Unfortunately we were with the cleanliness our room not satisfied, everywhere there was dust and cobwebs, and smelled very strongly of paint. You would the room after the renovation clean thoroughly. The breakfast was the only the fit. read more

We booked through sonnenklar a 3 days city break booked. Al we arrived have one unfortunately no reservation had, thanks sonnenklar. Since one considers, whether the book through sonnenklar really is.
In the advertising movie was renovated rooms was spoken. Our room was unfortunately not thereby, on-gequollene bathroom doors, chipped sink, that i was afraid it would break, mold on the tiles. That was unfortunately not the promised quality, the building also no three stars deserved.
The team was very young, i think, no seen over 30 years was old. However were all courteous and friendly.
The promised amenities were ... actually promotional items in the douglaseinkauf in the bag think, so nothing special, what did was the town, an excellent location for exploring and the rich breakfast buffet. read more

The worst hotel I ever in Europa stayed in! Room 111: strong moldy walls, toilet paper from a previous only in the corners wiped! Everything was dusty, mini bar developed, carpet in the staircase damp/not cleaned, view from the window on porch with scruffy Cigarettes Butts.
Note the front desk on the complaint on site: I write on...
Room and service thus for such a price range completely inadequate. A modern lobby for the beautiful pictures can not compensate for this! read more

Are of a 2-day stay at the Penta -hotel come back and are very satisfied. With appropriate offer we come certainly again again.
The review from Tatjana, the also this month there used, we cannot reconstruct at all.
Of course, the hotel is not a new building and the bathrooms come from the 70' it years. But everything was clean and well maintained. Of course, the tiles took some getting used to. But US it is simply more important, that we a clean and good state of the hotel find and not a new building, at the US in every ... corner of the dirt new and modern tiles entgegenschaut.
Also the reproach, that the buffet not replenished anymore, we just couldn't confirm. We have observed, that even at 9:45 o'clock - so 15 minutes before the end the breakfast-still absolutely sufficient fresh products - in this case fresh fried eggs-refilled and again at any time the sausage and the cheese are supplemented. There were not at all more so lots of guests in the breakfast room, so that ' it is' could accept.
Needless to say, the around 20 €for the parking for 2 days also gewurmt. But einseits the Innenstadlage of the hotel see and on the other hand also the price, when we Groupon for the complete package paid.
A day garage costs for example in the Dorint Hotel Köln at the fair even 19 €! And it is further from the city Cologne away, as the pentahotel in Trier. read more

Hotel with great location, directly at the old town - only few minutes on foot away.
The restaurants / lobby and the bar was very modern and chic decor-relaxed atmosphere to the be comfortable.
Only drawback - the very ageing room. Relatively small - very small bathroom and simply equipped - there helps the flat tv not much.
If the rooms are being renovated, a absolute top tip. But also so the hotel is for a city break recommendable. read more

Location centrally located, 5 minutes to the pedestrian precinct, 15 minutes to the Porta Nigra, 10 minutes to the cathedral, 10 minutes to the Mosel on foot.
Bus stop in right in front of the hotel.
By car 13 kilometer to the Luxembourg border.
Lohndender purchase there: gasoline, coffee, Tobacco products.
Europahalle right on the hotel.
The staff is definitely friendly and helpful, problem are immediately addressed and if possible taken care of.
Breakfast with everything, what tastes, breads etc.
Now to the unappealing, the rooms!
Outdated, urgently in need of renovation, but clean.
The bathroom with the charm the ... 70. Moss green and have already gotten very old, in short, for a hotel with this requirement simply unsustainable. No air conditioning, no mini bar and so on

The big advantage of the hotel is the central location.
I voted in favor of a small single room almost identical price as for a double room paid.
The single room was however of half as large. I recommend as a single person a double room to book. The furnishing in my room was OK, but also not new anymore, the beds in the single room are only 90 centimeters wide. read more

Close proximity to center makes the stay great. Best of the breakfast buffet. All the very best will quickly refilled should it once to run out. The hotel is furnished nicely, the very friendly and attentive staff. We will definitely next time again the Penta -hotel select. read more

If you a weekend if you want to experience where the bad mood prevails and design make up for everything, it is on the right address.
The designed entrance area makes the absolute Impoliteness a receptionist destroyed. The nice-intentioned reparation making concession (reimbursement of circa euro 10, -Tagesparkgebühren) of the friendly work-mates, could full picture cannot be saved.
Already during the check in was discourtesy, insolence and arrogance of said receptionist not to übertoppen and emotionally a reason to leave. This consistently negative feeling remained also with the whole stay.
The Kühlheit the receptionist we had in our mini bar ... desired, the furthermore not yet stocked. The possibility, various drinks and snacks but would have been of a machine in the corridor area can be purchased.
The booked comfort room was as this is not to see. Bathroom would be in need of renovation and it would also be nice if you the window open could without the curtain rod dismount to.
Informationenmaterial in the room regarding of the hotel there were none, a written review the satisfaction was not detectable. The general impression in our opinion was that there was no structure gave, which despite efforts of the young and friendly service Personnel in the restaurant confirmed. Although we at 18:00 o'clock a table had reserved we could 20 minutes no service staff and no other guests find. The menu was all right the tomato soup could here but somewhat warmer must.
Breakfast buffet left nothing to be desired inclusive Sektangebot!
Entrance area TOP, however the remainder flop!

Very well maintained building nearby the pedestrian precinct. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. The lounges are comfortable and cool decor. Negative Wi-Fi very expensive and parking per day 10 euros. Apart from that everything is close by. Small trip to Luxembourg is worthwhile (Zig and petrol). 20 kilometer up to the border. Drive to Luxembourg city (50 kilometer) to luxuryShopping, story experience well worth. read more

So: first introdution: we booked through sonnenklar tv or Big Extra -2 night/f at a great price of 49 Euro per per person-this is actually only the breakfast value without night! We can the worst reviews not even in approach understand. I believe, the entitlement of various people to be desired left-less the hotel. We were always friendly and charming service and got on all our questions always a nice answer. And whom the music in the lobby where appropriate too loud is (when we were there it was not the case but at another guest supposedly)-as we can only ... say: only speaking people can be helped: then you ask a question, the music a bit silent is made.
Often in the reviews the point of criticism the bathrooms. Admittedly, they are in relation to the stylish hotel (and of course in comparison to the other pentahotels) a small downside-but they are all this year and now times honestly: how long i think me with a towns trip please in the bathroom on? I will sleep there? No! So. Everything was good.-) read more
