The hotel is really very big and it has a very lots of guests. Amazing is however, that one can still not in a factory has (except for the food, s. below). This is the really smart architecture to owe: the high building nestled in the hillside, at the complex with the beautiful garden is built. Furthermore, on the other hand, that army troops on staff, the always very polite, always greets, and despite all the stress (also on end of the season) always a certain cordialness noticably. Chapeau! The standards in terms of cleanliness, functioning of the installations (technically ..., sanitärisch ) and service are always fully met! read more

    We had a room with a garden view-but we got one with sea view. Wonderful and quiet. You should be 8., not a room in the direction street to get, since it could be louder and forth. As usual rattle air conditioners very noisy at night-if it has and you the windows open. Otherwise: for Italy (sorry for the bias): everything works perfectly, well, just, always everything clinically clean.

    Plain and simple: great italian cuisine, and morning, afternoons and evenings. Salad : every day everything, what a salatfan could wish for Antipasti buffet: very extensive and diverse, that one daily only times 5 minutes orient had or the august delight could. Great and very well made. Hautpgang : and pasta daily at two locations possibility to fish and meat, every day new variants and types, always at the buffet or directly from the grill. Wow! Dessert : every day a new surprise, homemade. Simply the best! Great! Poignant was, that when the dessert buffet specially for zöliakiebetroffene without gluten delicacies produced. And the cooks were (navigate) proud. Great value! A small shade: it was just a lot of guests; and if the all together for breakfast come, it will be really narrow and there is already times waiting periods or the coffeemakers strike and the juice comes from. The same during dinner, where you are in 2 layers food: so as it was sometimes already somewhat ' raubtierfütterungs -similar' ; disturbing (but understandable) is then, that you'll the dining room or veranda wegklomplimentiert or just sometimes 'zeitsparend' food must.     All of the staff, professionalism and friendliness. I would like to mention, that a person with us celiac disease has. Never was a problem, always were alternative food, every waiters and küchenangestellte knew, what this is and could help or knew, where it receives information. Great! Most of the employees speak german or converse easily and clearly speaking with a good italian (in an emergency a bit of english)

    We were 2 times biking with a : really recommendable! First it was always approximately 30 to 45 minutes upwards from the coast -but then it is on a plateau and with little upward gradients kilometers' eat '. In comparison to Switzerland the drivers very considerate (the streets are anyway empty and little traffic). The swim in the sea is wonderful (beach clean and tidy). With small children not really suitable. The pool is not really for swimming, is only for swimming and splash around. Very good, if one has children thereby.

    The way to the beach over the stairs (not a problem, approximately 5 to 10 minutes) or the elevator (the a bit slow was). So you need to go for a 'rapid schwumm' but a little time. But you knew that beforehand and is already in the morning early with a beautiful view of the wide sea compensated. Excursion possibilities (i think ) does not exist so to hauf; so i did not go there for ' bildungsferien'. But we were not looking for that.

Great location, dreamlike view, very friendly and attentive serving staff ( even at the end of the season!) and a very interesting old town in short on foot to Reach! Elevator to the beach or about 140 stages. Beach for children not so good, as a bit Stony and approximately 2 meters too deep! Food for antipasti-, pasta -, as well as pizza-lovers delicious! read more

A relaxing vacation for me and my daughter. Food : the food was the best, there was a rich selection and very good quality The tastiest we found both the freshly baked pizza Room: was always clean cleaned and the size was adequate. After the eulogy from sonnenklar we were very disappointed. The bathroom was very dated. The food was very monotonous. Fish dishes and meat dishes very poor. The fish was for us not enjoyable, either overcooked or raw. The meat was thin as newsprint and always in a broth location. The staff did not respond to male. Guests, in short pants for dinner appeared. Somehow no standards for a four-star hotel. This was the longest week vacation, we have ever had. We were glad when it was over. read more

For a four-star hotel with lunch and dinner in the restaurant unfortunately only a fish- respectively a meat dish (too many Schnitzel). Evenings was still on the terrace grilled-sausages, minced meat. The house red and white house wine had very, very much acid-not for us enjoyable. In all-inclusive and there was a wine bar again a red - respectively white wine, the hope of more wine selection here could not be met. These wines were at least drinkable. In the le terrazze we were twice food. Here the food was tasted better, but the service was for a four-star hotel ... disappointing (food on the table were handed, service from the right and from the left, the plates were partly over the whole table pushed, although enough space available been to). For Italy untypical there was ice only two times a week free of charge - apart from that only at a charge. Can apart from that positive reviews do not share. read more

We can recommend this hotel, (not at the end of october beginning november) there is in tropea nothing more loosely, the rooms are big enough, partly also newly renovated, the air conditioning a bit noisy, could have used glasses better fit than paper cups also the safe would be free for the price. What we didn't like, the waiters partly on vacation was. Many a time we were mean looked at if we lunch at a table, the for dinner presented was (the dining room was still 1 hour to. Also in the beach restaurant the chairs were 1 hour ... before the end of the table tilted) that is not nice to watch one doesn't feel welcome. Please turn off. Apart from that it is a beautiful hotel. We would like once again to the manager thank you, we had a room on the countryside side booked, because my wife fear has completely down, after an e-mail contact we got a room on the 1 floor with a view of the sea.     We stayed in the family room to 4. accommodated. 2 double room with small corridor. Nice and big. Tv, mini bar, terrace, air conditioning, bath plentiful with a shower and windows. Everything was tiled. Every day room service, everything very tidy! Furniture rustic, timeless, absolutely okay.

Italian antipasti in any form, brilliantly prepared! Grill, soups, pasta, dessert, simply everything. This immediately water and vino from the very nice kelnnern at the table. Pool bar, beach bar, pizzeria at the beach. 2 restaurants with additional payment or you, al plus. Very clean everywhere, loved it! At certain times, of course, a big rush in the main restaurant, runs quickly. For tips a piglet at the counter. Room girls got extra of us.

    Everyone was very friendly from the gardener to the chef, the often his staff at work under the magnifying glass,. Almost all speak good german, but we wanted to more italian speak and all helped us! Room top reasonable doctor came on wednesdays to the hotel. At the front desk could one each time his concerns get rid of. Good team spirit, has also to the guests transfer.

    Entertainment inspite end of the season even very motivated. 2 times per day aqua gym. Volleyball on beach etc. by the pool very nice, every early cleaned, no loud music! Only for water gym. Pool chairs, showers, umbrellas, (towels every 2. to change by the pool), everything sufficiently available. Kids club was great! Girls from FTI club were very endeavored around their young guests. Naturally children disco every evening (with cd for at home) and saturday Evening a show. Thank you Nadine and Melanie! Each evening around 21:00 show at the Piazza from the animation team. Gala evening friday very nice! Also really great: the directore is all leading staff and welcomes the guests and makes on 2-3 rule which we found very good!

    Beach 5 minutes by elevator or stairs. Fantastic beach, sandy, little rocky. Bathing shoes especially for the price children! Caution at the water front, was suddenly very steeply downward! Airport shuttle about 1 hour. There are several excursions offered. Our highlight was the catamaran trip capa vaticano with Myriam and Thomas (owners a small sail/surf school) 4 h on turquoise blue water with just for snorkelling and the picnic in bay. Really top class also for the kids.! Otherwise are approximately 20 minutes away on foot in the historic part tropea, on own fist can discover a lot. Small hidden local, really worth seeing! Also pizzo is a small sweet place to stroll.

The hotel is in the television under sonnenklar. Tv being dumped. The mixing of the guest structure is therefore not very pleasant. The guests make in general not very happy impression. The offered food limited to a minimum. The side dishes were always the same and often exist from leftovers. The staff are except the front desk reasonably acceptable. The internet, as well as the wireless internet access is very old and slow. I rate families with teenagers from, to book this hotel. The sea is really clean. Respect: sea is not suitable for infants and non-swimmer. After a meters ... falls the sea steep! The beach is stony, you can beach not stroll. read more

Already years ago lionized a friend about this hotel in the highest tones before. This year in the autumn, it has shown, that I with my son here the autumn spend. We had unfortunately not the ideal weather, felt but nevertheless we felt comfortable all around. The rocca Nettuno tropea is very hard the guests their stay to sweeten. All are very friendly. Me personally our land view not so good and the next time I would gladly book a room with a sea view. My son could probably with the bad weather one of the or other times more ... than the two pcs desired, since some guests dauerbelagert goods and the Wi-Fi in the room didn't work. In summary I can only say, that we relaxing, quiet ( although the rooms already badly soundproofed) and relaxing days spent. read more

    The room is big enough. We had garden view in the house vulcano. Was very nice here the quiet location and the terrace. Air conditioning can be individually stopped. Tv was also available, with several German channels. Everyday the rooms were thoroughly cleaned.

    The all-inclusive offer was perfectly sufficient and was diverse. The tables were quickly cleared, so never full tables developed. At noon you could well be the beach restaurant recommend. Very good food and you'll save the way to the elevator to the top. The restaurant leterrazze we didn't use. A thick downside of however the calabrese wine bar. On our question, what wine us the service recommend, with a several bottles interpreted and we left. Neither asked, still offered something and nothing at all recommended. We went back and drank just the in the price continental wine further.

    The staff are friendly, sometimes they made but a rather annoyed impression. At the bar by the pool we were only once pointed out, German to order, because we are not in Italy are. It was sobering but on the basis of the many German also comprehensible.     The beach is on a short way through elevator simply and easily accessible. Tropea on foot on the road along about 20 minutes to the city center. The more beautiful way the promenade at the beach along, is however at the end with lots of stairs to tropea high a bit cumbersome and older people not recommendable. Now already to second time in the rocca and again it was relaxing and nice, especially the pool area and The entrance area newly decorated. Also very positively the new roof terrace, ideal for breakfast and Dinner. We had all-inclusive ultra plus and could also the exclusive restaurants of the hotel use ( very good Food in beautiful atmosphere) Only criticism, crappy animation, there is still much potential to above, they were but the waiters always in a good mood and up for a joke. Room with megabyte was okay, bathroom very small without counter space. The location is breathtaking with good outdoor areas. Staff at the reception and at the bar very pleasant, check in was very good organized. Restaurant with varied offer, only the cheese missing evenings. Service in the morning usually unfriendly and unmotivated, evenings against better. On the terrace was a grill but: the fish was impossible for example sole squished or nearly raw. The hotel has a very pleasant location directly at the coast. To the beach one arrives with a 2 lifts ( circa 30 sek travel time by) or the beach stairs (5 minutes downhill). It is quiet, but nevertheless very centrally located - good old town is well within walking distance. It is the photos the general on the internet to see. Food was all inclusive, guests too many older German (> 60), some austrians and swiss. Generally good clean and tidy, both the complex, as well as the rooms. Rooms are adequate in size and was completely enough. There ... are generally standard and deluxe room( see hotel-website). If you a beautiful room with a view of the sea has, then this is the in our opinion the half the battle-)! read more

    Mark, we want to at this point the Cappuccino! A cappuccino this quality you get in Germany so not. Very large cinema (beware, there is also drinks on the machine... Of which we can only dissuade)... Drinks always fresh at the bar get. The food is diverse and diverse. Next to pizza and various pasta, as well as lasagna, fresh various salads and much with seafood is actually something for everyone - no matter wether young or old. Big downside was in our opinion merely the breakfast. You can not with German breakfast or breakfast in Turkey comparisons. In addition to the general very good lunch and dinner, there are several possibilities, where you can enjoy your food. You must not extra from the beach again raising, just a bit to eat. Can be eaten so quiet conscience also down at the beach, and the we can really recommend. General very friendly staff, everything clean and tastes also very good. We tipped on the day of departure and so already times in between given. Mostly always smaller amounts, so around 1 to 2 Euro. With good weather can outside eaten-there is nothing more beautiful as a well-stocked plates, a small glass red wine and before the wide sea - really great view.

    The pool has a appropriate size and was always very clean-we have never - the sea is simply beautiful. General enough chairs available, so there also nothing must be booked in advance, etc. The sports program is quite funny, even if it is clear rather to the older aligns. The entertainment is generally quite hard, and above all they are not intrusive, like one it from some countries. If you said no, let A in peace, in the reviewer's opinion, the beach. Pub providers offer jet skiing and pedal boats and so on or site at (jet ski (1/2 hour 80€ ) - the prices are a bit steep. The evening entertainment program ( we had almost every night a Italian live music played ) was very large cinema-kudos. Otherwise there are at the beach a volleyball field ;-)

We were not for the first time here, and often again come. As correct relaxing vacation can only be recommended. The normal all inclusive-offer is completely sufficient, more than food is not! And the offer in the restaurant is plentiful and always delicious (+ 3 kilogram in 2 weeks). Outstanding is the friendly staff, we were after years still recognized and greeted enthusiastically.
