpensive Constanta pick up from the airport. Constanta has approximately 400,000 inhabitants and has some sights in the city center, restaurants, and cafés, along a picturesque waterfront.

The rooms are fairly small for a 5 star hotel, decorated quite nicely. The bathroom has a shower stall. The air conditioning worked quite well, but only when the room card was plugged. The TV there are 3 -4 channels in German. There is a lovely balcony, plus a mini bar and a safe.

The food was very good, there were daily different buffet. Meat, rice, pasta, fish ... for 5 star would be but maybe a little more extensive have been nice. The quality, cleanliness and hygiene was in order. There was the buffet local as well as international dishes. The atmosphere in the dining hall is good, but it was nice to eat outside, where sometimes quite limited space consisted, although the hotel is not really was fully booked.

Although you tried is the service was not quite up to the standard of a western 5 stars hotels. However, the rooms were always clean and towels were changed daily. At the front desk was English were no problem, for other staff there were a few lighter communication problems.

There was no entertainment, which was positive. Internet in the room (with TV or cable) cost extra, in the lobby is WLAN was for free. With a little luck you could even wireless internet signal near tv. There is a beach bar where partly in early afternoon very loud music until 2am, although there were hardly any people. The pool was clean and pool chairs were metal by the staff then with cushions and towels. We only went to the beach one day, because it was the end of August has always been very windy and cold, especially in the afternoon.

The hotel has been recently remodeled and makes a very nice and modern impression. The condition of the area was all very good. The lobby with a small lighted "waterfall" - a Granite wall on the water in a small pool. Very nice atmosphere. The parking lot is very large and there is security, however, as a day to parking problems Powerboat World Championship and any fashion show fell on a weekend and it was very busy. With half board was not as you may could not do justice breakfast and dinner included, but breakfast and lunch! During our stay the guest structure was 95 % from Romanians, and the rest was mixed: Germans, Americans ...

The location to the beach is hard to beat. Less than 50 meters. To the center Mamaias its still a very easy foot way of 10-15 minutes, as the hotel at the end of the promenade. It was better to Constanta take the car. The nearest airport, for booking flying over HolidayCheck would have been Bucharest, which again about 200 km away which has us compelled to arrive by car.
