Modern hotel. Location not directly in the city centre, however very good traffic connection. metro and tram approximately 200 meters. 600 meters to to the sea. 200 meters until the next shopping center with many restaurants and shops. Breakfast tastes very good. Selection is appropriately. The cleanliness in the bathroom was however in the past neglected and is now also with great care with the cleaning not completely eliminate. The hotel are really very nice. It is a bit out of the town center, however only 8 minutes from the beach ( the way was really not far). So if you a city break with beach vacation want to combine is in the right place in this hotel. With the subway it was about altogether 8 subway stations into town ( one change). The breakfast is very sufficient, there was actually everything which one in a städtereisenhotel need ( muesli, yoghurt, fruit, sausage, cheese, scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, sausage, bacon, sweet pastries, different bread rolls).
The rooms are also ... very nice, unfortunately only 2 German program ( Eurosport and RTL) but it is usually. Just round the corner of the hotel is a huge shopping center, there one gets everything, that you need ( approximately 5 minutes out). So I can really recommend the hotel!
But still a small warning: fits well your valuables in Barcelona on, especially in the subway and above all if you go there with suitcase on the way are. Never your purse in the trouser pockets stick. A guiding you and the other you do the budget from the bag.
You can also with the taxi to the airport drive, costs circa 35 Euro with luggage. read more

The hotel is on the edge of the city though, but nevertheless centrally located. The train, as well as the shopping center is in 5 minutes to reach. The city center is only 10 minutes and to the beach takes you only 5a 10-minute walk.
The hotel is great for a city -beach combination suitable. I found it just a pity, that the rooms no balcony and that the hotel no pool has, however the beach was a great compensation. read more

This hotel I can most warmly recommend. In the immediate area one is subway station and several bus stops. A huge big shopping center is equal to around the corner. The staff are very friendly, and if you with its legs no problems you can without great expense at the beach along to to the center walking (about 5 kilometer). A little tip: definitely the 2 -day ticket for the tourist -bus buy (27,60 euros in the internet), the hotel lies directly at the green route. This means you can enter in the bus and to the center drive ..., without to solve a map for the public means of transport. read more

For a city break great hotel, location a bit out of the way in a quiet District, footpath approximately 5 to 7 minutes to the sea. Metro station approximately 3 minutes on foot, center and other Sehenswürdigkteiten with public transport therefore very gutnzu reach. Friendly, helpful staff. We had to keep the first night next to the engine room of the air conditioning ( hell traffic noise) spend, then the room changed. We were in a smoker's room to the loud street bundled, because allegedly no non-smoking rooms were free (6 nights). The you won't have to village. read more

Bright, modern, tastefully furnished, everything was a bit austere, but we liked it. Good beds, everything very clean. Only some small flaws: the bathroom door hung crooked and hauled on the floor, on the shower always ran the water from the Badewasserhahn and in-room safe did not work. The hotel is situated in a somewhat sober district ... (diagonal) with many new buildings. The lots of construction works in the area, on photos a users to see, have disappeared. We have seen at least no.
The access to the subway is super. Only a few meters to reach the station Selva de Mar. From there you are in about 15 minutes in the old town. And to the sea it is also only 10 minutes on foot.

Except wallet and passport were stolen, I would say good! Except difficulties with being understood, if you don't like I perfect English! Security is during the day near the front desk, but not in the evening the room when I checked in! We booked with FTI.
Have therefore much trouble and Nervenbelastung!

We were from 30,03 until 07-04-2012 in the hotel Vincci Maritim Barcelona.
It is a very clean and new hotel. The staff are very friendly and always willing to help to help. You reserve also gladly a table in the restaurant or give tips where you can go. Our room (2nd floor ) was always very clean cleaned up and when you new bed sheets wanted this was also without problem changed. The breakfast buffet had a sufficient offer, you could every day something other food. There was warm and cold food ( salads, Omelets, cakes, eggs, Champagne, fruit ... juices, Teas, coffee). Because the hotel in the Congress and forum area Barcelona is, it is very quiet in the evening. The hotel lies cIRCA 3a 5-minute walk from the metro (line 4) and you need only 10 to 15 minutes to the old town ( simple travel costs 2 euros, two days 13 euros, tenner card under 10 euros). Which was ideal for us, for the sights of interest from Barcelona to reach. To the beach there was just 10 minutes on foot, to relaxation wonderful is. We are often the beach promenade along walked to barcelonetta or in the evening from the old town to the hotel to go. As the promenade just one and a half kilometer long, for us it was a small walk along the sea. Especially at night with full moon and the sound of the ocean very nice.
The next big shopping center is just 500 meters from the hotel and through the Nobelhotels Hilton, Princess and Maritim a good appeal. There is also good restaurants and options for shopping.
The hotel lies the routes the city buses (green and blue line, costs: a day per person 24 euros) and on the tram line. Thus you have the possibility to even with other public Funds to go.
The hotel itself is good 40 minutes from the airport way. We are with the taxi dangers, since we are the change with the bags wanted to save (costs between 32 to 45 euros). We would also recommend it to take a taxi. We have German met, the experience made, with the change from the tram in the metro were stolen. This is the only downside from Barcelona, it is very often and much stolen. All women, the handbags love should prefer at home leave. No backpack carry, they will be cut and the contents stolen. In case one hunger or thirst gets in Barcelona there are enough cafes, bars or small supermarkets, which offer. Especially there are tea and coffee from 1 euro!

the hotel is for a city break to Barcelona absolutely sufficient.
it is modernly decorated, you can see however the decor of the room that the hotel already getting a bit old is. The rooms are relatively large only the beds are a bit hard. The bathroom is the eye-catcher, really nicely done. The service staff was very friendly. The breakfast the we additionally booked had was absolutely sufficient there was something of everything rolls, Baguette, croissants jams, Honey, sausage and cheese cakes, fruit even salad yoghurt and muesli fresh coffee and fresh juices were there too.
the hotel lies ... somewhat away/outside of Barcelona but that is not a problem with the Metro you can wonderful rEACH. All together a good hotel for a city break!
TIP: shopping center Diagonal Mar directly by the hotel 5 minutes away very nice, also as soon as possible the Barcelona card-with this you can metro and bus used as often as one would like. As in Barcelona, but it is so, as soon as you from the public. Transport contracted out is must one a new card and this costs every time 2 euros -Barcelona card for 4 days costs 40 euros in addition there was still plenty of discounts and free entries as for example at the chocolate museum and so on but don't let yourself be surprised. read more

We have a new, modern, comfortable hotel found with ideal connections: bus station in front of the door, five minutes walk to the beach (to the harbor and Barceloneta about 30 minutes) to the metro L3 (5 minutes drive city center) about three minutes super friendly, extremely helpful staff at the front desk! We once ate breakfast at the hotel, because it is a special price quote was. The breakfast buffet was very varied, with everything, which one needs, tea is now not so important. Otherwise the breakfast in the city is cheaper. We noticed, that it was very quiet ... in the hotel is, you can hear no morning doors or shouting late at night in the hallway. The beds are large, have a comfortable level and are very comfortable. With room high windows and a room on the third floor, we had a really nice view of the terrace and the swimming pool, a sea we could also catch. The room our boys had view of the sea! There is a stylish bar, where we are opposed to 23 o'clock a farewell drink taken have, however, we were the only guests and you can tell the waiters at, that he wanted to closing time. Conclusion: price performance ratio due to the quiet but central location and the beach was great and because of the nice staff highly recommendable! Nice, very clean and tidy hotel with good connections to the metro (Selva since mar). Shops are in the form of the center diagonal mar very close. Also the park right on the hotel is not bad.
