It's a really right hotel for the first visit in The Big Apple - in the heart of the city. Excellent transportation connections, theaters, shops, clouds of languages in the air... It's cool to dive in this side of New York. And, of course, really good Marriott's quality. read more

This is a huge hotel just on the Time Square, the location is great, if you want to be in the middle of entertainment. But if you look for something more individual, it is not the right place. It is this typical american big hotels. I did not enjoy it too much. The lounge is crowded, the food is not good and you can be happy to get a table for breakfast. Interessting are the elevators and the system, but if you stay longer than two nights you just feel annoyed and even for a city hotel it is too ... lively. read more

Hotel is great for a city break in NY. The direct location on Broadway is ideal starting point for the visit of musicals, sightseeing, excursions and so on! Since the hotel in the most central place in NY is, you have to however also evenings with a certain noise level from the outside be prepared, as the windows not so like in Germany, especially insulated. This was for us however more of a sideline, at night because we anyway were very tired and fell asleep ;-)! read more

Does not exist lots to say... Simply super. You walk out the door and is right on the Timesquare.
There is also a private gym in the hotel and a nice restaurant in the 48 floor ( the restaurant revolves around the proverbial). read more

The hotel is on Times Square, Broadway. International audience. The hotel complex is huge, with theater and rotating restaurant on top. Came with a group by bus. Luggage became to the hotel brought, and I could instead of 16 hours already 12 hours check in on the 8th floor, over 10 counter at the front desk and 2 counter concierge. Room was on the 12 floor, posted by cunard,
Was a double room. Very clean, very large tv, but only us channels, large window on Broadway, only neon sign, no sun. Large bathroom, bath tub shower. Built-in cupboard, iron, coffee ... machine, safe.
Desk with internetanschluu, modem and wi-fi. 1 day about 16 $, but it was slow,
Only late faster. Breakfast not included, but on the 8 floor the crossroads a little expensive breakfast. But also shop for coffee and bel. Rolls and pastry. Evenings the the view for beer, wine whiskey and snacks. Great view on the streets. But 7. ave. And 46 st shops for breakfast, directly next to the hotel the juniors. Evenings very good steak and even pinot grigio. Everywhere theater and half an hour to the hudson, intrepid museum, ship tours, and Grand central on foot. read more

Excellent location directly on the Times Square, very central for all New York things to Do. Massive Marriott-hotel with the usual good, high standard. We received on demand a double room in the second highest,
The 44th floor, great.
Small disadvantage: nearest underground station is a block away, and suitcase roles then this distance through the city to the hotel. Internet in the room expensive (16.95 $per 24 h), which in week 34 not always worked. However the hotel was very accommodating. Internet in the lobby free. read more

The hotel offers almost everything, making it an pleasant city journey needs. Only point of the disturbed us somewhat is the pay internet access in room. We find, that in a hotel where the night around 200 Euro costs the Wi-Fi included should be. Meanwhile offers in Amerika each motel, even almost every restaurant free access to the internet at! read more

The hotel is in the middle of time Square, from our room we could right on the time square watch. The rooms are big and modernly furnished ( flat screen tv, safe, internet...). The rooms were also cleaned every day. No mold in the bathroom. Personally, I would the hotel visit again if I was in new York-Manhattan. Staff is great friendly. read more

For a city break in NY is this hotel very recommendable. We had a room on the 32nd floor with time square view and the view was gigantic. Large room, comfortable bed, extra Sofa, desk, safe, Ironing facilities, hairdryer, shampoo and Lorion are also available. A deduction, because in our room still Popcornreste to find and the toilet paper was not emptied. That must of course not his. But immediately. The front desk is also very helpful in the planning of free time, way to outlet etc.. read more

We are for years Patron in Marriott (Asien and Europa) and this hotel because of the one-time location selected. The great location explains the high room price. We are unconsciously in the era of ' Thanksgiving -feast' get involved, why the hotel was booked.
The room was with a view of time Square, apart from that rather 'old' and 'worn out'. The breakfast we didn't eat.
The staff whilst checking out ( at least 5 persons involivert ) was very pushy, which the tips wise.
We have the hotels 'next door' and also the rooms show in the next Attendance ... we would to the Belvedere (only a few steps from Times Square away) again. Not very cheap, but at least likeable and cheaper than the Marriott.
Definitely the hotel bar on the roof visit and a cocktail allow. The view is fantastic. read more

the hotel has 49 floors and approximately 2000 rooms but in the two upper Floors the revolving restaurant 'The view' houses is. The Marriot Marquis is right on the time square and offers thus the ideal starting point for a sightseeing trip.
This was our second trip to New York and our priority was to, a central hotel with breakfast to find. Our expectations were fully met or exceeded.
the hotel was clean, the staff is friendly and helpful.
the lobby, Starbucks, ticketcenter, American Express center and the restaurant ' Crossroads' is on the eighth floor.

Best location for Broadway shows

The hotel is located right on the time square and is the perfect location, if you want to visit the Broadway shows. The hotel has 45 floors (plus three rotor restaurant and bar). The lobby is 5 floor. Outside there is day and night very busy and noisy. In the hotel you can't really. At first we were on the 19 floor, after I complained about construction noise in the hotel we were accommodated in the 45 floor. Both rooms were good, well appointed and modern. A safe was available.
Tip: right in front of the hotel there is a ... tkts 'office ', in which you can buy discounted tickets for shows (30% to 50%) can. The office opens at 15:00 and you can only buy tickets for the same evening. The queues are very, very long, so at 2:00 P.M. queue. read more

Top location, huge. The additional costs were very high. We had a standard room. But this was old and not very clean. After complaining, there was a room change and a free breakfast buffet for the whole family. One notices, " You get what you pay for"
With the better rooms I can recommend the hotel... read more

Near the cleanliness there are potential! (essenesreste at tables and chairs, in the room open zuckerbeutel from the predecessor, and so on.). Without thin jacket is no stay in the hotel possible, since the air conditioning unabated. The location of the hotel made much again good.
