A true highlight of our trip to Switzerland. The experience started with the incredibly friendly and helpful staff (thanks Marco) picking us up from the cable car station. We stayed in the family apartment on the top floor which was spacious, very comfortable, tastelfully decorated, and impeccably clean. The hotel was beautifully peaceful with a great location and outlook. The restauarnt had excellent food and great value. The included breakfast was also excellent. The owner Christian goes out of his way to ensure you have all you need and that all of your neefs are met. It was a real ... pleasure to stay here, our only regret was that we could not have stayed longer. We would love to return. Thanks to Christian, Marco and all of the staff. read more

Especially our kids felt very much at ease, the extensive possibilities for hiking, as well as the willingness to help on the whole village with all possibilities ... for playing, convinced us. We came to Bettmeralp to hike. We wanted a pleasant base with good quality food and friendly staff. The Bettmerhof ticked every box. Every single member of staff was keen to please - having stayed in many an hotel for business and leisure, we can say that the staff here are very special. The food was a particular highlight; the daily fixed menu was varied and very well prepared in our opinion. As English speakers, we appreciated how everyone put up with our feeble grasp of the German language and made us feel comfortable.
