You can only recommend the hotel. Special praise goes to the staff for the friendliness even if some people are not so in a good mood are. Would definitely stay again this hotel, as well as all other Ibis hotels book without hesitation. For the future all the best, stay like you since. read more

We had the hotel the night after a christmas party booked. The first impression was very good. The rooms an above all the bath was rather small, however for one night it was completely enough for us. The hotel was just a few meters from the stop 'barbarossaplatz' away, they came quickly into the city. The next morning we decided at 9:30 o'clock breakfast. The queue to the lift. A free table was far and wide not to see. After 30 minutes we had still no table and so we had breakfast in a cafe. The staff knew this ... problem probably already, since our complaint whilst checking out only with a ' aha annotated. Looks the breakfast however varied and tasty from. For the next year i would this hotel unfortunately not any more choose. read more

The hotel is at a main street where cars and the train passing by, that means it is noisy. But there is room in a inner courtyard and since it was bearable with the noise, one hears already but it was tolerable! I have never had a hotel room the was so small, but it is really unbelievable what you in facilities include. Double bed, tv, wardrobe, 2 bedside tables, table and suhl. The bathroom is amazing, as a couple we had no space in it and on the toilet one diagonally sit, because if you sit down would, of ... difficulties do you with the knee on the wall at, but also there is are packed in the smallest space everything available ( shower, toilet and washbasin) and a window. You can the windows unfortunately only cigarette butts, because it is very hot in the rooms! The railway station is just around the corner and in 5 minutes is one at the cathedral, so it was very centrally located and the trains all couple minutes. So, a super traffic connection. The breakfast buffet is very recommendable. There is rolls and bread, as well as croissants and pastry and also vegetables and fruits and as soon as something out brings the friendly staff immediately supplies. I can really recommend the hotel, I loved it, because it is so centrally located and the rooms clean were, they are not the biggest but that is no matter, as it is everything in it that you need. read more

My room was at the back in the higher floors. I would not recommend it as noisy call. A small flat screen TV, Flachkleiderschrank and desk are the design of the room. The places to put things are appropriate. I had despite single room a double bed. The mattress was very good. However would be for two people the room certainly too small. The bathroom was tiny. At the toilet, you can't just returned on the glasses sit, without the right leg the tiles to touch (I'm about 180 meters large). Showers in the cabin and use of the washbasin ... go. The breakfast for 10,00 Euro I didn't use. Around the hotel you will find a variety of bakeries, cafes and other shops. For business trips is also the traffic connections very good. The staff were friendly. Recommendation only for Schnäppchenbuchende. read more

Were 2 for 4 days and only a cheap hotel to stay looking for. The room, as well as the bathroom are although not very big but is everything new and to stay more than adequate. The restaurant looked good, but we have this not taken into account. Much there is to say, for a city break, it is perfectly. S-Bahn line is only 200 metres far away. read more

We are on saturday at 13 o'clock arrived and could the room immediately move in. The staff were normally friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was for 10 Euro really reasonable. The only thing which plus side, the somewhat small room - however for a weekend absolutely reasonable. read more

Had in the hotel a single room. Very very small room and also the bathroom what mini. Unfortunately was the bathroom nothing special clean. It stuck rest in the washbasin and in the shower. The breakfast was well arranged. For the category but OK. Disadvantage was, that the basement on the adventure were talking. What I now not really interested. Also comments as' Schmeiße ' now I found not at all suitably. So what can one also in the staff room express. The BAT was unfortunately funny at the front desk over guests the gay or lesbian and the CSD ... in Köln. The Coming was very nice and also accommodating. Even in case of any problems. My in short: there is better hotels in Köln that are less expensive and in the behavior opposite from guests professional are. Rather 10 or 20 Euro more spend! read more

Great hotel for visiting. Short walk to the city center ( maximum 15 minutes). Breakfast is not cheap, but very plentiful and delicious. Rooms are completely reasonable and very clean. From the room one has direct view of the cathedral. read more

Very good value for money. On foot one is in 10 minutes am Neumarkt in Cologne city. Ideal for shopping and nightlife, or events ( for example Christoffer Street Day, Carneval, Rhein in Flammen). Of course everyone knows, that Ibis no luxury hotel is, and the size of the room small and standardized is, but if you good and cheap want to stay, and a delicious breakfast estimates, the can this hotel book without hesitation. Rooms at the back, not to the street choose! Proof building, rooms are small, little storage space, but some hangers, good flatscreen tv. 4 light rail stations to Dom (= short haul). Several cafes and bake shops nearby, so you can take the overpriced breakfast buffet waive (10-€ per person). The only thing which was a bit of a hassle, the very small bathroom and little space for luggage, but this is a minor matter, we slept very well ( very comfortable mattresses) and good breakfast, the room daily immaculately cleaned! I stayed two nights in the Ibis spent. The location of the hotel is very central. One was right on the tram stop 'barbarossaplatz' from where one then also quickly at the train station is. My room was small but really alright. For one person it must not be greater. It was clean, the tv had many programmes and the bed was also comfortable. My room had the window to the inner courtyard on the 5. floor and it was very quiet and i could the window at night as well open. But i of another guest is, that it ... in the rooms to the street also nothing was quite loud. The bathroom is really tiny, but also there everything was clean and for one person enough. The breakfast i enjoyed and the choice for a 2 star hotel very big. read more

The hotel is very central! 2 minutes on foot one was at the stop 'Barbarossaplatz' -3 stops to the main station/ cathedral! At this stop are 3 baker, opposite Mc Donalds, kiosk and a REWE! Our room was very clean. However was the bathroom mini! If you as a little strong is, we didn't get in the shower or toilet. Apart from that it was very pleasant! We had a room to the backyard - to the street it was very noisy! In the next visit choose this hotel again! read more

the room was absolutely tiny. The bathroom (503 room) was so small, on the toilet sit down, without coming into contact with the tile walls. The bathroom had about 2-2.5 square meters area- large usually guests toilets in private houses! the complaint was done with ' was before so and so, and that's just not Sunday gleich' dismissed any Ibis is. The situation better the concierge was completely no matter. as burnt child iBIS hotels and lack of what beach towels regards, we have the luckily direct after the arrival reviewed, although we just drop off our bags-and there ... were no choice since. The complaint was however decent and processed, so that later hour at wiedereintreffen in the hotel also the beach towels on the bed Installations. the richness of the breakfast buffet was acceptable, the quality average. The coffee from the automat coffee sentence remains left in the cup, the sausage and the cheese at the edge slightly dried and waved, the orange juice tasted bitter and not as the Vaihingen (the marque beach large on the machine). OK for a short business trip, because it was very central and clean. Breakfast also ok, evenings a drink is also ( however rather it with to the room to take), although the possibilities for going out in the immediate area the also rather superfluous make... Dinner we anyway outside of the hotel to us... That was it than but also - mini -room and even smaller bathroom. read more
