A lovely hotel for city breaks. The staff at the check in ( perhaps an isolated case) was somewhat mürrisch. Very recommendable, read more

Good hotel where a stopover of short stay in NYC. Free late check out at 1:00 P. M. meters and long after check-out we could the showers of the fitness centers to us for the return flight cleaned up.
Right on the 'ground zero'. Coffee in the house, well air-conditioned, nice check in and check out, very accommodating. read more

The hotel is clean and decorated in a friendly style. The rooms are for Manhattan relatively large. On the side of the building to the ground zero is the noise nuisance however currently not be denied. But in New York it is almost nowhere really quiet. The public Verkehrtsmittel are more than reachable on foot and the southern point of Manhattan just a couple of minutes hike away. The air conditioning is really loud and ensures that a constant draught. With us furthermore manipulated by the door column on the floor in the rooms. Only on the gap located towel ... was the room then quiet. read more

Were Christmas shopping in new York city. Got through priceline the hotel at a very good rate, which at this time of year is a rare thing. The original rate for the room was $750 per night. Check in and check out are a bit inconvenient to the location of the hotel. First night in a room next to the ice machine in the hallway spent. 24 hour hour is also the construction on ground zero not silent. Move the next morning in a quieter room was despite full capacity not an issue. Unfortunately, we did a quick room change ... and a toothbrush our electricity adapter. These two lost and found are available on request and control of the room not seen the light of day again. Hotel provided a free adapters in the Concierge service we were a bit surprised, that a shuttle from Newark airport to the challenge. Two women had radically different opinions, but a taxi with a $65-hundred the worst. Shuttle buses were not recommended. The easiest path is a path train to Newark train station and take the airport bus directly to the airport terminals. Cost $3.50 per person in the on-line check-in they tried to help us, then unfortunately didn't work because of the Transatlantikfluges. The business center on the first floor was not open. Restorations in the hotel was always attracting a lot of visitors and Starbucks in the hotel brings many benefits. The decoration spirits in the hotel and in the outdoor area was very appealing and beautiful to look at. In terms of location would recommend this hotel, if you want to avoid the hustle. With the line 1 in 15 minutes you are at the central park. All around a great hotel. read more

The hotel is right next to ground zero. Even if there is built, there was no noise at all. The room was large enough for four people. We had a view to the Houdson, unfortunately, a building covered the Statue of Liberty. The bathroom was okay, only the air conditioning has powerful wind. Starbucks and a sports bar are in the house. The taxi costs $50 from JFK and took about an hour. U-train stations nearby. We explored the area with bicycles. Rental in the Battery park. read more

Also for "normal" getaway. Depending on the booked category there including breakfast on a separate floor. Starbucks and a restaurant are but at the hotel. Rooms are large and clean and with basics including free of charge safe. WIFI is only in the lobby free and only with low bandwidth available. Bathroom was large enough and is American standard. Windows don't open, so the air conditioner. read more

The Marriott Financial Center - now rebranded in New York Marriott Downtown - is a large, very clean and absolutely comfortable property with own-house Starbucks, a restaurant, a conference room, a pleasant lobby and a variety of black-and-New York-taking pictures in entire hotel. both the general hotel area as well as the room made a very clean impression. The hotel does not have its own car park in front of the door, which was not so easy for the space LIMITATION in Manhattan, if you wanted, you could be for about $50 car but the valet parking desk when you ... leave and the nearby multi-storey car park. read more

The hotel is located next to the World Trade Center. The traffic connections by bus and train is good. The hotel is used mostly by business travellers during the week at the weekend there for a cheap price good deals for tourists.
Our room was huge and very clean.
The bed was to die for ☺
The lobby staff very polite and helpful.
Although we had much too early in the hotel were, we were able to check-in immediately.
It all went very quickly!
It is only a few minutes walk from the ferries to the Statue of Liberty. The ... 'downtown' area can easily be explored on foot.
Breakfast is served either in the restaurant or at Starbucks (in the house).
I have stayed several times in Manhattan and I am of the opinion, that this was the best hotel where I stayed. read more
