Hotel Umaid Bhawan^{(3 stars)}

For us one of the most beautiful hotels during our round trip a good value for money. The hotel looks like a lovely bell ' verkitschter ', haswinding small palace in a quiet side street, not far from the center in Jaipur. Always there new Niches and comfortable corners to discover. Highly recommendable the evening view from the rooftop terrace, where also a restaurant gave. ( but there is better). We sat evenings on a small indoor terrace with a swing and comfortable places to sit. To the hotel also includes a pool, we unfortunately but due to the temperatures ... couldn't use. The hotel was for Indian standards very clean and also the staff were very nice. The rooms ( with a safe) were adequate and also the bathroom with shower very spacious. Only downside, no shower cabin to the toilet. But apart from that really recommendable. read more
