The whole hotel is on a very extensive area in a very nice gardens laid out. We had a deluxe room nr.543 on absolutely nothing to complain about there was. %blank% the condition as well as the cleanliness were outstanding, but we a previous assessment must agree, that it also gebäudeblocke there, which was very worn and old-fashioned are. Wireless internet in the room worked with the tv reception weather mostly was limited. About the guest structure can be said, next to 80% french also all other european nationalities was available.     We elected deluxe room there was absolutely no complaints. In short, clean, nice and everything available. However, as mentioned above there are also an older or unrenovated part of the hotel, the rooms we own assessment certainly for a 5 star resort had rejected.

    I only once to the positive. There was everywhere at the bars original drinks, at the beach chiling, original cans or bottles, and the everyday delicious and always sufficiently carbonic acid. Also here is in relation to cleanliness and hygiene nothing complain about. Taste is bekanntlicherweise different. What the food concerns, advertised through a 'high kitchen' was for us more than disappointing. Well a certain indian influence is also here recognize, but the varied and the diversity was the for our taste and for a 5 star hotel simply only miserable. Fish in the buffet every day only 'catch of the day', one has probably 14 days always the same fish caught. Otherwise somewhere carelessly mixed in again to find. Prawns, salmon, tuna and much more none. 14 days always the same salads, always the same two-three sorts of meat, a the other day in the change, cheap water ice from the plastiktöpfchen, usually only rice, one type of pasta with ready adulterated sauce, taste ok. 'our taste ', modest and everything, really everything without any atmosphere arranged. Even in the 'restaurant', there was only one menu to choose from. In the 4 hallways was fish only in the form of denaturing or ' gemaschtem' again to find, sorry two small north sea crab were in a farce of dr. hip. In the other 'à la carte' restaurant was in our opinion the selection and the quality either much better.

    The complete staff, our guess after mostly with indian roots was very friendly, attentive, not intrusive our personal opinion very unemotionally. We justify this statement, as we in the past 15 years mostly in Karibik our vacation spent. The people there are open, funny mostly good mood with lots of caribbean rhythms in the blood. A few a few speak german, but with english and french skills you got along well.

    There were three very well maintained tennis courts, a golfparkur, as well as a gym. We didn't use the pools, because here by the many kids present an all-day to high noise level was. Both the condition as well as the number of of the chairs and shade possibilities there were here but nothing to complain about. Due to the location of the hotel on a headland there was a beach a lagoon and the opposite of the open sea. We have certainly nicer beaches, a 'dream beach' you shouldn't expect and bathing shoes are recommended.

    The distance to the airport was just 10 minutes during the day the one or another plane about the hotel started we found not as unpleasant, rather again and again interesting to look at. There are a few shopping possibilities for the bare essentials in the hotel. The next larger city is maheborg, whose each monday instead of findender market as well as everything else us very dissapointed have. A connection there is with the taxi possible. Other alternatives once outside the complex walk to go does not exist.

In advance it must be mentioned that that i here a great vacation had experienced. But since we a very high price for this vacation paid, i had the claims which you of a 5 star hotel should have, if you need to stay in this price segment traveling. This has the hotel unfortunately not met, i can therefore no recommendation express. A nice but outdated area. You live in the rooms to room number 200, so you unfortunately not the pleasure of a renovated room access to must. We had a beautiful room (354) in the renovated condition. The ... hotel general is nice, but a bit dated. For my feeling no 5 star hotel more. The audience is very pleasant, the service was very good and always courteous. But if you the tropical beaches expected, the it must be mentioned that that here not met. Beaches in my opinion quite neglected, as well as the garden. It crumbles at the or other body which did not have to be. read more

    If you have a renovated room get, good. If not then one is definitely not enthusiastic. Something like that should not take it in no 5 stars house. The renovated rooms are more 'normal' and are in my opinion rather the 4 stars standard. The furnishings is good, it is included in the price wi-fi internet access (in the new refurbished rooms ) everything available.

    There were 4 specialty restaurants, whereby one with 3-year old child only 2 should visit. Is also okay so. The quality the food is great, but i would at the buffet more traditional variety. Sirius is in my eyes the best place, for a little from the hectic buffet to take. The all-inclusive offer is really good, here one can hardly call in things drinks/snacks is not possible.

    The service were always friendly, courteous and pleasant. Everyone was always tried everything right for the guest to realize. It is as good as any fluent english. Here you can all waiters really only a strong praise pronounce.

    The kids club is in my opinion a disappointment. It seemed very dearless and cool. Real entertainment for the small ones there is not. We had our small daughter (3 years) here from and to a bit for kids to accommodate. However sat on our visit 3 right unmotivated kid's in front of the television in an air-conditioned room. If this happens i can't say. We then but decided not to take advantage of it. It's a pity, you could but with so little money here on the hotel a great adventure for the small form. The gym i used daily-very old devices but everything was there for a little workout. The ergo devices are quite up to date and good.

    The hotel nicely located in a pleasant area. Around not happen much (rather nothing at all). But you can without further to take a taxi, the always at a reasonable price on the island bring. The complex itself was in my eyes (and so, i am not) as well as a bit dated and is not 5 star, i have compared to Bali/ Thailand to become acquainted with were allowed.

    Spacious and renovated with all comfort. Reisebügeleisen can stay at home since iron and ironing boards in the room available. Front door is however all outside noise through. A connecting door and clothes hooks would be attached.

    Several restaurants like many a time described. Reservation for the à la carte restaurant the best on arrival day. Very good cuisine in the à la carte area, as well as buffet. Le boucanier (gourmet rest) Was disappointed. Breakfast buffet good but not very varied. Everyday the same offer. Service for breakfast very slow and unprofessional. Against during dinner in all outlets good. All kinds of drinks all inclusive from the champagne, bottled wines and international spirits. Very generous.

    Water skiing, sailing, pedalo, kayak, glass boat etc. All inclusive trip with a motor boat for a fee worthwhile (3a 4 hours about € 170,-) wonderful snorkelling possibilities on middle beach. Two beautiful spa's. a massage per person included appointment with prior booking.

Always another recommendation value and you are huge trouble now all rooms to renovate or on current conditions. All, in was slightly reduced for example no wine in the minimal and no beach guards, otherwise everything was as usual. read more

    There are 4 specialty restaurants and 1 main restaurant which was in the all-inclusive included are. In the speciality restaurants (fish, thai, italian, international) is a reservation erfordliche, these same at the beginning of the stay (switch right next to reception) perform, as they fill up quickly. Furthermore, there were 2 pool bars. The food is excellent, really really good kitchen. Either after map or fixed menu. Also in the main restaurant, which form of a buffet was, you can about the food nothing to complain about. The drinks are all brilliantly firm to also liquor, so no alcohol or similar The waiters enjoy over tip, but none.

    The staff is consistently friendly and accommodating. The service is perfect. It is a all of our wishes were fulfilled. The staff speaks fluent english and french, sometimes also german. The cleaning of the rooms always thoroughly done.

    It is a comprehensive sports facilities in the all inclusive. For example sport center, water ski, kayak, pedal boats, catamaran etc.. It is partly only the briefing pay for example with the catamaran sailing, is however also not expensive (about 20 €) The sport is discreet, it didn't bother us but it is a definitely not boring. At the pool and the beach there were beach chairs with cushions and towels included. Stationary umbrellas also available in large numbers or palm trees. There was discreet entertainment in the evenings by the pool, the not intrusive is.

    The hotel is directly at the private sandy beach (with 3 bays, two of them in the direct vicinity of the pool bar, on the open sea). The airport is only 15 minutes away. Starting and landing planes in listening and sight. Which is however not a problem, as it was only around 7 to 10 aircraft per day are. It is more of a spectacle, as the planes in the air upward lift. In the hotel complex there was a small boutique, apart from that, the hotel is quite secluded. Excursions are regularly from the hotel, but also from local tourist guides offered. There were 4 specialty restaurants in the hotel complex, which in the all inclusive offer are included. So you don't have the charge eating out to go. Mahebourg is around 15 to 30 -minute drive away. At the hotel are always taxis there, and a rental car service ( hert'z ).

The shandrani hotel the beachcomber group has 327 rooms ( seemed to small) and is 12-years-old. Top condition Only all inclusive for all of the guest, of the finest quality, it really nothing to be desired. During our stay was the predominant gästenation french and English, some German and other mixed europeans, little russians, no asians. Average age difficult to determine, it has lots of guests around 30 (honeymooners) and the 50, also (few) on 70. read more

    The deluxe room is actually a 4 room apartment ( large bathroom, dressing room, separate toilet, large bedroom. The deluxe room are currently being renovated (no burden of construction), one is almost by. We had such a renovated room and were very satisfied. The furniture was very new. Facilities: large bed (2.2 times 2 meters), 5 sweater sofa, table, flat screen ( ka which program, was never with us ), balcony ( view of the sea in all the rooms) with 4 seats and table, telephone, iron and ironing board. Nice equipped bathroom with a shower and a tub. Cleanliness is good, it is twice per day cleaned. The floor, but once be mopped (you looked at dirty socks and slippers) Mini bar in the room, the to order refilled.

    5 restaurants: - the ' grand port main restaurant, a buffet restaurant fu ̈ R all meal times, And the 4 à la carte: - the ' sirius' fu ̈ R lunch and dinner, franzo ̈ sure restaurantstil, - the 'ponte veccio ', a mediterranean inspired locally, The 'le bucanier ', a fish restaurant and. - the 'teak elephant', a asian restaurant, the ( in my opinion best of all). The 4 à la carte restaurant must be booked, next to the reception, what also on several occasions can (we were everywhere 2 times). Evenings with à la carte menu, but always for allergies or antpatien (crustaceans with me) was taken into consideration and the menu should be adapted. - several bars, widest possible choice of cocktails. The champagne is also included ( from o'clock and for dinner). In all restaurants is the quality on each doubt sublime. Cleanliness perfect. A loose atmosphere, but it is appropriate clothes respected, at lunch no shorts, the evening long pants and closed shoes. Tips are not common, it is even in hotelmagazin in the room pointed out, the end of the vacation an envelope can, then 'fair' is to be distributed.

    Very friendly staff, always helpful and friendly. Hardly takes you anywhere place is serving staff and ask for and offers drinks at. Slang in the hotel is English or french, the everyone speaks from the staff. Individual members of front desk/ concierge also spoke German. You will for example from a German speaking staff on arrival greeted and with the hotel published. Cleanliness without any criticism. The rooms are 2 times cleaned daily, on mostly the towels exchanged. The blue beach towels always changed in the evening. Laundry service is offered (not used). With complaints very sovereign dealt with, we had a small complaint because of a tech. Defect, no 10 minutes later a server and regulates it.

    Sport as a large selection: water skiing, sailing, surfing: everything included. Tennis and golf (only balls must be paid). Several biking (I participated), because of the consideration on inexperienced very slow expire (8 kilometer after mahébourg = 45 minutes) Shops: three small shops (once jewelry, once clothes, a sundry shop on the grounds ( next to the reception). Evening entertainment at the main bar: music and sometimes dance iunternetzugang: on our ( deluxe ) room wi-fi-router behind the bedside table. In the main building only in the business center (basement) Beach: enough room on loungers and protection from the sun, both at the lagoons -, as well as at the brandungsseite.     Driving directions from the airport only minutes by car. That is an advantage, but you can also hear the departing and landing airplanes (whom it disturbs). Waked it didn't never. Apart from that there are in the area nothing except sugar cane. No shops. The next city 'mahebourg' is by bike 8 kilometer away, by car/ taxi (one must around the airport) 20 kilometer. Directly at the beach. Either the bay/lagoon or the lake with waves. Beautiful korallensandstramd (I would recommend beach shoes, because of the corals). Excursions: with bus from the hotel or travel guide organized, or with rental car or taxi on the whole island, the only 40 times 60 kilometer large.

The hotel exceeded all our expectations in particular, what the all inclusive-offer subject. We were from morning until evening. We were satisfied all around and it was one of our most beautiful vacation. As German we were in the minority, the majority of the guests came from Italy, France and England. read more

    The rooms were very large and comfortably furnished. Our room was with a king-size bed equipped, a comfortable seating area, a always stuffed mini bar and coffee-making facilities. The bathroom was also exceptionally large with a bathtub, double sink, shower and separate toilet. The terrace with a direct access to the garden and beach with a table, davenport and armchairs equipped.

    Beside the büfettrestaurent with live cooking there are four à la carte restaurant, all A excellent cuisine offer. The restaurant staff is exceptionally friendly and professional. Each extrawusch was promptly fulfilled without tip to expect. Everything made a very clean and maintained impression.

    There was no complaints whatsoever in our opinion. We have all of the staff at the hotel as always smiling, friendly and helpful experienced. Our room was twice daily to our complete satisfaction presented. Even at the beach we were with drinks and snacks supplies.

    The sporty activity were no limits, as almost all activities, wether sailing, canoeing, golf, tennis or water skiing in the all inclusive package are. There are shops in a small boutique in the hotel and apart from that in mahébourg. Beach and pool were very clean and were constantly well-kept. Chairs and sunscreens were abundant.

    The hotel lies directly at a lagoon and a natural beach in a wonderful tropical garden. The airport is in the immediate area, which for us however not was disturbing. The access route was short and the few flugzeugstarts took place in the morning and evenings. There was very good excursions directly from the hotel.

The hotel does not the, which in the reviews and in the hotel descriptions is promised. The furnishings in all areas is rather baroque gelsenkirchen as modern hotel facilities. Be relevant many rooms renovated, but we didn't more. The beaches belong the best, which we ever saw. Here and in the pool areas is in any case a sun lounger free, which we thought was extremely relaxing found. The garden is worth seeing and well maintained. read more

Be relevant many rooms renovated, but we didn't more. The beaches belong the best, which we ever saw. Impressed us the friendliness the people in the hotel - no matter in which area was every helpful, competent and felt proud of his job. We had a very spacious deluxe room/family apartment. Great hotel with small flaws. The room decor in our deluxe room was a bit antiquated. But not defective. We had view of the sea booked, could but because of the dense palm vegetation the sea unfortunately only imagine or hear, as our room on the second floor lag. Annoying are the company events the in the hotel apparently constantly take place and with loud parties partially until late in the night go. The few planes from the nearby Airfield off and landing have against not disturbed. read more

    As already described, is probably the most rooms totally run-down. Fom the renovated there would be after notification of employees only a couple. The rest is in my opinion a device, the rather on the check garbage than in a 5-star resort. Our first room had in the bathroom solid mold. Also in the 2. rooms were in the renovated bathroom moldy spots to see and smell. So nothing for schimmelallergiker or persons with history. The aircon managed with over 30 degrees outside temperature not, a pleasant cool in the room to produce. Damp became clothes weathered not in the room and not at all in the humid außenklima.
