We are on the ' ndololo camp' encountered, after limitless horrified and disappointed of the changes, the old ' tahri camp' have been made, in the short term after a alternative searched (see also my evaluation under 'sentrim lodge tsavo east'). The ndololo camp is harmoniously integrated into the surrounding scrubland a. It's not fenced and the animals are in real directly in front of the tents and in front of the bar - respectively restaurant-area past. Mornings we could a herd impalas watch, lunch came elephants past. The tents are not too close together, all the paths are with ... large stone slabs tiled. read more

A tent, with 'real' zeltboden, as the old ' tahri camp' and as we also from the maasai Mara know, there is unfortunately in ndololo camp not. The floor is with the same stone slabs, the also for the paths were used, tiled. The sanitary area in the tent, consisting of shower and toilet, with brick walls trimmed and with curtains separated. The rest consists of real tarpaulin. The sound of-or tightened zeltreißverschlusses for me is an indispensable part of a camp -stay. The tents are clean and spacious, are not too close together and all have a small terrace with armchairs, from where you can enjoy an unspoiled view of the surrounding scrubland and their animals has.

The food is as a buffet offered. The offer and the selection were for us absolutely sufficient. Taste and quality the dishes were very good.

The staff was very responsive to all our wishes and was always friendly. As I could watch, were adequate foreign languages skills available, the for me however secondary are, because I myself kiswahili speak. That a keniasche travel group this camp as a place to stay elected, is for me a sign, in that camp Kenya respectively Afrika to come closer, as in other accommodation.

  • Sport & Entertainment

If you in a safari-camp after sports and entertainment possibilities or pool searches, is somehow in the wrong place. The is possible in a safari vehicle while pirschfahrten, without too much blue stains einhzuhandeln, is sportive enough. Observation of the numerous animals, be amazed about the grandiose landscape, with a drink in hand into the campfire look or on the terrace before the tent sit, in the bush listen and star gazing, satisfy me as entertainment on offer perfectly. Why you in the middle of a national park precious resources such as water and electricity for the operation of a pools waste must, only a minority of guests a questionable and decadent condition could, while all around animals while searching for drinking water wander, I will always stay a mystery. If you have such a luxury if, in the 'voi safari lodge' or 'sentrim lodge tsavo east' (formerly tarhi camp), where the construction of a pools is planned, better cared for.

The camp is located in tsavo east national park nearby the kangeri -marsh. The stables of the' David sheldrick wildlife trust' are merely circa 10 minutes, so that for all godfathers of an elephant waisens, their love to visit want and not in the mass production of the 'voi safari lodge' want to come, perfect is.

We felt the Ndololo camp due to the good reviews here in the HC rausgesucht and booked. We weren't disappointed. No luxury - we did not also expect that. But what you on safari searches. This special something - the the Ndololo camp. Afrika - safari - nature - noise-starry sky-animals to be catched, by the waterhole. It was very romantic. The tents are well equipped, comfortable beds with mosquito net, closet, table, washbasin, shower, toilet and terrace with a view of the waterhole. It was everything very clean. We were warmly welcomed and were in shortest time in our ... tent. Food was sufficient and very tasty. Also the area the camp was relatively green and bosky. Unfortunately remained for us also here the view of the leopards denied. We are the Buchuma gate purely and again out. Unfortunately was the way with 2.5-3 H very long. And the first one and a half hours was the park so dry, we were shocked. Not an animal. And the over an hour long. This is very depressing. Thank god is the area the camp much better. The camp 100% recommend. Anke and Mario read more

We have this camp for one night visited. The camp is very quaint and comfortable and perfectly into the nature integrated, Bush feeling pure. The tents are clean and spacious. We had one of the newer Tents with tiled bathroom area. The food was okay, no massive selection, but it was delicious. Everything you need was there. Unfortunately there was on this day a invasion by Italians, the camp was fully booked. During dinner had the somewhat late to were then somewhat worse tickets with the food. Whether it at a bad planning of the camps was or, that very ... lots of people my the plates to stand-up collar fully to have to make then more than half to reduce is time debatable. I liked it there and I would recommend this camp again in the near future. read more

The quaint Ndololo camp is about 7 kilometers away the voi gate in the middle of a beautiful Scrubland. About 20 tents add wonderful in this one. The tents have a shower, a separate toilet, a sink, as well as a small storage table -the furniture was from rustic olive wood manufactured. There are tents for single as well as double or triple occupancy available. A small veranda there is also. At certain times the electricity turned off. The restaurant offers buffet and the dishes really all very tasty. Evenings you can have it at the campfire comfortable. Once you ... a really rustic camp should the Ndololo book. read more

The Ndololo safari camp was a very nice in the nature integrated, smaller tent-camp, in which we are very felt at ease have. Since around the camp no fence is, the animals to the camp. Have evenings on the way back to the tent a diken diken observed. Pimples-feeling PUR. The tents are big enough and the food was very tasty. The staff were very friendly and is to small wishes received. But unfortunately the time always so fast, we would have liked to have stayed longer. We will definitely go back to this camp and book can definitely recommend ... it. read more

beautiful small, quaint tent camp in Tsavo East national park. In the middle of the nowhere, or better said, in the middle of the African Bush. The Camp consists of several large tents, which are on a concrete slab are built and with a robust thatched roof are protected. Weitern there is a small front desk, a dining room and a small clearing with fireplace. Throughout the camp and in the camp it was very clean. Electricity was only at certain times. read more

beautiful spacious Tents, with a shower and toilet (only with a curtain from the interior of the Zeltes separated), washbasin, Luggage rack, small hochschrank and a massive, beautiful in African style built double bed with mosquito net. Opens one back Tent wall, you have a wonderful View from the bed in the countryside. on the terrace there is a small table with 2 chairs.

To the meal times ( breakfast, lunch and dinner) there was a straightforward buffet. Lunch and evenings somewhat salad, Chicken, rice, pasta and soup. Tasted OK. drink prices were not too expensive, a Coke and a beer for 350 kshs( about 1 euro).

as I have already mentioned, in the middle of the boonies, in the immediate vicinity is nothing. It is also not recommended, the camp to leave, as wild animals in the area there are. The camp was not fenced, evenings be accompanied by a employees from the tent go.

If you want to experience Africa and wildlife, is right at home here! The camp is basic but for us the most authentic on our 6 täg. Safari. The tents were clean and plenty of room for two adults and 2Kd afrik.! good food, although not in a large variety, therefor but very tasty. Staff very helpful and friendly! For dinner we had visit volt elephant-a very impressive from 10m distance. The camp was not fenced and so the animals up to the tents if you're lucky. In the evening campfire with Masai stories. Our conclusion: not luxury camp ..., therefor, it was a good price-performance ratio was adequate. Again at any time! read more

The camp had about 15-20 tents in a semi-circle arrangement. In the center was a campfire, where in the evening the Askari (Massai) told stories. In the camp at present was a construction site (new paths were being made and a roofed dining room was being built) which was however not further disturbing. During the day we were gone hunting from early in the morning until dusk. read more

Although I checked already before the camp with HolidayCheck, I was nevertheless somewhat surprised about the luxury. Large, spacious with clean toilet and shower in the indoor area. The furniture was very beautiful and suitable from African olive wood. Each tent had a terrace with table and chairs. We had a beautiful view from ours and could admire the passing giraffe and elephant herds. I would have preferred to take the mattress home, I could not remember when I had slept so well recently.

The camp was located about 70 kms from the Buchuma Gate entfert, in the middle of the bush country of Tsavo east. The camp was not fenced and was guarded by a Massai in the evening. In the evening the electricity generator was switched off at 10.30 pm and again in the morning only at 5am which meant, in this time one must help himself with candles or a flashlight.
