The hotel is at the end of Brienz convenient and very sweet and with a lot of wood designed. It has more than a restaurant. Everything was clean and the staff was very friendly. We booked the hotel with breakfast. It had very many ltalian/french and a couple more german. read more

Very friendly and helpful staff. On the day of the trip there we could the room already at 11:00 o'clock refer. The room was huge and the location of the hotel directly by the lake very nice.

In my offer included half board was great and I was glad, as it on the last evening a fondue was, since this is a specialty of the house and especially the region. Very friendly service and the information of the juniorchefs were very helpful and really nice. In case it budget moderate once again it is my home gladly again. read more

This was our sixth visit to the Brienzerburli for the New Year's Special Arrangement and it is a bit like coming home! We usually meet other regular visitors and the welcome from the owner and family is warm and sincere. Our room was as usual warm and comfortable and we never left the restaurant feeling hungry! We made use of the free bus transport to the small ski resort of Axalp and walked the snow-hiking trail. The hotel trip to the Swiss open air museum at Ballenberg with hot mulled wine in the snow is a regular treat. A "Swiss ... evening" with cheese fondue is also a favourite of ours. We visited nearby Meiringen, home of Meringues, to experience the "ringing-out"of the old year by the "Trychelzüge" processions of drums and large cow-bells. The New Year's Eve dinner with live music is a wonderful high-point of the holiday and the New Year's Day brunch is enjoyed by all the following morning. We can hardly wait for next year. It is a comfortable hotel, for some days of peace and quiet. It is located in the village of brienz output, right on the lake. The view is amazing. There was enough parking spaces, but you can also take the public transport to be picked up. Only the one--( Konny?) from the show's Eve cause can make music, but never sing. read more

The view of the lake was fantastic-that was it however already. In the bathroom there was mold on the ceiling, tiles were missing. Very easy and very old. Terrace was dirty and cheap plastic furniture. The decor is dated. Mini CRT. Everything was outdated and temporary impression. On the way to the room had the smell in the hallway intensive fat from the kitchen, the tile geschichteten carpets was firmly established. The breakfast buffet made no particular fresh and lovingly decorated impression. Sausage was easily tarnished and occupied by some flies. Eggs you had to cook yourself. Price-achievement for 190 ... Franc everything else than adequate. read more
